00:00Two stalks of, isn't that good?
00:05It really is.
00:08Okay, here we are.
00:12Bottoms up.
00:15People might harken back to our previous video we showed.
00:19Two videos ago, because I did it still alone.
00:23You're all busy.
00:24Busting out on your own, huh?
00:26Right.
00:26So last time we had this big jug of.
00:29Oh, I'll show you what it looked like.
00:32Except this is different now.
00:34Now we've got something else brewing.
00:35Yeah, but you know what?
00:36This is next week, so we'll give you a sneak preview.
00:39Sneak preview.
00:40Yeah, so.
00:41We showed that.
00:43Sneak preview.
00:43So we take these shots that we've got from, I don't know, Target.
00:48Not Target, actually.
00:50From the container store.
00:53Oh, my God.
00:55Yeah, so tell everyone what's in this one.
00:59What's in this bathroom?
01:00This was your idea.
01:01You guys, this is an insane situation.
01:03This is vodka and cucumber and basil?
01:10No.
01:11Mint, mint, mint, mint.
01:11Not basil.
01:12Mint, cucumber, and watermelon.
01:15Watermelon.
01:16And vodka.
01:17And vodka.
01:17And let me tell you right now, David, taste one of these, because it's just insane.
01:20You look at being drunk.
01:21Did you?
01:22So I'm assuming you did this already.
01:24I did.
01:24Jesus, you break it into the.
01:27Listen.
01:28It still has one more day.
01:30You break into the booze.
01:32Jesus, don't do that.
01:34You're kidding, right?
01:35You're drunk.
01:35No.
01:36You're drunk.
01:37That's crazy.
01:39So we wanted to do a watermelon-infused vodka.
01:42But that's not what we're doing.
01:43But then Lauren was like, let's add cucumber and mint.
01:46So here we go.
01:47So it'll be like a spa treatment.
01:49So tomorrow, yeah, it's going to be our healthy spa day.
01:52Tomorrow we're going to strain this and bottle it.
01:56And then go to the hospital.
01:58That's crazy.
01:58All right?
01:59Exactly.
01:59That's outrageous.
02:00But last time, we had something different in here.
02:05We had bourbon, if you'll remember.
02:09Oh, I do.
02:10We had bourbon and honey and peach and basil.
02:17Basil is the tricky.
02:19Basil is the key.
02:20The key.
02:21Basil adds a nice little peppery flavor that balances out the honey,
02:25the sweetness of the honey.
02:26And then you have the peach.
02:28So we let that sit for 48 hours when we did this.
02:33And then we strained it three times.
02:36I had to strain it three times.
02:37Yeah, you have to do strainers.
02:38I'll show you.
02:39I had to strain it three times.
02:41And then we bottled it.
02:45He's got like a 200, a 120, a 140.
02:49I don't know.
02:50It's like a strain of something.
02:51It takes patience.
02:53But it's worth it in the end.
02:54And then we gave it a, I don't know how clever of a name.
03:01Just peachy.
03:01Just peachy.
03:02But so what we're going to, I'm going to put this next new concoction away.
03:08So what we're going to do now, very simply, now that we have the concoction.
03:14This is the best part because it's super easy.
03:17We're just going to prepare it to drink.
03:20I would just pour it over ice.
03:22So Lauren would just pour it over ice.
03:23But let me get an ice cube.
03:25Are you going to get one of the fancy ones that you just took over here?
03:28I just, I just took out our clear cubes.
03:34And I happen to have a sphere here.
03:37Sphere.
03:37And we're going to put it right in the glass.
03:42Okay.
03:43And what I like to do, I have this mixing glass here.
03:47Yes, I know.
03:48There is a technical name for it, but.
03:51Expensive.
03:52It was like.
03:53Escapes me right now.
03:54It was from Williams and I was almost, okay, whatever.
03:57I'm going to put some, just some ice to stir real quick.
04:00Okay.
04:01I'm going to stir it up.
04:02So the cool thing about this, it's basically just a bottle of old fashioned,
04:06except we have our own flavor and ingredients here.
04:09And it's ready to go now.
04:11It's in the bottle.
04:11I could just pour it in there and drink it.
04:13But a little, a little preparation is always nice.
04:16We're not at a mile.
04:18So we're going to do like just over two ounces.
04:22Pour it in there with a little bit of ice.
04:24Just stir it for a little bit.
04:25I just say that my family, where did we go?
04:28Well, we were at a pool a couple of weekends ago.
04:31A friend, the family pool.
04:33And we decided to bring over this concoction.
04:36The booze hounds in my house, they just went through it.
04:39Because it's an easy pour.
04:40Pour it over ice.
04:41And it's very summery and good.
04:45And then we're just going to pour this very silky, delicious.
04:55Watch it, watch it everybody.
04:57Cameras, cameras, cameras.
05:00Concoction into this, right around the edges of the ice.
05:06You notice, as always, we put the ice in the glass first.
05:11We let it settle.
05:12We don't want the ice cube cracking.
05:14No.
05:14In this case, the sphere.
05:17And then we're going to give it a little, just a little stir inside the glass.
05:23Just a little, just a little.
05:24And then, to really make it nice, smell that, smell it.
05:28You can smell the peach.
05:30Oh, yes.
05:31Isn't that?
05:33Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:34You can smell the bourbon more than the peach.
05:35Okay.
05:36And then we're going to take a nice slice of this orange.
05:39We're going to, of course, express the oils from the skin right into that drink.
05:44You can see it spray right across.
05:46It's very nice.
05:49Get some around the rim there.
05:51It smells so good.
05:53And then we're going to trim it up nice because.
05:56Dave's fastidious.
05:58Just, that's all.
05:58Just make it look, make it look nice.
06:01You made it nice.
06:02Give it a nice trim there.
06:05Nice edges.
06:07And then we're going to just.
06:09Curl it.
06:10Curl that a little bit.
06:11Yeah.
06:12Drop it right in.
06:13And Lauren's going to taste it.
06:16How many peaches did you use?
06:20Per, what do you call these things?
06:22But per container, four peaches.
06:26Two, two stalks of.
06:29Isn't that good?
06:30It really is.
06:31Can you guys.
06:32Basil.
06:3490 grams of honey.
06:39And 750.
06:41No, one liter of bourbon.
06:43Can you taste this and does it taste like juicy fruit to you just really quick?
06:48I hope not.
06:49Juicy fruit's the best.
06:50It smells last long.
06:51It smells so good.
06:56It's such a, it's like silk.
06:58It's like silk.
06:59No, it's not.
07:00It tastes like juicy fruit to me.
07:03But it does taste delicious.
07:05I love juicy fruit.
07:06Maybe we should have got juicy fruit.
07:12Juicy fruit.
07:14Cheers.
07:14Sure, why not?
07:15Bottles up.
07:18It's a lot like juicy fruit.
07:20It doesn't last long.
07:22Yeah.
07:23Yeah.
07:24Yeah.
