00:00Minnesota, you better win a few games you're not supposed to win early on in the season
00:05because once they go outdoors, indoor team going outdoors, you know how that usually
00:10works, Tom, especially with Minnesota's defense that I still have a ton of, if you think the
00:15offense is crazy, ah, that was not a very good defensive effort a year ago for Minnesota,
00:21and I don't know that they did a whole lot to improve it.
00:24But they were very underwhelming last year on a lot of sides, and defense, namely, of
00:32what we should expect from the Minnesota Vikings, the defense was the thing that was very underwhelming.
00:38I can understand having growing pains with what I'm going to say last year was our rookie
00:43quarterback, McCarthy, in his first year playing games.
00:46I can understand the growing pains that the offense may go through and just the ups and
00:49downs, but the defense not being the stable, sturdy thing that they can lean on, that was
00:54very, very surprising to me.
00:56And overall, when it comes to their path forward for this season, I'm not sure what path they
01:02have really in the NFC overall.
01:05When we're looking at the odds for conference odds overall, I'm not really excited about where
01:13they sit in the NFC.
01:15We could be seeing two teams come out of the West.
01:17We could be seeing two teams come out of the North, the South probably only getting one
01:21team.
01:21Do we get, you know, two or three out of the East?
01:25We can get at least two potentially with the, so the path forward for the Vikings to make
01:29the playoffs is pretty tough, but their defense has to be vastly improved compared to, compared
01:33to where they were last year.
01:35Yeah.
01:36Yeah.
01:36And then I got, you know, they got wide receivers suspended for substance abuse pot.
01:40Like they are just, it is a mess right now with the Minnesota Vikings, but some winnable
01:46games there, that is for sure.
01:48They can get Kyler Murray up and running sooner rather than later.
