00:00What would a championship mean to you?
00:03For me, it's everything.
00:04I used to wake up in the morning, my Knicks bed sheets, Knicks pillow sheets, everything.
00:08Go to school, they used to have no board.
00:11Knicks lose again.
00:12It don't mean a lot.
00:13It means a lot because I'm about to get emotional.
00:16Listen, kids at school were telling me, oh, why are you supporting the Knicks?
00:19Why are you wearing that?
00:20Kids were saying, oh, they're not doing nothing.
00:22We won 17 games.
00:23They made a whole meme about us talking about Tengus Pingus.
00:25And I was the one supporting, like, yo, this guy is good.
00:28So now if Jalen Brunson wins as a chip, that means everything to me.
00:31That means my life.
00:32And if they lose or win, I'm going to cry regardless.
00:35So much.
00:37It would be so exciting to watch New York basketball come back after not being here for so long.
00:42I mean everything.
00:43I think the city has been in a drought since, what, the 70s?
00:46So, you know, I'm a childhood, lifelong Knicks fan.
00:50So it would mean everything, not only to me, but to the city.
00:53Knicks bringing the title home to me.
00:55I just look at it, it just shows patience and believing in yourself.
01:01And like what I tell my kids, believing in something that in patience and time, you'll see good results.
01:08I think that means I'll get a ring.
01:11Everybody getting rings.
01:12Oprah, you get a ring, you get a ring, you get a ring too.
01:14If you win a ring, should we get another one?
01:16We're all getting wedding bands, everything, yeah.
01:18Oh, man, that would be a great thing.
01:20Because after waiting 53 years, there's still been a lot of guys to see me here, to stay here at
01:2767.
01:28Look at this young man, 67.
01:31They say, you ain't no 67.
01:33It'd be a great thing for me.
01:34Definitely calling in to work the next day after the parade, huh?
01:38I feel like you're going to be partying, climbing up poles.
01:40No, I'm going to be at work partying while they be partying.
01:44Because the Knicks ain't paying my bill.
01:46Now, I want them to win, but they ain't paying my bill for me to stop working and come partying.
01:51Now, I'm going to party right through the hallway swinging that mop.
01:54Go, Knicks.
01:55And that's how it's going to go down.
