00:00Will is your average ugly high schooler enrolled in a magic academy with no magic just because of
00:04good old plot armor? Just as everyone is trying to win glory by becoming the most powerful mage,
00:09Will is in it to lose his V-card with his childhood friend. Everyone at the academy
00:12including the professors makes fun of him. However, Will continues to prove that sometimes
00:16a wand needs a sword. In the capital city, children with a knack for magic are prioritized
00:21in the best magic academy. But does it mean that no talents like our MC with zero affinity for
00:26magic have no chance? The answer is hell no cause of plot armor's interference. On the seventh dungeon
00:31floor will battle strong monsters with a sword to collect extracurriculum points. It would have
00:36been so much easier if Will was a girl but men have to work for things. He wants to do
00:40whatever it takes
00:41to school the magic duchess in his class by playing match. In class, a student explains that channeling
00:46a tiny bit of magic into the bulk ore creates a chemical reaction. The sulfur produced from it can
00:50be used as a catalyst to conjure beautiful flames. Professor Edward compliments him for being right
00:55and wants someone to demonstrate the procedure. He picks Will despite knowing his balls have dried
00:59up of magic juices. However, he is dozing off in class thinking who's going to be the next president
01:03of United States. Edward calls out his name multiple times to wake him up. He asks the professor to
01:08repeat the explanation. But Edward can't give one fudge about him. He just wants him to come down on
01:12his knees and demonstrate the art of earning extra points. Edward's condescending claims is a simple
01:17process. He just needs to transfer a little bit of magic and the fire will be lit. Will applies his
01:22full
01:22concentration on the spell but can't produce any results. Moments later, the professor clicks his
01:26tongue, making the whole class laugh. He silences the class, expressing his disbelief that their
01:31institute allows a no-show like him to study magic. He believes that note-taking bookworms are only good
01:36for doing grunt work. He deems him entirely beyond help. At that moment, a fellow six-year student
01:41Sion casts a basic fire spell to light up the torch. Edward reminds him that casting without permission
01:46is prohibited in their class. Sion, the arrogant brat who thinks of himself as god, excuses himself for
01:51this behavior, saying his pal needed a light. Edward casts dark-lighting magic to crystallize the flames.
01:57But more so, he intends to make a point. He reminds everyone that magic is more important than cup size.
02:02Magic is the supreme authority, giving esteemed status to those with innate talent. The rest can stay
02:07in the hallways and clean like a good little janitor. Later in the hallway, Sion is lackey, a normal
02:11cliche of every bully's stop will from crossing the road. They are about to drop nukes on his ass,
02:15but his knight in shining armor Colette comes between them. Sion wants her to join the party
02:20and bully him. However, she walks up to him like a gangster, claiming Will is more kind than he can
02:25ever be. She tells him to stop bullying her friend, making his face go nuts. Sion suggests bringing back
02:30her friend from Will to land. He reminds them that Will can never be a mangio vendor. Colette feels bad
02:35for him having to experience Edward's class. However, he is glad that a cute girl like her is worrying
02:40about him. She freaks out at his flattery and claims it won't get him anywhere. But the way she's acting,
02:44I believe Will is going to get lucky tonight. He claims that a jiggachat taught him to compliment
02:48girls whenever the chance comes. She tells him to shut up before her fist flats his face.
02:53All of a sudden, Will silently watches the tower in the center of the city. Colette is worried
02:58about this sudden change and asks what has happened. Will says the sky is looking as beautiful as ever.
03:02They can't believe the five magia vanders hold up the sky on a daily basis. Long ago,
03:07beings known as celestial hosts threaten humanity's existence and fill the world with darkness.
03:12Five mages stood up in defiance to push back the threat. They created a barrier to lift up the sky.
03:17These five mages were given the highest honorary title for a mage known as Mangia Vander. Every
03:22magician alive dreams of achieving this glory at least once in their life. Colette wonders if the
03:26ice maiden is currently watching them. He assures her that she is watching from the window. The year
03:30before, Will's childhood friend Elferia told him about giant orbs called the sun and moon orbiting the
03:35real sky. But she was most intrigued by a sunset. At that time, both made a promise to become
03:40Mangia Vander's and watch the sunset together. Elferia took that little promise made on a whim
03:44seriously. With her talent, she became the youngest Mangia Vander and climbed up the tower. However,
03:50his talents can't even be considered mediocre. But his determination to fulfill his promise is undying.
03:55After the break, Professor Worker shouts at Will, asking if he's gone nuts. He went to the dungeon
03:59without permission and fought on the seventh floor. Still, after reviewing the materials from the monster,
04:03Worker grants him two credits, lifting up his mood. The professor asks if he's still hell-bent on becoming
04:09Mangia Vander. Will counters his question, asking if it's really as bad as people say.
04:13Worker gives it to him straight, explaining he needs to advance to the upper institute before
04:17aiming to become a Mangia Vander. To graduate, you must have superior credits from written work,
04:21spell work, and practicals. Despite understanding the situation, Will insists on earning credits from
04:26practicals alone. Ultimately, Worker realizes that trying to reason with Will is like crying on deaf ears.
04:32He tells Will that he needs to gather four credits before the end of the week. Seconds later,
04:35he realizes that the week will end in two days. He sits down on his knees to look for a
04:39monster
04:39that is worth four credits. Worker thinks out loud, naming a monster worth four credits that
04:44Will hasn't defeated before. Unbeknownst to them, Cheyenne hears about the monster and decides to
04:48kill the monster before Will can get to it. He will finally get rid of the boy who has tarnished
04:52the
04:52reputation of their academy. On the other hand, Will enters the sixth floor of the dungeon with
04:57Kiki by his side. The cat isn't sure about him fighting up Baskerville. However, he assures Kiki that
05:02he won't get burnt like the last time. In the meantime, Cheyenne and his two lackeys are focused
05:06on taking out the Baskerville to expel Will. One of them asks if they have protection in their pockets.
05:11Cheyenne reminds him that top geese like him don't need safety precautions. He plans to use his search
05:15spell to find the beast. Suddenly, a giant monster with insane speed appears in front of them, scaring
05:20the two lackeys away. Will overhears their scream and immediately follows the sound. Judging from the
05:26activation, he assumes they are not far. Upon reaching the scene, he finds a 10 credit evil sentient
05:30bullying a child. He doesn't know why the evil sentinel moved up several floors. He then glances
05:35at the human who ends up being Cheyenne. He constantly casts fire magic at the thing. However,
05:40Will knows that his measly attacks can't do shit against a high level monster. As the monster gets
05:45close to Cheyenne, it dawns on him that Cheyenne might die. Will realizes he needs to step up and
05:49save him. At that moment, he remembers all the times Cheyenne and his friend bullied him. He asked
05:54himself if it's really necessary to save a scumbag like him. Seconds later, he remembers that Elferia
05:58called him the kindest person in the world. He wants to be someone worthy who can stand beside
06:02her. Despite being a no-talent in magic, he wants to be her sword. Will steps onto the battlefield and
06:07saves Cheyenne's ass from getting squashed. He pushes back the monster's feet away from Cheyenne.
06:12Using his muscle strength, Will goes on the offensive and strikes its shell. The impact from
06:16the strike destroys the ground underneath them. Back on the surface, Edward rushes to Worker's
06:21office in the middle of the night. No, he's not a fan of BL manga. He reveals that Cheyenne and
06:25his
06:25piece of work council of dustbags went into the dungeon without authorization. He stands up in
06:30disbelief that an elite student can pull such a stunt. Edward reveals they are on the sixth floor
06:34and asks Worker to send his familiar inside. Upon hearing this, he calms down, telling Edward there
06:39is no need to panic. He activates his spying orb, revealing that Will is on the same floor as them.
06:44Meanwhile, in the dungeon, the impact from Will's sword and the monster's fangs clashing destroy the
06:49sixth floor. He spins around the monster to create momentum and cut down its horn. The monster,
06:54angered, pushes him away. Utilizing the distance, the monster throws rocks at him from the destroyed
06:58floors. However, Will slices through the stones before it even hits the ground. He then sneaks
07:03attacks from above, landing a fatal blow. Cheyenne is watching this battle from the front row seat,
07:07but still can't believe it. He wonders if he is the same Will surf for it from before. Even Edward
07:12can't believe his eyes. That is when Worker states that Will is totally different from them.
07:17As the battle continues, Worker explains that Will possesses the robust body of a dwarf.
07:21His observation skills can read enemy patterns after seeing them once. He demonstrates this move
07:26by countering an attack that the monster used before. He heavily damages the monster, making it
07:30furious. Worker claims that in a world full of wands, Will is a lone sword. As the monster unleashes
07:35its fire breath, he reveals his true power. Will cuts through the magic attack with his special sword.
07:40The slash of his sword is like a bolt of lightning, defeating his enemies in an instant. When the smoke
07:45clears up, he asks if Cheyenne is injured in any way. He lets out his frustration by biting on his
07:49tongue and
07:50making it bleed. On the other hand, Edward slams the table with full force. He refuses to believe
07:55that a boy with no magic can somehow transcend it. Worker tries to stop him, but his efforts are
08:00fruitless. Upon returning to the surface will get scolded by Professor before getting the 10 credits
08:04from defeating the monster. Five years earlier will seem like your average man who can't get any action.
08:09The background NPCs gossiped about Will's lack of magic power. Some think it was just a rumor. But the
08:14majority knows the fact to be true. He is just a bait to lure Elferia to join the academy. However,
08:19they think he should be expelled since she climbed the tower and became the youngest Magyavander.
08:23He walks to the principal's office with a sad look, telling everyone that it is his last day
08:27in the school. Professor Worker stands in the room as a mediator between Will and Cauldron,
08:31the principal. She waves her wand and hands him a sword made of special metal that can cut through
08:36magic. Unexpectedly, a new Will wakes up in him as he cuts through all the magic circles cast by Cauldron.
08:41Worker is so taken aback by his performance that his legs give out and his mouth is left open.
08:45In the meantime, Cauldron laughs at the unique thing they have in their hands.
08:49She decides to allow them to continue studying at the academy despite his shortcomings. Shocked,
08:54Worker repeats what she just said and asks if age is fudging up her mind. He reminds her that Will
08:58can't use any magic like Zero. She claims her eyes are not done yet. In fact, she has never heard
09:03of
09:03anything before. Will interrupts their conversation to shower them with questions. He asks if ascending
09:08the tower will be possible if he studies at the academy. With a quavering voice, he asks if becoming
09:12strong can help him join Elferia at the top of the tower. Cauldron explains that his dreams will
09:17come true but only if he is diligent and firm against daunting experiences. Only then he can
09:22reach the top of the tower. He tightly holds the sword, taking Cauldron words to heat. After he leaves,
09:27she asks Worker to keep a close eye on him like a godfather. She is eager to see his sword's
09:31journey to becoming a wand. Back in the present, Will sniffs on chocolate in Willy Worker's class.
09:36The lecture today is about ascending the tower which means attending the upper academy.
09:40Only those can become Magivanders, the topmost honor a mage can achieve at the top of the tower
09:44mercies Kallus. There are only two ways a mage can obtain this rank. First, they must create a new
09:50type of magic not known by humanity. Second, they must earn 72,000 credit points. Worker reveals that
09:55the majority of mages ascend with the first option, while there are only a minority that can earn 70,000
10:00credits. At this point, his class has no chance of graduating. Ascending the tower is a far-fetched
10:06dream. And so, he will drill them in his supplementary class, making everyone sob.
10:10After classes, Will is like his soul will slip away from the mortal realm without any warning.
10:15Colette can't believe Worker whacked them into taking supplementary. He informs her that Worker
10:19made them take full mock exams and instructed them on exams. She reminds him that his writing
10:23credits are at its max. But Will is falling behind because of no talent in spell work.
10:28However, failing in one subject doesn't mean he should not study it. Moments later,
10:32they find Sian and his lackeys talking about him defeating an evil sentinel. He explains the
10:36whole scene from start to finish. The mob thinks that Sian standing in the academy will reach the
10:40top three most talented students. However, he knows that everything is just a scam. It's like
10:45taking pics of a studio and saying it's a private jet. To add fire to his fuel, he sees Will
10:49and
10:50Colette pass by him. He makes his way through the mob, grabbing his collar. He wants to know how a
10:54talentless brat like him does something like that. Before his sentence can finish, Colette intervenes,
10:59forcing him to stop bullying the weak. On the other hand, Edward enters the principal's office
11:03to request Will's expulsion from the academy. She does not understand his reasons to expel him
11:07when he's successfully reached his sixth and final year. Why should she knock him off this far in the
11:12game? As he puts it, the academy doesn't need a warrior who's not a mage. Plus, he can somehow
11:16surpass magic without using it. She opens Will's previous performance record sharing his unrivaled
11:21written scores with Edward. She also believes that his research sheds light on a unique perspective.
11:25He excels to such a degree that calling it mere excellence is insulting. There are many paths
11:30open for him in the future. The academy has the responsibility of producing learned scholars
11:34for that fateful day. Edward reminds him that Will won't settle for some run-in-the-mill scholar
11:38position. He wants to become an imagiovander. On that note, she allows him to test Will to his
11:43heart's content. The contents and extremism of the test is up for him to decide. As he leaves,
11:48she thinks to herself that Edward knows imagiovanders best. At the same time, Will hides his sword with
11:53Colette's help. She comments on him never changing a bit. He takes the insult as a compliment,
11:57of course. Plus, the officials won't let them carry a sword on campus. And his roommate,
12:02Rusty, won't let him out without some nuts. Later in the library, they won't diligently study
12:05about the Battle of Garzaranso from the Magic Year 344. The dwarves were erased from another world
12:11who were pissed because of exploitation, overwork, and worse treatment than the elves. The dwarves' army
12:16was 10,000 in comparison. The tower only sent one mage. Colette wonders why Will is studying so
12:21hard when his written exam's credits are perfect. He wants to revise everything to ensure no credit
12:25is lost. Morseau understands what the dwarves felt. The statement never give up gives him
12:30determination that can surpass magic. She immediately realizes that this sob line is from Workner.
12:35He kept trying to make his tool up and running and still is in the trying phase.
12:38As they have fun in the library, Edward invaded their privacy, telling them to book a room.
12:43Nonsense aside, he asks Will to come to the spell training room alone.
12:46She didn't know Edward had that type of fetishes. On his way to the hall, Edward reminds him that he's
12:51flunking spell class. He will give him a personal lesson, a supplementary only for himself.
12:55The two stand face to face with silence in the air. Ember casts his dark lightning spell,
12:59destroying an area near his foot. He says that Will's assignment is to land a single hit on him.
13:04He will gain five spell work credit for completing his task otherwise will be expelled,
13:08leaving him shocked. During this time, Worker knocks on the principal's door, answering her summons.
13:13After entering, he finds a giant orb playing Will's and Edward's match on live.
13:16She explains that Edward is conducting a test. Just as she valued his plea for Will to continue
13:21studying, she must consider Edward's worry for Will pursuing a delusion. Worker doesn't have a
13:26problem with the test but the person taking the test. Cauldron forces him to speak his mind.
13:30He reveals that Edward is the closest thing to a Magiavander. Sure, he lost before becoming one.
13:35But that doesn't mean he isn't an ascendant. Back in the spell hall, Edward casts a low level dark
13:40magic spell. However, Will is unable to comprehend this spell's outlandish power. He leaps in from the
13:45side using his superior speed to land a flying kick. Unfortunately, Edward has casted a shield
13:50on himself. He claims that trying to break a magic shield with his leg is laughable.
13:54He sends him flying with a simple spell. Will can barely open his eyes at this moment.
13:58Edward's casting speed is so fast that he can counter his attack. Plus, the last attack was fatal,
14:03making him cough up blood. As he tries to gather himself, Edward declares he is going to use two
14:08spells. His flames burn him to ash and his shield to stop his laughable kicks. With that said,
14:12he casts a magical series overlapping a single casting circle multiple times. Will realizes he
14:17is going to attack with a barrage of dark flames. The attack hits him directly, pushing him back a
14:22few feet. He realizes that beating someone like Edward without his sword is impossible.
14:26Luckily, Colette is organizing her locker because there is nothing better to do. She wonders how the
14:31lesson is going. Naturally, she assumes that Edward is forcing Will to give him head or he might be
14:36fulfilling his spanking fetish. Suddenly, Kiki arrives on the scene injured due to the dark flames.
14:40He points at the sword locker, telling her that Will is dangerous. Meanwhile, Edward states that
14:45Maggio Vander is the pinnacle of magic while his skills are not even mediocre. As he approaches Will's
14:50lifeless body, he reminds him about the battle of Garzaranso. He reveals that the dwarves rebelled with
14:54an army of 10,000. He asks Will how many mages were sent by the tower. He tries to get
14:59up and answer the
15:00question, but Edward steps on his head, saying there was only one mage. Despite this, Will doesn't lose hope
15:05of winning. He grabs his leg, forcing him to move. At this point, Edward is confused as to what noble
15:10reason Will holds in his heart that drives him. He tightly holds his heart and says he wants to
15:14stand whom he loves with all his heart. He will fulfill the promise made with Elferia to watch the
15:18sunset. Shocked to death, he can't believe that Will is aiming to reach the pinnacle of magic just
15:23for some worldly love. But he can't give one shits about what Edward thinks. At that moment,
15:27Colette rushes to the scene and gives him the blade. Edward attacks with killing intent,
15:31but Will slices through the attack. He casts a barrage of spells. Instead of running away despite
15:36his hands and feet shaking, Will knows that passing through the flames is his only option of winning.
15:40During his run, Will explains there is more to the battle of Garzaranso than what people know.
15:44The legendary dwarf commander landed a hit on the mage, making him acknowledge.
15:48The sword did reach a wand even for one second. He uses the smoke from the attack to launch a
15:52powerful
15:53strike from Edward's blind and overhead. His power is enough to break the shield and land a hit.
15:57Edward doesn't say a word except rewarding him with the five spell credits and leaves.
16:01On the other hand, Cauldron laughs her lungs out complimenting Will's power.
16:0410 years ago on that day, Elferia was going to the upper institute. Will was following her like a
16:09loser. She turns to him reminding him that he's the kindest person in the whole world.
16:12This is something that she will always know. With that said, she says goodbye and turns her back to
16:17him. Soon, Will's emotionally damaged brain catches up to the fact his V card is going away.
16:22He promises never to give up trying to climb the tower. He will definitely stand beside her even if there
16:27is no magic potion left in his balls. His words tear through her heart but Elferia keeps walking
16:32to hide her emotions from Will. But then, he says they will watch the sunset together, making her
16:36stop. Elferia didn't realize he would remember the childhood promise. She turns with tears in her
16:41eyes, promising to wait for him no matter how many years it takes. After he leaves, Professor
16:45Workner intends to say a few consolation words. However, he overhears him sobbing. Will makes a promise
16:51to himself, saying it's the last time when he will cry aloud with a miserable voice. In the present,
16:55Will, the no-talent, overachiever book learner is a self-sustained student at the academy.
16:59He wakes up early to deliver newspapers in the local area. The citizens began liking him for
17:04his work ethic and polite attitude. They are eager to see him return to Janna's place for his part-time
17:08job. He quickly rushes to deliver the remaining newspaper and heads to the academy. On his way,
17:13Will stumbles on the stairs, dropping all the newspapers. However, he pulls a flash stunt to
17:17gather everything. He notices that Elferia, the Alvis Vina, is on the front page for inventing a new magic.
17:23With this, she has invented 12 original spells, a feat no mage has ever achieved in history.
17:28Suddenly, Will reads a request made from the upper academy to collect ice cores from frost walkers.
17:33Unexpectedly, the client is Elferia herself, which gets his juices overflowing.
17:36He returns to his dorm to ask Rosti for some new magic gear. He excitedly tells him about the
17:41order Elferia made. She asks him about classes. But Will says there aren't any today. He will visit
17:46the fourth floor to collect ice cores from frost walkers. For that, he needs her top tools,
17:50which are custom made. After collecting his items, Will leaves for the dungeon.
17:54He reveals that the great ancestor, Queen Mage Mercedes said everything came from the dungeons.
17:58She told the future generation to venture into the unknown with knowledge and wisdom.
18:02She wanted them to conquer the unknown along their path. According to her, everything is
18:06connected from top to bottom. On that note, Will makes his way onto the fourth floor. There he finds
18:10half of the academy who whack off every night on Elferia's pictures, firing off shots everywhere.
18:15He then notices Cheyenne blasting off frost walkers left and right. His lackeys butter him up as usual,
18:20claiming he's the best mage in town. However, Cheyenne knows his performance isn't enough to reach
18:25Will's level during his fight with the evil Sentinel. Will senses his bloodlust overflowing like his
18:30juices, realizing there will be no monsters left in the area for him. He rushes deeper into the fourth
18:34floor to find powerful frost walkers. Unexpectedly, Will finds a low-level monster preying on a young
18:40girl. He quickly steps into battle mode and kills the ostrich with multiple sword slashes.
18:44The girl can't believe he just used a sword instead of magic. Iris introduces herself as
18:49the girl who often bites more than she can chew. On the other hand, Worker explains that creating your
18:54own spell is a great achievement. It is so great that the mage advances to the top of the tower
18:58without any further requirements. The entire class knows that this only sounds easy. However,
19:03inventing a new spell is not a joke. Rose wants to know about Worker's thoughts on the news this
19:07morning. He claims that creating 12 original spells made her the best mage in human history.
19:12She asks if Colette is jealous because Will's going to the dungeon for Alferia. Worker scolds
19:16them for causing a commotion while the class is still in process. But she's still worried about
19:20Will's intentions for stepping into the dungeon. Back in the dungeon, she asks if he's the senior from
19:25the sixth year who can't use magic, making him the first of his time. Will finds it odd that someone
19:29like Iris would call him a senior. However, she wants to respect the person who just saved her life.
19:34She wants to help fulfill the upper academy's order and help them keep the sky from falling.
19:39Will reveals that Iris is not exaggerating her claims. The sky they are under is not real.
19:43It is just a barrier in the sky held by the power magic of the Mangiavanders.
19:47According to the lore, the world will be plunged into darkness once again when the sky falls.
19:51That is the day the calamity will be upon them. They are learning the order not because everyone
19:55admires the Mangiavanders but because they want to help them keep the barrier running.
19:58On their way, Iris mentions that she has met with Alferia once before.
20:02One day, she was surrounded by a horde of monsters ready to devour her.
20:05At that point, offering her body to them was the only option. But Alferia saved her in the nick of
20:10time from getting eaten. Afterward, they talked about a lot of things like boys and the ways they
20:14try to get inside their tunnel. With that said, she dedicated her life to Alferia. Upon hearing of
20:19the order, she got so excited and unintentionally ventured deep into the fourth floor. However,
20:23after looking around, she realizes that most of the students have already cleaned out the area.
20:27Even her search spell can't pick up anything in the area. At the same time,
20:31Will goes down onto his knees and starts observing the area. Iris, a magic user, can understand what
20:36he is doing. He claims that frost walkers leave ice shards when walking. Most of them are between 0.5
20:41and 1 mile wide. However, this is double the size. This means that there is a colossal size of a
20:47head.
20:48Iris can understand how a non-magic sure can sniff out such details when her search spell isn't working.
20:52He explains that magic is great and all, but it is not absolute, especially in the dungeon.
20:57He can match magic users with knowledge, wisdom, and experience. Iris is shocked that experience
21:02can be a factor in survival. As these words are uttered from her mouth, a giant frost walker jumps
21:07out of the cave and attacks him. Will is forced to jump out of the way with Iris. The frost
21:12walker lets
21:12out a huge yawn, freezing the surrounding area. Iris knows that Frost Rex is an advanced
21:17subspecies of the frost walker lineage. It is a monster that is worth 6 credit points. At the same
21:22time, the monster attacks with its ice breath, freezing everything in its path. Will carries Iris
21:27out of the way and tells her to stay put in one place. She tells it not to act recklessly
21:31as the
21:31monster is too strong for him. Physical attacks don't work on the monster. This is the reason the
21:36monster is known as the Dwarf Killer. The only way to defeat it is to use long drainage magic,
21:41otherwise the monster will freeze him to death. Will tells her not to worry as he has defeated this
21:45monster many times. It leaps into attack, making the monster unleash his breath attack once again.
21:49However, Will masterfully slides underneath the monster to take advantage of his blind spot.
21:54Not knowing where he is, the monster launches a rapid fire attack at the cave ceiling,
21:58hoping he will get hit by the rubble. Iris is forced to save herself from the rubble and take
22:02shelter behind an ice wall. She sees Will taking advantage of the smoke and rubble to hide his
22:06movements. He masterfully runs behind the monster and launches the magic item at him. He then goes back
22:11and forth, wrapping it around the tightrope. The monster constantly unleashes breath attacks,
22:16but Will continues wrapping the wire around it. He knows that physical attacks don't work on him as
22:20the Frost Rex's only weakness is fire. And since explosives are also made of fire, this means that
22:25Will can defeat it with ease. He lights up the fire which travels around its body, enraging in flames.
22:29The moment the fire hits the explosives, it causes the monster to burn to ashes,
22:33giving him a flawless victory. Afterward, the wires from Rorty's magic tool retract automatically,
22:38making it a magic tool with creativity. Iris is shocked by his performance on the battlefield and
22:43wonders what it would be like in bed. She goes all dark and bitchy when assessing his powers.
22:47As it turns out, the note talent is something else entirely. There is a big difference between the
22:51rumors and reality. But reporting this find is the real problem. Suddenly, Will tells her about
22:56finding the core which completes their mission on the fourth floor. On top of the tower, Iris walks
23:01in the hallway assessing his talents with more detail. She realizes that Will makes up for the lack
23:05of magic power with creativity and ingenuity. Not to mention, his battle sense is something that can
23:10only be obtained by tremendous experience. She opens her hair and concludes that Will is indeed
23:14not a mage but a very talented warrior. Before entering the main room, she apologizes for intruding.
23:20Inside, she asks the Mangiavandards for a moment of their time. She asks if her presence in the room
23:24is disturbing them. Carriott Wiseman takes on a condescending tone, claiming it's just the
23:28insignificant meaning that makes her skin crawl. They are usually busy with keeping the barrier from
23:32getting breached and the world from being destroyed. Seo claims that the celestial hosts outside the
23:37barrier are just watching them peacefully from the other side. He is worried that they don't have
23:40the numbers or strength to fight them head on. Eleanor mentions that they need more elite images for
23:44the fateful day. They can't allow the lore to become a reality. Zeo cuts to the chase, asking how
23:49things are on the Watcher's end. Did she find anyone worth spending their time on? She reveals that an
23:55interesting prospect came up in her search. He can't use magic, but is an impeccable warrior. Some of the
24:00Magiavandards instantly refuse this idea but Zeo will train anyone as long as they are good. In the end,
24:05they decide to wait until the upcoming Grand Magic Festival, hoping that the talented ones will rise
24:09up from the masses and leave the trash behind. The Regarden Magic Academy has conditions for
24:13qualifying for the Upper Institute. Marble candidates must obtain 7,000 out of the 12,000 total credit
24:18points in the academy to advance. That is the one absolute condition of becoming a Magiavander.
24:23In the training hall, students are required to defeat Stone Golem to get credits and spell work.
24:28Cheyenne casts his signature Flame Magic Crim's Served to annihilate the Golems. Colette uses the rubble
24:33from his attack in addition to Earth Magic's steer Viola to crush her enemies into nothingness.
24:38The teacher announces that both have passed the test. Cheyenne with 9,889 credits and Colette with
24:447,340 credit score. In the meantime, Will is busy dodging the Golem's attack. Without his sword,
24:50he can't do shit against it. Still, he instinctively rushes in from its side and prepares to punch it in
24:54the guts. The other students on the sideline who love backseat driving ask what he is doing. They can't
24:59believe that a student from the Magical Academy was planning to throw a punch. They tell them to use
25:03his wands. These insults from the side distract Will, giving the Golem a chance to sweep his bum
25:07away. This gives them even more chances to taunt him. These thugs describe the whole situation again,
25:13saying they expect nothing less from a book learner who is an eternal failure. After having a quick laugh,
25:18everyone directs their attention toward Lehanna Owensos, one of the top three at the academy. She casts
25:23Sages Leo, creating arrows from lightning. At the same time, the elf Wagnolinder casts Wind Magic.
25:28Lehanna's arrows pierce through the Golem's armor, rendering his mobility useless. She then
25:32simultaneously casts another banger to destroy it. Meanwhile, Wagnol's spell is on the elegant side.
25:38It creates a whirlwind, destroying its target mercilessly. Then comes the third member,
25:42Julius Reinberg, with over 10 credits, enters the competition with his ice magic. He suddenly casts
25:47his icy roses that take root in the Golem's armor. Moments later, as the flower blooms beautifully,
25:52all of the Golems are turned to ice. Unexpectedly, he also freezes the Golems that were meant to test
25:57other candidates. At this point, Lehanna realizes that both Julius and Wagnol have lost touch.
26:02He reminds her that the revel is drawing near, and so losing their touch isn't an option.
26:06Julius walks up to them and declares his intent of the war. He expects that the two of them will
26:10accept a gift from him before that. However, Wagnol slices the rose into pieces with wind slashes.
26:16Things don't stop there as Lehanna takes out her anger by flashing it with lighting. Will realizes that
26:20these three will surely advance to the upper realm. However, his chances are close to none,
26:24since his credit scores are a little over 5k. The three of them walk past him and Julius tells
26:29him to stay away from his path. That is when one of the students claims that they will be scouted
26:33at
26:33the Grand Magic Festival. This makes him realize that it's at that time of the year already.
26:37In the cafeteria hall, Colette slams the food on the table, saying we must enter the Grand Magic
26:42Festival. She thinks that advancing on credits from writing and practice alone will get him nowhere.
26:47Plus, the scouts at the Grand Magic Festival choose individuals for their talent and not credit score.
26:51Will agrees with her reasoning. However, he knows that everyone is trying to turn things around
26:55with this one shot. And so they are all out for blood. He explains that a number of competitions
26:59are held in the Grand Magic Festival. Not only that, high mages descend from the tower to hunt for new
27:04talents. Despite his hesitation, Colette thinks that this is his only chance to advance to the upper academy.
27:09She reminds me that there are major factions up there. The Lightning Lord's Wand Forzeus Fass,
27:14the Scared Elf's Wand Elif Cannon, the Flame Emperor's Wand Incindia Barham, the Ice Maiden's Wand
27:20Albus Veena, and the Light Sovereign's Wand Mysterious Noah. She claims that his life will be
27:25sorted if one of the five factions chooses him. This will also give him a chance to showcase his
27:29true powers and change people's opinions about him. He truly appreciates her worrying over him.
27:34However, he thinks that his participation in the Grand Magic Tournament would just make it a regular
27:37sports event. Plus, the things that happened three years ago still haunt him. Colette knows that the
27:4250th Grand Magic Festival was named the worst of all time. Will says that getting over those
27:46memories has been hard for him. Later in the evening near the locker room, they find students
27:50practicing for the Grand Magic Festival. Colette emphasizes this point heavily, claiming scouts from
27:55other departments will also be picking students at the festival. He can vouch for other parts if the
27:59scouts from the tower don't choose him. However, Will already told her that it ain't happening.
28:03He can't use magic and that's that. On that note, she forgets about him ever joining the
28:07tournament and goes by her day. Moments later, she notices a barrier spell on the trapdoor.
28:11She can easily break the barrier by force. However, the bang will catch everyone's attention.
28:17Unexpectedly, Kiki uses her abilities to dismantle the barrier without a sound,
28:20revealing stairs that go down. They find an underground gambling operation held by backbenchers.
28:25Colette can't believe that they are running an operation where the teacher doesn't pay much
28:28attention. Unexpectedly, they find Sion at the event watching quietly from above.
28:33He shouts at Will for invading his privacy. Suddenly, Colette comes between them, telling them to shut his
28:38trap. Now we'll ask him about his purpose since he's not betting. His two lackeys speak up, saying
28:43Cheyenne would do nothing like that. It's completely not like he is worried about the
28:46spread between him and the top three. Plus, the thought of them ignoring him never crossed his mind
28:51even for once. At this point, Cheyenne tells them to shut up before they strip him make it in front
28:56of
28:56the chick. Colette teases him about being scared of letting the spotlight go beyond him. Cheyenne claims
29:01that his credit scores are almost comparable to the top three. He just lost a few credits on writing.
29:05Still, he has been working hard ever since that incident with Will. And so these magic skills
29:09are comparable to them. But he doesn't understand why the hell his lips are running and explaining
29:13himself to them. After finishing spell brewing class, everyone closes their books wanting to
29:18escape from the jail. Will wakes up Kiki a leave. At the same time, Colette stops him and asks if
29:23he is
29:23free for the day. She wants to explore the dungeon with him. However, Will apologizes as he needs to
29:28complete his shift at Jinnah's tavern. Her tavern lies in the slump area where the exploited dwarves come
29:33daily to quaff their alcohol. The sounds of their laugh make Will work there every day.
29:38Jenna cooks her few meals and asks Will to serve them. The dwarves are pretty chill with Will at
29:42this point, especially Donna who gets hand-delivered newspapers for him every day. He pities Will for
29:46working hard every day. He reminds him that someone with his magical talent can't get any scholarships.
29:52Dona knows that the Grand Magic Festival is coming up. He tells Will that his situation will be much
29:56better if he's in that. At that point, Jenna tells him to quit chit-chatting and get back to work.
30:00She thinks that his buddy is working much harder than him. Unexpectedly, Rosti is filling in to help
30:06Will with the dinner rush. He accidentally bumps into her and apologizes for putting her through
30:10so much work. Although she thinks that working without magic is a fresh experience, it makes
30:14her understand how the people on the other side live. Moments later, Jinnah asks him to bring a few
30:19other part-timers just like Rosti. But the dwarves think that Will deserves a pay raise as he works twice
30:23as hard. Back in a washing area, Rosti mentions that Will receives a low wage from Jinnah. He can probably
30:29ask Professor Worker for a better job. He is sure that he will arrange something. Will knows he would
30:33be troubling him more than he already has is not his style. Still, there is more to it than pay.
30:38He loves working with the dwarves. Their incredible hard work earns his undying respect.
30:43A spoon falls from the Tower of Dishes, forcing me to duck down and pick it up. At that moment,
30:48Julius walks into the tavern with his lackeys. He immediately hates the vibes of the whole place.
30:52But his lackey claims that this is the only tavern open in town. At that moment, Will catches his eyes.
30:57He can't believe that the no-talent works there. He laughs super hard that the no-talent is fitting
31:01in with the smelly dwarves. Donna wants to pay him respect for the insults at Will,
31:05but the other dwarves stop him, knowing the consequences. Julius takes on a condescending
31:10tone while talking to Donan. He asks what that look in his eyes is. He doesn't shy away from
31:14reminding them that they are immigrants from another world. He tells him to remember his place.
31:19Unfortunately, Donan can't say anything because they have no rights. Moving on from that,
31:22he takes a seat like he owns the place. During this time, Will explains that the dwarves migrated
31:27to their world when the celestial hosts destroyed theirs. Julius continues talking in the same tone
31:32even when asking for food and drinks. However, Will ignores him and continues explaining that the
31:36dwarves are looked down upon unlike the elven nation. In their world, magic is the supreme authority.
31:42If a dwarf laid a hand on the elves, their status in this world would be diminished. He thinks that
31:46the
31:46beans are grown from the barren soil which the dwarves culmate with their wisdom. Their sweat is
31:51proof of their endless hard work and the harshest of conditions. He claims that these are not things
31:54to be made fun of, not even by one of the top three at the Magic Academy. Still, Julius doesn't
31:59listen to one thing. He laughs at No Talens clicking the dwarf's foot for some change. He places his foot
32:04on the table, sayings calling them eyesores. He then kicks the plate of beans. It falls on his shirt,
32:09but Will refuses to flinch at the situation. His glare angers the two lackeys, making them get up from
32:14their seats to teach him a lesson. Unexpectedly, Will grabs them by the collar and slams them into the table.
32:18The impact causes the drinks to fall on Julius's face and hair. He has never been humiliated like
32:23this in a while. Julius casts his magic abilities, freezing everything with his ice magic. Will tries
32:29to dodge his attacks, but where he steps the ice spikes catch him. Eventually, he is forced to break
32:33the ice with his bare foot. However, Julius pushes him back against the wall, freezing his limbs. Still,
32:39the look in his eyes doesn't change, which makes him change his mind. He decides that freezing him in
32:43a tavern is no fun. He wants to defeat him at the Grand Magic Festival and leave the academy when
32:47he loses.
32:47Will accepts the challenge and says he will apologize to Donut after losing.
32:51On the day of the festival, Will idly sits in the dressing room preparing himself for the upcoming
32:55battles. He hears the headmaster's announcement through the mic. She starts the competition with
32:59a famous quote from the founder Mercedes. She advised them to train, compete, and master their
33:03skills through this competition, allowing them to advance the tower. With that said, the Grand Magic
33:08Festival begins accompanied by fireworks. The leader of the scouts from the fire action orders
33:12his men to keep their eyes open. They must observe everything to the last detail. In the first race,
33:17Hannah soars through the sky, leaving everyone in her dust. She passes through the obstacles with
33:21great precision, catching the attention of her classmates. Palm Snook, a six-year student at
33:25the academy, is in awe of seeing her speed. He predicts that she is going to win the race this
33:29time, ruining everyone's hopes and dreams. His friend Flip Marteau agrees with his prediction and
33:34reminds him that Miss Perfect stands on top of the food chain for a reason. The scouts notice that the
33:38Earth Princess isn't competing in the tournament this year. In the meantime, all the other scouts
33:43are working hard to note down every detail. Cauldron notices them working hard to find the perfect
33:47candidate. However, the peeps from the tower have wasted no time in selecting their candidates.
33:52Iris reminds her that there are other mages association outside the tower who are looking
33:55for quality candidates. The tug of war between them will be a competition of their own. In the meantime,
34:00the commentator announces that Miss Perfect has won the Sky Race for the second time in a row.
34:04She reigns as the all-time leader in this academy. Cauldron finds it odd that Iris is leaving already.
34:09She has her own work as a scout. Plus, there is a certain senior who she wants to cheer for.
34:14On the other hand, Cheyenne's lackeys wish him good luck for the upcoming match.
34:17They can cheer him on from the sidelines even if they didn't qualify for the festival.
34:21Cheyenne claims that denying a girl's request is not in his blood. Unexpectedly, Colette pulled out
34:26all her riz, saying Cheyenne was the only one who'd join her party. Plus, she expressed her guilt by
34:31asking him to make him put his guard down. He's glad that Colette finally understands that spending
34:36more time with him is better than wasting life on the flunky. He rushes to the dressing room to get
34:40some alone time with her. Unfortunately, upon smashing the door open, he finds that Will is
34:45already present at the scene with her. He doesn't understand why the flunky is sitting with him.
34:50Colette reminds him that she was the one who asked him to join his party. To join the crown attack
34:54competition, a party needs a total of 21,000 credit points. To put it simply, he got used up and
34:59thrown like toilet paper. He doesn't understand why Will is joining a high-level competition like
35:03Crown Attack. Shortly after, Julius passes by behind Scions but completely ignores him.
35:08He notices that Julius and Will are focused on each other. Cheyenne feels the same humiliation as before.
35:13He is determined to show everyone that he's not some shit to be left alone on the sidelines.
35:18Soon, Mike, the commentator, introduces himself and greets the crowd. His co-commentator is the most
35:22hated professor in the academy. He wishes to stick a spell in the Viper's ass, knowing Edward's history with
35:28the students. In the end, Edward threatens to kill him if his mouth doesn't go on mute.
35:32On that note, Mike asks the elven faction to work their magic on the arena.
35:35They create different terrains starting from the volcano, marshland, badland, grassland,
35:40and woodland zones. Unlike the other competitions, the crown attack is fought with teams of three.
35:44Each team will start outside the badland zone to reach the stadium. Whoever reaches the stadium
35:49first and steps onto the crown will win the competition. However, this is as easy as it sounds.
35:53The students not only will be facing harsh conditions of the specific ones,
35:57they will be facing traps set by the professors. Mike reminds everyone that this is the most
36:01high-level competition in the entire Grand Magic Festival. All the scouts keep a close eye on the
36:06competition because all the top-tier candidates are on the battlefield. Mike also reveals the stats
36:11borrowed from the school's backroom gambling club. Wignall and Julius are the most favorite to win this
36:15year. However, there is a unique twist this time. Apparently, squad six, including Cyan and Colette,
36:21teamed with the academy's no-talent Cyan. Everyone laughs at him for participating in the highest competition.
36:26All of them think that the book learner has gone mad. Professor Worker wants him to reconsider
36:31participating in the tournament. However, Will claims that he will win this battle no matter what.
36:35Just when the battle begins outside the badland, thousands of golem conjure from the ground to
36:39form a wall. They are the first obstacle the students must clear, to everyone's utter surprise,
36:44Will rushes towards them without a weapon. The students think he is suicidal, since his punches were
36:48barely effective in the spellwork exam room. Will asks Colette to cast her spell to supercharge his
36:53magical gauntlets. He utilizes the power from the spell, and the momentum to break through the
36:57wall of golems like they are dominos. At this point, everyone in the arena has their mouth wide open.
37:02Mike can't even believe that what they are seeing is real. Professor Worker, on the other hand,
37:06knew that this was going to happen eventually. Meanwhile, Colette explains that Will used his
37:10magical gauntlet to strike the golems, which is totally not against the rules. After seeing his
37:14performance, Cyan remembers the day Will saved him from the dungeon. He felt disgusted when the worst
37:19student in their school had to swoop in and save his ass. Ever since then, Cyan has trained day and
37:23night until his limbs stopped working. He wanted to become the strongest at their academy. However,
37:31even now Will has managed to outshine him. Amongst all the time, Mike announces that Squad 6 is taking
37:36the lead to enter the Badlands. The zone is filled with automatic turrets that use earth magic to fire
37:40rocks at high speed. Colette warns him of an upcoming shoot, forcing Will to punch the ground with his bare
37:45hands to create a wall. Following that, Colette casts an earth spell to conjure multiple swords,
37:50as it is his favorite weapon. Will picks up the sword while running ahead. Instead of closing the
37:55distance, Will throws the swords, destroying the targets like cake. Some of the students think that
38:00Will can only fight because of Colette's magic. However, Professor Edward comments that Will
38:04moves like a dungeon veteran. His vast knowledge and experience allow him to make efficient movements
38:08almost as a natural reflux. Unfortunately, one of the swords fails to destroy the target and cuts the
38:14cliff underneath the trap. It suddenly falls to the ground and prepares to fire its shot.
38:18But before that could happen, Will picks up the last sword and destroys it on the slash.
38:22The other teams hastily advance to the Badlands zone in fear of falling behind Will. Unfortunately,
38:27the rush leads them to a lot of traps, ending their journey before it could even start.
38:31By now, everyone wonders if Will is going to take first place in the crown attack.
38:34The cheers and noise from the crowd irritate Julius to an indescribable extent.
38:38He asks his friends if there has been a big upset in the tournament. His teammates hesitantly
38:42reveal that Will and his squad are in the lead. At this pace, they are sure to take the first
38:46place.
38:47Julius laughs at the situation, excited to meet him in battle. He leaves his teammates behind,
38:52claiming his strength alone is enough to defeat Will and his squad. In the meantime,
38:55Will and his teammates enter the woodland which just happens to be the last zone in the competition.
39:00Unfortunately, they are met with a top-chain spell trap set by yours truly, Viper Sensei.
39:05Not to worry, Will digs around the magic circles, carves them out of the ground and aims each
39:09one at themselves. This easily destroys the trap, allowing them to move ahead.
39:13At this point, Mike who is wishing he had bet on Will wants to know Edward's
39:16spot on his traps being destroyed faster than previous traps. He doesn't say anything except
39:20a small tongue click, proving he is pissed off. This was enough for Mike and the rest of the
39:24students who wanted to see this day come. Back on the battlefield, Will is eager to cross the
39:28woodland zone before the other teams arrive. It is common knowledge that the zone near the stadium
39:32is the most deadliest. Other teams ambush their opponents to gain the advantage. He wants to get the
39:37trade advantage before Julius arrives to kill him. As he moves forward, a sudden magic attack shoots
39:42past him and freezes the background trees. Unexpectedly, Julius appears on the scene out
39:47of nowhere. Will is surprised to see that he beat his squad to the race. He worries about his teammates
39:52hiding in the trees waiting to ambush him at the right moment. However, Julius moves on the offense
39:57conjuring multiple ice arrows. But before he could attack them, Cheyenne activated his flames,
40:02evaporating all the ice in the area. He takes a few minutes to cast one of the most powerful flame
40:06spells ever known to mankind, Iflan Berdellian. Colette notices that Will is standing in the
40:10way of the attack. She tells him to run away, but it is too late. A moment before the attack
40:15hits him,
40:16she casts a protective earth barrier around him to protect him from the attack.
40:20Cheyenne's spell is so powerful that the entire stadium begins shaking. Thankfully to Colette's
40:24shield, Will manages to survive the attack. However, he doesn't know what just happened. At that
40:29moment, she understands that the attack was aimed at both Will and Julius. She wants to know what his
40:34intentions were with that last attack. Cheyenne claims that he has been following all of her
40:38orders like a good boy. But now, it is time to reclaim his payment. He challenges Will to a
40:42one-on-one fight, disregarding the competition. Will is shocked by his decision, but he doesn't
40:46even wait for his consent. Meanwhile, Julius creates an ice barrier between them. He attacks Colette out of
40:52nowhere, and her screams reach Will on the other side. Cheyenne attacks, forcing him to defend
40:56himself with his sword. However, the half-witted grip leaves the word to fall out of his hands.
41:00Will tries to calm him down, saying it is not the time to be fighting amongst themselves.
41:05But Cheyenne advises him to hurry up and pick up the sword before he's toast.
41:09Even after Sion destroyed half of the forest and nearly incinerated Will,
41:13he couldn't understand what had happened in previous minutes. He still stands there,
41:18wondering if he got attacked or something. In the meantime, Sion tells Julius to move out of the
41:23way before his ass gets roasted. Colette knows that Will is about to fight Julius. She tries to knock
41:29some sense into him. However, Sion is done playing the nice boy. He followed Colette's every demand by
41:35now, but that ends here. Right now, he wants to fight Will. He challenges him to a fight,
41:41but Will can't understand what is going on. He reminds them that they are in the middle of the
41:46Grand Magic Festival. He asks his reasons for challenging him. However, Sion attacks without
41:52answering his questions, forcing him to jump back. Sion claims that he's an offense to his eyes and
41:58ears. He doesn't need a reason to crush the likes of him. Upon hearing this, even Colette wonders
42:04about the origin of such hatred towards Will. She wants them to stop fighting. But in that moment,
42:09Julius casts an ice spell, creating a wall between them. At this point, she can't believe that he
42:15survived a frontal assault from Sion. Without wasting a moment, he attacks her, and the screens
42:21reach Will on the other side. He worries about her safety, distracting her from the foe in front of him.
42:27Angered, Sion attacks him with a whipped spell to grab his undivided attention. Will can't do
42:32anything but deflect his attacks. However, his attacks knock his sword a few meters back. Will still
42:38tries to stop the senseless fight between them. Yet, Sion is only focused on killing him.
42:44A decade ago, right after Elferia departed from the academy, people started bullying Will. They
42:50used to stick a note on his back, claiming he was worthless no-talent. Sion used to hate the other
42:55kids for bullying him. Watching Will was outright depressing for him. And so, he burned the note
43:01with fire magic. Sion invites him to become his underling to avoid getting bullied. However,
43:07he doesn't give him attention for one second. Sion was pissed about him not giving a fudge. And so,
43:13he forces him to turn his back and face him. Unexpectedly, Will tells him to leave him alone.
43:18His lifeless and rageful gaze makes Sion shit his pants. Yet, he refused to give up on him.
43:24From that day onward, he started to despise him for everything. In the present,
43:29he continues launching spells after spells at will before he can grab his sword. Luckily,
43:35he is able to deflect them all in the nick of time. He asks if he is going to jump
43:40around like an animal
43:41just to survive. He opens his arms and challenges him to attack head on. Will reminds him that they
43:47are on the same team. With his sword boiling red, Will tells him about his responsibilities.
43:52He needs to keep his promise to Mr. Donan and the others. For that goal, he can't fight him right
43:58now.
43:59Despite his explanation, Julius doesn't want to listen to his reasoning. He will just increase him to a
44:04crisp if Will refuses to fight. At this point, he wonders if fighting him is his only option.
44:10In the arena, Mike comments on the weird development in the competition. He reminds
44:15everyone that Squad 6 was in the lead, but Sion's outburst wrecked everything. With Edward being an
44:21expert, he claims that fighting amongst teammates is out of the question. Considering the core principles
44:26of the crown competition, the scouts who descended from the tower will severely mark against this outburst.
44:32Mike respects his expert analysis of the situation, but his smile extremely freaks him out. Just as
44:39Edward defined, the scouts view Sion Ulster as nothing but a schoolboy. They disregard all of
44:45his past achievements like it is trash. Even Rosti is on the edge of her seat, wondering what will happen
44:51next. Suddenly, Iris, the underclassman who can befriend anyone asks for her permission to take a seat.
44:57After sitting down, she starts cheering for Will which comes as a surprise to Rosti. She didn't
45:03believe that Iris was the type to take a liking to someone in particular. Iris reveals that someone
45:08told him about Will before descending from the tower. At first, she didn't pay much attention to him.
45:14However, she is hooked on him for some reason. Rosti mentions that Sion is also really popular,
45:19and thus Will is catching everyone's attention. Iris realizes that something is fishy in the tank.
45:26In that moment, she confesses her love for Will. Although, she is sure that Colette is also in love
45:32with him. Back in the arena, Colette rushes to the other side of the wall, knowing she is the only
45:37one
45:37who can stop them from fighting. However, Julius taunts him for showing her back. He claims that her
45:43corny attitude doesn't suit the title Earth Princess. Colette doesn't like anyone calling her by that name.
45:49She warns him not to say it again otherwise he will regret it. Still, Julius doesn't take her
45:55warning into account and continues to attack. Suddenly, multiple Julius start appearing everywhere
46:01on the battlefield. Even Mike is confused about what is happening. Julius pays Wignol a visit,
46:07but his appearance doesn't catch him off guard. Instead, he returns the flower gift from earlier,
46:12blasting him with a wind spell from underneath. He discovers that Julius learned a clone spell using
46:18technology belonging to a Maja Vander. Still, the elven scouts from the tower aren't impressed by his
46:24display of power. She claims that he neither exceeds or fails their expectation. But that's
46:30none of her concerns. She just wants to return to the tower and be a shut-in again. In the
46:35meantime,
46:36one of Sion's lackeys wonders who would win between Julius and Wignol. He believes that Squad 6 would
46:42have won if Sion didn't go off script. He doesn't understand what has gotten into him. However,
46:48the other lackey knows how Sion feels about Will. Sure, trying to get him kicked out of the academy was
46:53going a little bit too far. But he knows why Sion is pissed off at him. As these thoughts trouble
46:59the
46:59audience, Will is puzzled by his own questions. He can't understand why Sion is fixated on his butt.
47:05All of the students bullied him without a reason. He knew his own limitations and acknowledged himself
47:11as a failure. This is the reason he wanted everyone to leave him alone. He didn't have time to deal
47:17with the side characters. His focus was only on the top of the tower and reuniting with Elferia.
47:23Suddenly, Sion casts a high-level spell to summon a guardian falcon made of fire. Unexpectedly,
47:29the guardian starts attacking Will out of nowhere. Despite not understanding the spell,
47:33he thinks that cutting its wing would create an opening. However, his plan fails,
47:38as the falcon undergoes high-speed regeneration. It attacks him from multiple sides at the same time,
47:44forcing him to block it with his bare hands. Will knows that guardians are usually used to defend
47:50its summoner or buy time until the incantation is complete. But for some reason, Sion's guardian can
47:55attack from multiple sides which doesn't make sense. Will manages to block the attack,
48:00but the sheer display of Sion's magic power puts everyone in awe. Even Edward can't believe that
48:06Sion has such proficiency with fire magic. The scouts from the Flame Emperor's faction can't believe what
48:12they are seeing. They are impressed by Sion's ability to use high-level magic and summon an offensive
48:18guardian. One of the fellow scouts informs him that Sion is next in line to become the head of the
48:24Ulster
48:24family. He is a top student but falls behind Lihanna, Julius, and Wignol. Despite this,
48:30the main scout thinks that he has broken through his shell. Just as they think a newly born chick
48:35has emerged from its egg, the person becomes a hawk and surprises everyone. They immediately plan to
48:41report this finding to the Flame Emperor. Will also acknowledges that Sion has gotten stronger.
48:47He even taunts Will, asking if that's all he got. He claims that he wasn't this useless when defeating the
48:53evil sentinel in the dungeon. Still, he doesn't understand the reason behind his rage. At that
48:59moment, Sion asks if he is still not angry after being so ridiculed by everyone. He asks if he is
49:05not furious for taking so much bullying. He breaks out, claiming he is furious at everyone. He has lost
49:12count of how many times he wanted to get back at him. However, now is not the time to fight
49:17amongst
49:17themselves. He must fight and defeat Julius. Naturally, Sion is frustrated that he is still
49:23thinking about fighting Julius. The sheer sight of him infuriates him to the core. He fought back
49:29without giving up even without any talent. Yet, he looked at everyone beside him. Sion demands him
49:35to look at him. He won't tolerate his ignorance any longer. Will didn't know that he looked at him in
49:41such a way. However, deep down he wanted Sion to acknowledge him. And since now that is the case,
49:47Will is prepared to fight him with everything in his power. Finally, Sion is excited that he is taking
49:53this seriously. He starts casting one of the most powerful spells in his arsenal. However, Will is not
49:59worried about his magic at all. He has already seen his timing, making it easy to counter. Sion casts two
50:06spells at the same time. But even still, he has seen its path. Instead of defending against his attack,
50:12Will decides to jump in the spell of destruction. Knowing the path of the spell, he can easily counter
50:18the attack. Sion is shocked to see him take this approach. With that, he approaches to strike him
50:24at point-blank range but soon realizes that it is the end of their fight. Unexpectedly,
50:30Colette appears on the scene and casts an Earth spell between them before his attack lands on Sion.
50:35Unable to apply the brakes, Will hits the wall and falls down. Both of them are shocked to see her
50:41coming to stop the fight in a burnt outfit. Will is confused as to what happened with Julius.
50:46She kicked his butt. However, he suddenly disappeared from her eyes. Suddenly, Sion shouts at Colette for
50:53appearing in such an outfit. He claims that it is unlawful for an unwed noble lady to appear in such
50:59a
50:59state. She claims that it is her fault for burning the entire village to a crisp. She then diverts her
51:05attention towards Will. She reminds him about his mission to fight with Julius. However, Sion says
51:11that no one can come in his way, not even Colette. At that moment, she informs him that he is
51:17the one
51:17who got in their way. Eventually, Will covers her up with his coat and thanks her for stopping the
51:23fight. This makes her burn from emotions. Before leaving, he assures Sion that they will have a
51:28real fight in the future. Meanwhile, Mike and the rest of the audience wonder who will be the first
51:34one to enter the stadium. Soon, Squad 9 led by Julius enters the stadium without a scratch on his
51:40teammates. Mike realizes that they are going to be the winners this year since no one is here to stop
51:45them. This means that all of his life saving wagered on Wignall will be lost. Suddenly, Will flies into
51:52the stadium using his special wire gear, shocking everyone present on the scene. In his serious mode,
51:58he challenges Julius to a fight in front of all the scouts, making him excited.
