Sylvester Stallone has paid an emotional tribute to Dolly Parton, remembering his Rhinestone co-star as a brilliant, kind and fearless woman who left a lasting impression on everyone around her.

Stallone said Parton’s death affected him deeply, recalling how warmly she treated people on set. “She would come onto the set and say, ‘Hi, y’all’ to every one of the crew members. Everyone loved her,” he said. He also praised her intelligence, calling her “the Pioneer Woman” who could do almost anything to survive.

But Stallone also remembered a wild moment they shared while filming in Tennessee. During a break, the two were placed on a large Tennessee Walking Horse that suddenly stumbled and began rolling, sending them both into the grass.

As they realized they were falling, Stallone recalled asking, “Are we falling?” before answering, “We are falling.”

Despite the frightening accident, Parton reportedly got up laughing and said, “Let’s do that again.”

Stallone ended his tribute with heartfelt words: “I miss you Dolly. I love you. Sad.”

00:00I just heard that Dolly Parton passed away, and this strikes me very hard because I felt
00:07she was a brilliant woman, so outgoing, so nice, she would come onto the set and say
00:12hi y'all to every one of the crew members, everyone loved her. And I don't think people
00:18realize what a brilliant mind she had. She was just incredible. I used to call her the
00:24pioneer woman that could do everything to survive, and she did. And I remember, this is a
00:31crazy story, we were down in Tennessee filming, and when we had a little time off, they took us to
00:38a
00:38horse farm, and down there they bred these Tennessee walking horses that high-stepping, very, very
00:45difficult horse to ride if you don't know what you're doing. So the guy goes, ah, no problem, get
00:51on my favorite gray stallion. So I get on, and he goes, and put Dolly on behind you. I said,
00:57is this
00:58horse used to, like, double-decker? I don't get it, you know? And he goes, no problem. Now, I've ridden
01:05horses all my life, but this thing was gigantic, it's like riding a building. So I said, Dolly, you
01:11okay? Sure I am, honey, go ahead. So I kick the horse, and it starts moving, prancing, then all of
01:17a
01:18sudden, oh, I have to add this, the hoofs are this long. They're not like regular horse
01:22hooves. It's like being on stilts, the horse. That's what gets them to do this. So it taps,
01:30taps, taps, everything is doing well, it sounds beautiful, we look glamorous up there, and then
01:36the horse stubs its toe, it trips, and then we start to roll forward, oh no, it's like everything's
01:44going in slow motion. And Dolly goes, are we falling? I go, we are falling. And this
01:49horse rolled all the way down, and we cascaded off of it, and landed in the grass, and the
01:57horse rolled beside us. Oh my God, we would have been a couple of pancakes. But she got
02:02up laughing, he goes, let's do that again. I went, oh God. So being macho, I said, of course,
02:09I was just waiting for you to ask. I miss you, Dolly. I love you. Sad.
