00:00Well, let me take you to those guys up at South Bend, Notre Dame.
00:03What do you make of those guys this year?
00:05Do you think they have the talent?
00:06And I got to tell you, it's hard for a Miami guy like me,
00:09not to root for Marcus Freeman.
00:11I really like the coach.
00:12I think he's been an upgrade.
00:14I mean, they're over Brian Kelly,
00:16and he's actually put that program at another level, I think.
00:19They're going to be, obviously, that November 7th game with Miami
00:22is going to be a tell-all game.
00:24But where do you see them, Brad?
00:26Well, if you have a quarterback, you've got a chance,
00:28and C.J. Carr is going to be a Heisman candidate,
00:30and he's going to be a star.
00:32You know, losing the two backs they lost, those guys were unbelievable.
00:36But they tell me they got replacements for them.
00:40And I'm with you on Marcus.
00:41He's one of my favorite guys, not just one of my favorite coaches.
00:44I've known him since he and James Laurinaitis were inseparable at Ohio State,
00:48that linebacking core they had.
00:50And I've known those guys forever, and I've seen them socially.
00:53He's done an unbelievable job.
00:55If he wins a national championship,
00:56he might not be Notre Dame's coach next year,
00:59because the NFL really likes him, too.
01:03He's liked by just more than me and you, that's for sure.
01:07Boy, I'll tell you, a spot that I thought that he was going to land at,
01:12and, man, for me, I think he ends up going to the Pittsburgh Steelers
01:16in a couple years and coaching that franchise.
01:18And he's going to be there maybe for another 20 years,
01:23like we saw with what Tomlin and with Cowher and with Noel.
01:26I think he's just a superstar on the horizon.
01:29Hey, 20 seconds.
01:31Are you going to be still in the picture?
01:36Yeah, I think so.
01:37We'll see.
01:38Yeah, I think we'll see how good Josh Hoover is.
01:40But their transfer portal thing's been unbelievable.
01:43And losing the two receivers they lost,
01:45but they got one coming in from Michigan State.
01:47They got the big guy that was there.
01:50You know, possession receiver is going to be a star, I think.
01:53They added big-time depth to the backfield.
01:56Their linebacking core lost one All-American,
01:58but they still got two possible All-Americans there.
02:00Yeah, they're going to be good,
02:02and they're going to be probably 6-0 before you know it,
02:05and then we'll see what happens after that.
