00:05psalm 143 verse 2 enter not into judgment with thy servant o lord for in thy sight shall no man
00:16living be justified
00:20dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places to acknowledge and confess our
00:28manifold sins and wickedness but that we should not disassemble nor clave them before the face of
00:37almighty god our heavenly father but confess them with a humble lowly penitence and obedient heart
00:47to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness and mercy and although we
00:57ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:01yet ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits
01:09we have received at his hands
01:12to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most holy word and to ask those things which are
01:21requisite
01:22and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:28wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present to accompany me with a pure heart
01:35and humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace saying after me
01:44almighty and most merciful father we have aired and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
01:53we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:00we have offended against thy holy laws
02:05we have left undone those things which we ought to have done
02:10and we have done those things we ought not to have done and there is no health in us
02:18but thou o lord have mercy upon us miserable offenders
02:24spare thou them o god who confess their faults restore thou those who are penitent
02:32according to thy promises declared unto mankind in christ jesus our lord
02:39and grant o most merciful father for his sake that we may hereafter live a godly righteous and sober life
02:48to the glory of thy holy name amen
02:55almighty god the father of our lord jesus christ who desireth not the death of a sinner but rather that
03:03he
03:04turn from his wickedness and live and has given power and commandments to his ministers to declare and
03:11pronounce to his people being penitent the absolution and remission of their sins
03:21he pardoneth and absolveth all who truly repent and unfainly believe his holy gospel
03:31wherefore let us beseech him to grant us true repentance and his holy spirit
03:38that those things may please him which we do at this present and that the rest of our life hereafter
03:45may be pure and holy so that at the last we may come to his eternal joy through jesus christ
03:54our lord
03:58our father
04:01our father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name
04:06thy kingdom come
04:07thy will be done as it is in heaven
04:11give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
04:17as we forgive them that trespass against us
04:20and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom
04:27the power and the glory for ever and ever
04:30amen
04:35o lord open our lips
04:38and our mouth shall show forth thy praise
04:44o god make speed to save us
04:48o lord make haste to help us
04:54glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy ghost
04:58as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be
05:03a world without end
05:06amen
05:09praise ye the lord
05:11the lord's name be praised
05:17o come let us sing unto the lord and let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation
05:25let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and show ourselves glad in him with songs
05:33for the lord is a great god and a great king above all gods
05:39in his hand are all the corners of the earth and the strength of the hills is his also
05:46the sea is his and he made it and his hands prepared the dry land
05:52o come let us worship and hold home and kneel before the lord our maker
05:59for he is the lord our god and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his
06:06hand
06:08today if you will hear his voice harden not your hearts as in the provocation
06:14and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness
06:19when our fathers tempted us proved us and saw our works
06:26forty years long i was grieved with this generation and said it is a people
06:30that do err in their hearts and they have not known my ways
06:37and to whom i swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest
06:44glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy ghost
06:48as it was in the beginning he is now and ever shall be world without end amen
07:05psalm 62

07:24how long will you imagine mischief against every man he shall be slain all the sort of you yea as
07:32a
07:32trottering wall shall you be like a broken hedge their device is only how to put him out whom god
07:41will
07:41exult they delight is in lies they give good words with their mouth but curse with their heart
07:50nevertheless my soul wait thou still upon god for my hope is in him he truly is my strength and
07:58my salvation
07:59he is my defence so that i shall not fall in god is my health and my glory the rock
08:07of my might and in god is my trust
08:11but put your trust in him always you people pour out your hearts before him for god is our hope
08:20as for the children of men they are but vanity the children of men are deceitful upon the weights
08:26they are altogether lighter than vanity itself
08:31oh trust not in wrong and robbery give not yourselves unto vanity if riches increase set not your heart upon
08:40them
08:41god spake once and twice i have heard the same that power belongeth unto god and that thou lord art
08:50merciful
08:51for thou rewardest every man according to his work glory be to the father and to the son and to
09:00the holy ghost
09:01as it was in the beginning is it now and ever shall be world without end
09:08amen psalm cably psalm 63 psalm 63 psalm 63 psalm 63 psalm 63 you leysor
09:26dry land where no water is.
09:30Thus have I looked for thee in holiness,
09:34that I might behold thy power and glory.
09:38For thy lovingkindness is better than the life itself.
09:42My lips shall praise thee.
09:45As long as I live will I magnify thee on this matter,
09:49and lift up my hands in thy name.
09:53My soul shall be satisfied, even as it were with marrow and fatness,
09:59when my mouth praiseth thee with joyful lips.
10:03Have I not remembered thee in my bed and thought upon thee when I was waking?
10:09Because thou hast been my helper,
10:11therefore under the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
10:16My soul hangeth upon thee,
10:19thy right hand hath upholdeth me.
10:23These also that seek the hurt of my soul,
10:27they shall go under the earth.
10:29Let them fall upon the edge of the sword,
10:32that they may be a big portion for foxes.
10:35But the king shall rejoice in God.
10:38All they that also swear by him shall be commended,
10:42for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
10:48Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost,
10:53as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
10:57world without end.
10:59Amen.
11:02Psalm 64.
11:05Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer.
11:09Preserve my life from the fear of the enemy.
11:13Hide me from the gathering together of the froward
11:16and from the insurrection of wicked doers,
11:19who have wet their tongue like a sword,
11:22and shoot out their arrows even bitter words.
11:26That they may privily shoot at him that is perfect.
11:31Suddenly do they hit him and fear not.
11:34They encourage themselves in mischief and commune amongst themselves
11:38how they may lay snares and say that no man shall see them.
11:44They imagine wickedness and practice it,
11:46but they keep secret amongst themselves,
11:49every man in the deep of his heart.
11:53But God shall suddenly shoot at them with a swift arrow,
11:57that they shall be wounded.
11:59Yea, their own tongues shall make them fall,
12:01insomuch as whoso seeth them shall laugh them to scorn.
12:07And all men that see it shall say,
12:10This God hath done,
12:12for they shall perceive that it is his work.
12:16The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord
12:19and put his trust in him.
12:21And all they that are true of heart shall be glad.
12:28Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
12:30and to the Holy Ghost,
12:32as it was in the beginning,
12:34is now and ever shall be,
12:36world without gain.
12:38Amen.
12:42The Prophet Ezekiel, Chapter 38
12:47Yahweh's word came to me, saying,
12:49Son of man,
12:49set your face toward Gog,
12:52of the land of Magog,
12:53the prince of Rosh,
12:55Meshech, and Tubal,
12:56and prophesy against him,
12:59saying,
13:00Thus says the Lord Yahweh,
13:02Behold, I am against you,
13:04Gog, prince of Rosh,
13:06Meshech, and Tubal.
13:08I will turn you around,
13:09and put hooks into your jaws,
13:11and I will bring you out,
13:13with all your army,
13:15horses, and horsemen,
13:16all of them clothed in full armor,
13:19a great company,
13:21with buckler and shield,
13:22all of them handling swords,
13:25Persia, Cush, and Put with them,
13:28all of them with shield and helmet,
13:32Goma, and all his herds,
13:34the house of Togamah,
13:36in the uttermost parts of the north,
13:38and all his hordes,
13:40even many peoples with you.
13:43Be prepared, yes,
13:44prepare yourself,
13:45you and all your companies,
13:47who are assembled to you.
13:49Be a guard to them.
13:51After many days,
13:52you will be visited.
13:54In the latter years,
13:55you will come into the land,
13:56that is brought back from the sword,
13:59that is gathered out of many peoples,
14:02on the mountains of Israel,
14:05which have been a continual waste.
14:08But it is brought out of the peoples,
14:11and they will dwell securely,
14:13all of them.
14:15You will ascend,
14:16you will come like a storm,
14:18you will be like a cloud,
14:20to cover the land,
14:21you and all your hordes,
14:23and all the many peoples with you.
14:26Thus says the Lord Yahweh,
14:28it will happen in that day,
14:30that things will come into your mind,
14:32and that you will devise an evil plan.
14:36I will go up into the land of the unwalled villages,
14:40you will say.
14:41I will go to those who are at rest,
14:44who dwell securely,
14:45all of them dwelling without walls,
14:48and having neither bars nor gates,
14:51and take plunder and prey,
14:53to turn your hand against the waste places,
14:56that are inhabited,
14:57and against the people,
14:59who are gathered out of the nations,
15:01who have livestock and goods,
15:04who dwell in the middle of the earth.
15:14have you come to take the plunder?
15:17Have you assembled your company to take the prey,
15:20to carry away silver and gold,
15:22to take away livestock and goods,
15:24to take great plunder?
15:28Therefore, son of man,
15:30prophesy and tell Gog.
15:32Thus says the Lord Yahweh,
15:35in that day when my people Israel dwells securely,
15:38will you not know it?
15:40You will come from your place,
15:42as of the uttermost parts of the north,
15:44you and many peoples with you,
15:46all of them riding on horses,
15:49a great company and mighty army.
15:52You will come up against my people Israel,
15:56as a cloud to cover the land.
15:59It will happen in the latter days,
16:01that I will bring you against my land,
16:04that the nations may know me,
16:06and that I am sanctified in you,
16:09Gog,
16:10before their eyes.
16:13Thus says the Lord Yahweh,
16:16Are you he of whom I spoke in old time,
16:19by my servants,
16:20the prophets of Israel,
16:22who prophesied that in those days for years,
16:24I would bring you up against them?
16:28It will happen in that day,
16:31when Gog comes out of the land of Israel,
16:33says the Lord Yahweh,
16:35that my wrath will come up in my nostrils,
16:38for in my jealousy,
16:40and in the fire of my wrath,
16:41I have spoken.
16:43Surely in that day,
16:45there will be a great shaking,
16:46in the land of Israel,
16:48so that the fish of the sea,
16:50the birds of the sky,
16:51the animals of the field,
16:54all things that creep on the earth,
16:56and all the men who are on the surface of the earth,
16:59will shake at my presence.
17:01Then the mountains will be thrown down,
17:04the steep places will fall,
17:06and every wall will fall to the ground.
17:10I will call for a sword against him,
17:12to all my mountains,
17:14says the Lord Yahweh.
17:16Every man's sword will be against his brother.
17:19I will enter into judgment with him,
17:22with pestilence and with blood.
17:24I will rain on him,
17:26and on his hordes,
17:27and on the many peoples who are with him,
17:30an overflowing shower,
17:31with great hailstones fire and sulphur.
17:36I will magnify myself,
17:39and sanctify myself,
17:41and I will make myself known
17:43in the eyes of many nations,
17:46that they will know that I am Yahweh.
17:51This is the word of the Lord.
17:54Thanks be to God.
18:01We praise thee, O God.
18:03We acknowledge thee to be the Lord.
18:06All the earth does worship thee,
18:09the Father everlasting.
18:12To thee all angels cry aloud,
18:15the heavens and all the powers therein.
18:17To thee, cherubim and seraphim,
18:21continually do cry,
18:24Holy, Holy, Holy,
18:26Lord God of Sabael,
18:29heaven and earth are full
18:30of the majesty of thy glory.
18:34The glorious company of the apostles,
18:37praise thee.
18:39The goodly fellowship of the prophets,
18:42praise thee.
18:43The noble army of martyrs,
18:46praise thee.
18:47The holy church throughout all the world
18:50does acknowledge thee.
18:52The Father of an infinite majesty,
18:55thine honourable true and only Son,
18:59also the Holy Ghost,
19:01the Comforter.
19:03Thou art the King of glory,
19:05O Christ.
19:06Thou art the everlasting Son of the Father.
19:11For now tookest upon thee to deliver man
19:14that didst not avail the virgin's womb.
19:18For thou hast overcome the sharpness of death.
19:21Thou didst open the kingdom of heaven
19:24to all believers.
19:27Thou sittest at the right hand of God
19:30in the glory of the Father.
19:32We believe that thou shalt come
19:35to be our judge.
19:37We therefore pray thee,
19:39help thy servants,
19:41whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood.
19:44Make them to be numbered with thy sights,
19:47in glory everlasting.
19:51O Lord,
19:52save thy people and bless thine heritage.
19:55Govern them and lift them up for ever.
19:59Day by day we magnify thee,
20:02and we worship thy name,
20:05ever world without end.
20:08Vow safe, O Lord,
20:09to keep us this day without sin.
20:12Lord,
20:13have mercy upon us,
20:15have mercy upon us.
20:17Lord,
20:18let thy mercy lighten upon us,
20:20as our trust is in thee.
20:23O Lord,
20:24in thee have I trusted,
20:26let me never be confronted.
20:30Glory be to the Father,
20:32and to the Son,
20:32and to the Holy Spirit,
20:34as it was in the beginning,
20:36is now and ever shall be,
20:39world without end.
20:41Amen.
20:46The second epistle to the Corinthians,
20:49chapter 4.
20:53Therefore, seeing that we have this ministry,
20:56even as we obtained mercy,
20:58we don't faint.
21:00But we have renounced
21:01the hidden things of shame,
21:03not walking in craftiness,
21:05nor handling the word of God deceitfully,
21:08but by the manifestation of the truth,
21:12commending ourselves to every man's conscience
21:14in the sight of God.
21:17Even if our good news is veiled,
21:19it is veiled in those who are dying,
21:23in whom the God of this world
21:25has blinded the minds of the unbelieving,
21:28that the light of the good news of the glory of Christ,
21:32who is the image of God,
21:34should not dawn on them.
21:37For we don't preach ourselves,
21:39but Christ Jesus as Lord,
21:42and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake,
21:46seeing it is God who said,
21:49light will shine out of darkness,
21:51who will shine in our hearts
21:54to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
21:57in the face of Jesus Christ.
22:00But we have this treasure in clay vessels,
22:03that the exceeding greatness of the power
22:06may be of God and not from ourselves.
22:10We are pressed on every side,
22:12and yet we are not crushed,
22:15perplexed, yet not to despair,
22:18pursued, yet not forsaken,
22:21struck down, yet not destroyed,
22:25always carrying in the body
22:28the putting to death of the Lord Jesus,
22:30that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
22:35For we who live are always delivered to death
22:39for Jesus' sake,
22:41that the life also of Jesus
22:43may be revealed in our mortal flesh.
22:47So then death works in us,
22:50but life in you.
22:53But having the same spirit of faith,
22:55according to that which is written,
22:57I believed, and therefore I spoke.
23:02We also believe,
23:05and therefore also we speak,
23:07knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus
23:10will also raise us with Jesus,
23:13and will present us with you.
23:17For all things are for your sakes,
23:19that the grace,
23:20being multiplied through the many,
23:22may cause the thanksgiving
23:23to abound to the glory of God.
23:27Therefore we don't faint,
23:29but though our outward man decays,
23:32yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
23:36For our light affliction,
23:38which is for the moment,
23:40works for us more and more exceedingly
23:43an eternal weight of glory.
23:46While we don't look at the things which are seen,
23:49but at the things which are not seen.
23:53For the things which are seen are temporal,
23:55but the things that are not seen are eternal.
24:00This is the word of the Lord.
24:04Thanks be to God.
24:12Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,
24:15for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
24:19and hath raised up a mighty salvation for us
24:22in the house of his servant David,
24:26as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets,
24:29which have since been since the world began,
24:32that we should be saved from our enemies
24:35and from the hand of all that hate us,
24:39to perform the mercy promised to our forefathers
24:43and to remember his holy covenant,
24:46to perform the oath which he swore to our forefather Abraham,
24:51that he would give us,
24:52that would be delivered out of the hand of our enemies,
24:56might serve him without fear,
24:59in holiness and righteousness before him
25:02all the days of our life.
25:05And thou, child,
25:07shall be called the prophet of the highest,
25:09for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord
25:12to prepare his ways,
25:14to give knowledge of salvation to his people
25:17for the remission of their sins,
25:21through the tender mercy of our God,
25:23whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
25:28to give light to them that sit in darkness
25:31and in the shadow of death,
25:33and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
25:38Glory be to the Father and to the Son
25:40and to the Holy Ghost,
25:42as it was in the beginning,
25:44is now and ever shall be,
25:47world without end.
25:48Amen.
25:55I believe in God the Father Almighty,
26:00maker of heaven and earth,
26:02and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
26:05who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
26:08born of the Virgin Mary,
26:10suffered unto Pontius Pilate,
26:13who crucified dead and buried him.
26:15He descended into hell
26:17the third day he rose again from the dead.
26:21He ascended into heaven
26:23and sitteth of the right hand
26:26the God the Father Almighty.
26:28From thence he shall come to judge
26:31the quick and the dead.
26:33I believe in the Holy Ghost,
26:35the holy Catholic Church,
26:38the communion of saints,
26:39the forgiveness of sins,
26:41the resurrection of the body
26:43and the life everlasting.
26:47Amen.
26:50The Lord be with you
26:52and with thy spirit.
26:56Let us pray.
26:59Lord, have mercy upon us.
27:02Christ, have mercy upon us.
27:06Lord, have mercy upon us.
27:11Our Father, which art in heaven,
27:14hallowed be thy name.
27:16Thy kingdom come.
27:18Thy will be done
27:19on earth as it is in heaven.
27:23Give us this day our daily bread
27:25and forgive us our trespasses
27:28as we forgive those who trespass against us.
27:32And lead us not into temptation,
27:35but deliver us from evil.
27:38Amen.
27:41O Lord, show thy mercy upon us
27:44and grant us thy salvation.
27:48O Lord, save the King
27:50and mercifully hear us
27:53when we call upon thee.
27:56Endue thy ministers with righteousness
27:59and make thy chosen people joyful.
28:05O Lord, save thy people
28:08and bless thine inheritance.
28:13Give peace in our time, O Lord,
28:16because there is none other
28:18that fighteth for us
28:19but only thou, O God.
28:24O God, make clean our hearts within us
28:28and take not thy Holy Spirit from us.
28:36The Collect for the 15th Sunday of the Trinity
28:42Keep, we beseech thee, O Lord,
