00:00Hello everyone, a lot of you are asking me what are the best combinations to use on this season's passive
00:06modifiers for the Red Horizon season.
00:08And I've only really been using two combinations, so I will reveal them in this video and talk you through
00:14them.
00:15But more so, this video, I want you to do, if you've got a nice little setup that you've got,
00:20comment down below and comment with what build you're using it for.
00:23Because I believe depending on the build, you're going to have different combinations.
00:27Now, I mainly do DPS, so there's two combinations that work well with that, whether I'm solo or whether I'm
00:32with a group.
00:33But I've had loads of questions, like I'm a healer, so how would that work and things like that.
00:37So, make sure you're commenting down below your combinations and the build you're using them on,
00:43so other people can read through the comment section of this video to get some good ideas.
00:47So, I'm going to go through my best combinations and what I use now and talk you through them.
00:51Now, the active modifier really doesn't matter, that's just personal preference for what you want.
00:56You've got Fiery Aura, real great, you'll proc that, you'll set enemies on fire that you run through.
01:01You've got Vicarious Combustion, which is if you're aiming for headshots, you've got to set people on fire once you
01:07proc that.
01:08And one of my favourites is, or my favourite probably, is Signed Shield Delivered.
01:12Works great on a blue striker build.
01:14When I proc this, as long as I'm getting kills, I never run out on my magazine.
01:17It's absolutely brilliant.
01:19And then, at level 5, the kills extended duration.
01:22So, whatever your preference is on these, whatever you like the sounds of, go for.
01:26But the passive modifiers, rather, are what will determine how quick your gauge charges, basically.
01:35And you've got some extra ones as well, which we'll go over.
01:38So, what I like to do, if I'm playing solo, the three that I use, I use Flow Regulator.
01:44Each pressure gauge filling section yields an extra 10% of its own value.
01:48And then, for the second one, I'm going to be using Throttle Valve, where I earn 25% pressure gauge
01:53per action, but decay occurs at a 50% faster pace.
01:57And then, my third one that I use, this is for when I'm solo, is Leaky Valve.
02:01Pressure gauge decay is no longer stopped by staying in cover bar, or during cover-to-cover maneuvers.
02:07But pressure gauge gains are improved by 50% from all actions.
02:10You can see all the stats there, with all three of these on, just how quick each of these actions
02:15are filling my gauge.
02:16So, I can really get this up very quickly.
02:19And I can be using this a lot when I'm playing solo.
02:22I'm going to show you an example now at Viewpoint Museum.
02:24If you set this mission up, we'll set it up on Heroic, so you can see it working on Heroic.
02:29As long as you've got a good build that's taking out enemies very quickly, you're going to get your pressure
02:33gauge filled quick.
02:35And you should be able to use it within an area.
02:38You just need adds.
02:39As long as you've got enough adds, it's going to work.
02:42And when you're playing solo, for the most part, you have enough adds.
02:45So, at a Heroic, we're going to run into the mission here.
02:47I am using a Banshee Pulse, because that's going to be a way of charging this quicker, by getting the
02:51enemies set on a status.
02:53So, we'll be setting enemies on a status effect, and we'll also be aiming for the head.
02:57And that's going to get some very quick gains.
03:03So, you can see I'm already at 49%, 64% just after those few adds there.
03:08I'm aiming for the head to get it up quick.
03:11And my Banshee just really increased things, because it also put them on a status.
03:15I'm at 90% here.
03:2293%, and just in this area, we're able to proc our active.
03:29So, it's as quick as that.
03:33As quick as that.
03:34And that's on Heroic as well.
03:35If you're playing on lower difficulties, that'll go up even quicker, I imagine, because the adds will die quicker.
03:41But also, add density as a thing as well.
03:43But I'm able to do this at the start of viewpoints in this area, even on story.
03:47So, that's how quick you can charge it with that free combination.
03:50And when playing solo, that's what I do.
03:52However, when I'm in a squad, if squadmates are obviously killing as well, it can be a little bit difficult,
03:58and it's not as good.
04:00So, although it's fast charging, unless I'm getting the kills, there's no decay delay when you're set up like this.
04:07Which means if you're not getting kills, it's going to decay quickly as well.
04:10So, when I'm playing in a squad, I'll quite often take off a leaky valve, and instead, I'll go vacuum
04:15seal.
04:16And what vacuum seal does, pressure gauge no longer decays.
04:19Pressure gauge gains reduced by 50% from all actions.
04:22So, the 50% reduction, you can see how low it is now.
04:28But because I've still got throttle valve on a flow regulator, it's still going up a little bit quicker.
04:32But this will take longer now to charge your gauge.
04:35However, it won't decay.
04:36So, eventually, as long as you don't take downs, because that will reset your gauge when you take it down,
04:42you will get the 95% or whatever, 100% gauge that you need to proc your active.
04:48And when I'm playing in a group, I will be proccing my active at least, I don't know, 2, 3,
04:524 times per mission, depending on the length.
04:55So, that's another good way of doing it, just removing the decay altogether.
04:59So, that's how I play.
05:01They're the two combinations that I use.
05:03And if I want to use any of the tools, because there's some quite good tools, like people love microwave
05:07coils, for example.
05:08You might like some of these other ones.
05:10What I'd say is just take off one of these, flow regulator or throttle valve.
05:14If you take off one of them, you'll lose a bit of charge on the gauge.
05:17But then you can bring in one of these that you like to use.
05:21So, if I wanted to use microwave coils, that's how I'd have it set up for the group.
05:25I'd have throttle valve, I'd have vacuum seal, and I'd have microwave coils.
05:30But you could also go leaky valve, throttle valve, and microwave coils if you wanted to,
05:37and still have quite a quick pace of charging it.
05:40So, yeah, there are a couple of combinations that I've got for you there, which I've been using.
05:47They're the only real combinations I've been using so far.
05:49I love you asking what I'm using.
05:50There it is.
05:51But I'm sure there's loads of you using different combinations for different sorts of builds.
05:55I'm mainly DPSing.
05:57I haven't even done tier 10 escalations yet this season.
05:59We're about to go live after this video and do them.
06:02So, it might be that I come up with a different combination for tier 10 escalations,
06:05because of how tanky the enemies are.
06:07It might just be that I use that second combination, as said, where it doesn't decay.
06:11So, at least I just get it a few times throughout the mission.
06:13But if I do come up with any other combinations,
06:16I too will comment on this video with the combinations of what sort of build I am using.
