05:05Unfortunately, things go wrong almost immediately as the beast is far stronger than Merlin expected.
05:11Before long, she finds herself running through the forest while being chased by a gigantic wolf-like
05:16beast. Merlin has already tried level 4 magic on it, but it didn't do any damage at all, which makes
05:22her understand she's going to need something more powerful. Realizing that her normal spells are useless,
05:28Merlin decides that she has only one option left. She begins chanting a level 6 spell,
05:33even though she has never successfully cast one before. To her surprise, the spell actually works
05:39as she launches a level 6 lightning bolt right at the monster. The explosion shakes the area and
05:44fills the forest with smoke and dust, and Merlin becomes convinced that she has finally won.

05:56her away with tremendous force. She crashes to the ground and struggles to get back up. The huge wolf

06:07going to die. Just as the beast is about to attack, Eftal suddenly appears and saves her at the last
06:13second. Eftal immediately scolds her for entering the forest alone. Ashamed, Merlin begins apologizing

06:25students. However, he warns her not to become obsessed with gaining power too quickly. If she
06:31rushes forward without building a proper foundation, that power could easily slip through her fingers.
06:36As they speak, Merlin suddenly notices that the beast from earlier is still alive and standing right
06:42behind Eftal. However, he doesn't even flinch. Without turning around, he calmly casts a level 10 lightning
06:49spell. A massive surge of lightning erupts from his body and instantly destroys the beast.

17:33Eftal the basics of swordsmanship. The two of them spend the afternoon training together.
17:37Frazier patiently shows him the proper techniques. While practicing, Eftal remembers something from
17:43his previous life. Frazier had always taught him basic education and military science, and he had
17:49constantly encouraged him to attend military school instead of pursuing magic. After training for a
17:55while, Eftal finally gathers the courage to speak. He tells Frazier that he truly wants to attend the

18:43magic academy. In truth, Frazier fully expects Eftal to fail. He believes that once Eftal sees the

22:29kingdom of Azul's knights. Without wasting any time, Moria immediately challenges Eftal to a duel.
22:35He tells him not to hold back and to attack with everything he has. As Moria calmly walks toward
22:41the center of the training ground, Eftal finds it difficult to make the first move. Moria's
22:46overwhelming aura is so intimidating that it leaves him frozen for a moment. Seeing Eftal hesitate,
22:52Moria assumes he is nothing more than a weak child. He charges straight at him, hoping to end the fight
22:57in a single attack. At the last possible second, Eftal dodges out of the way. Using physical enhancement

23:50pats Eftal on the head, and tells him that he has successfully passed the test. Frazier then walks
23:56over and reveals the truth. He explains that Moria is actually the headmaster of the Azul Military
24:02Science Academy. Since Moria was impressed by Eftal's performance, he has officially passed the
24:07entrance test and now has a guaranteed place at the academy. Eftal is caught completely off guard.
24:13Everything happens so quickly that he starts wondering how things even reach this point.
24:18A few years later, a heavy rainstorm begins. While everyone stays inside to avoid the rain,
24:23they notice Eftal outside and simply assume he is continuing his swordsmanship training.
24:29In reality, Eftal has gone deep into the forest to secretly practice his level 10 magic. He unleashes
24:35a massive lightning spell that crashes into the ground with incredible force. The explosion is so
24:41powerful that Frazier mistakes it for a natural lightning strike and immediately rushes into the forest to
24:47make sure Eftal is safe. After confirming that nothing happened to him, Frazier reminds Eftal that he is
24:53now 14 years old. That means once he turns 15, he will officially begin attending the Military Science
24:59Academy. The problem is that Eftal has no desire to go there. He knows that life at the academy will

27:28what Frazier means. Eftal then steps forward to begin the battle, and Joachim immediately tosses a
27:34sword toward him. As soon as Eftal catches it, he notices that the weapon is much heavier than he
27:39expected. Joachim explains that it is a hardwood sword, not an ordinary practice weapon. He says that if
27:45someone lands the attack properly, the sword is strong enough to crush a person's skull or completely
27:50shatter their bones. After saying that, Joachim suddenly puts on a twisted smile and stares directly
27:56at Eftal. He says that Eftal's mother has brought nothing but shame to the royal family because she
28:02gave birth to a child with no talent for magic. He admits that he has always wanted to kill her
28:07himself, but since he can't do that anymore, he will just have to settle for killing her son instead.
28:13The moment Eftal hears those words, his expression turns completely cold. He realizes that Joachim and
28:19the Duke are easily the most unbearable people he has ever met. What makes him even more annoyed is the
28:25fact that these two idiots are actually his own descendants. That thought alone makes him even
28:30angrier than before. Without wasting another second, Eftal rushes straight at Joachim and begins
28:36attacking him with his sword. He keeps swinging without giving Joachim any room to breathe, and he
28:41is surprised to see that Joachim barely manages to dodge every strike, even though Joachim avoids getting
28:47hit. It is obvious that he is struggling to keep up with Eftal's speed and strength. Joachim is left
28:52completely shocked by the amount of power Eftal possesses. He begins wondering if Eftal has somehow
28:58become possessed, because the person standing in front of him feels nothing like the weak boy
29:03he knew before. To Joachim, it is as if he is fighting a completely different person. The duel
29:08continues for a while as the two keep exchanging blows. Eventually, Joachim raises his sword and
29:15tries to block another one of Eftal's attacks. At that exact moment, Eftal activates his physical
29:20enhancement magic, greatly increasing his strength. He then swings his hardwood sword with overwhelming
29:26force, smashing straight through Joachim's defense and caving in his skull. With that single attack,
29:32the duel finally comes to an end, and Eftal is declared the winner. Everyone watching the fight
29:37is left frozen in shock because none of them expected Joachim to lose so easily. Before leaving
29:42the arena, Eftal stops for a moment and looks directly at Joachim. In a cold voice, he warns him that
29:48if he ever says another disrespectful word about his mother again, he will make sure he dies the
29:53next time. Eftal then walks over to his mother, but he quickly notices that she seems a little
29:59afraid of him because of the incredible strength he showed during the duel. He gently reassures her
30:04that she has nothing to fear because no matter how strong he has become, he is still the same Eftal
30:10she has always known. After that, Eftal respectfully bows before the Duke and thanks him for inviting him
30:16even though the Duke clearly isn't happy about what happened. He reluctantly wishes Eftal good luck
30:21during his time at military school before letting him leave. Later that evening, Eftal's mother prepares
30:27his favorite meal to celebrate his victory. The two of them are just about to start eating when they
30:33suddenly hear someone knocking on the front door. They open it and are surprised to find Moria and
30:38Frazier standing outside with a baby in his arms. Once he gets inside, Frazier immediately explains the
30:44situation. He says that a rumor has been spreading that the minister's faction is planning to assassinate
30:50the young prince while the kingdom's main military force is away fighting on the battlefield. The
30:55barbarian attack happened much earlier than anyone expected, so there wasn't enough time to prepare.
31:01Because everything happened so suddenly, Frazier decided that Eftal's house was the safest place he
31:06could think of to hide the prince until they figured out what to do next. After hearing that,
31:11Eftal quickly understands the political situation. The previous king of Azul had two sons, and the
31:17younger son was far more talented than the older one. Because of that, the younger son became the
31:22current king, while the older son became the crown minister instead. Since the current king
31:27originally had no male heir, everyone believed that the minister's own son would eventually inherit
31:32the throne. However, everything changed when the current king finally had a son of his own.
31:37That one event destroyed the minister's plans, which is exactly why his faction now wants the
31:43young prince dead before he can inherit the kingdom. Even after figuring all of that out,
31:48Eftal still can't understand one thing. He wonders how the barbarians managed to break through the
31:53kingdom's defenses and reach the capital after security had supposedly been strengthened.
31:58Frazier believes there is only one person who could have made that possible. He suspects that the duke
32:03is secretly behind everything because, if the royal family is overthrown and power changes hands,
32:09the duke would gain more than anyone else. Since returning to the capital is no longer an option,
32:14Frazier decides that their only choice is to cross the border and take the prince to the kingdom's main
32:20army, where he will be much safer. It is a dangerous journey, but they have no better alternative if they
32:26want to keep the prince alive. The next morning, Moria and Frazier finish preparing for the trip and begin
32:31saying their goodbyes before leaving. Just then, Eftal suddenly appears and asks if he can come with
32:37them. Moria and Frazier happily accept his offer because they know they will need every bit of help
32:43they can get during such a dangerous mission. Although they are grateful to have him with them,
32:47it is obvious that Eftal's mother is heartbroken as she watches her son leave home once again.
32:53The three of them begin making their way through the forest while discussing the safest route and
32:58planning their next move. In the middle of their conversation, a loud noise suddenly echoes through
33:03the trees. Realizing that something is wrong, they immediately decide that the smartest thing to do
33:08is leave the forest as quickly as possible before whatever caused the sound catches up to them.
33:14However, the moment they reach the edge of the forest, they suddenly stop in their tracks.
33:19Waiting for them outside is an even more terrifying sight. The duke has already arrived with his personal
33:25division of battle mages, and they have completely blocked their path. It is immediately clear that
33:30they have no intention of letting the prince escape, and they are prepared to take him back
33:34no matter what it costs. They immediately think about turning back, but they quickly discover that
33:39the path behind them has already been blocked by a wall of fire. That is when they realize the loud
33:45sound they heard earlier was actually the duke's mages setting the entire forest on fire,

34:56area, destroying almost everything in its path. Eftel has no idea whether Frazier managed to survive

35:19darker than before and immediately tries to calm him down before he loses control. However, Eftel ignores

36:00standing before him is Eftel. He immediately orders his mages to stop holding back and show him what
36:06they are truly capable of. Without hesitation, the mages combine their strength once again and fire
36:12several level 5 explosion arrows straight at Eftel. The attacks appear to hit him directly, creating a
36:18massive explosion that shakes the entire battlefield. The duke immediately begins celebrating, convinced
36:24that no one could possibly survive an attack of that magnitude. But as the smoke slowly clears,
36:29everyone is left speechless. Eftel is still standing exactly where he was before, completely unharmed.
36:36It turns out he protected himself by using his always on magic defense circle, allowing him to block the
36:42entire explosion without suffering a single injury. Desperate to stop him, the duke orders all of his
36:48mages to unleash the level 6 lightning spell against Eftel. As the powerful attack races toward him, Eftel can't
36:54help but find the whole thing insulting. The spell being used against him is the very same
36:59legendary lightning magic that was originally named after him. Seeing it used in such a pathetic way
37:05only annoys him even more. Without showing even the slightest concern, Eftel calmly casts a level
37:117 energy guard spell and effortlessly blocks the entire attack. The massive lightning spell disappears
37:18without leaving a scratch on him. Every mage watching is left completely stunned because the level 6
37:23lightning spell is considered legendary magic. They had always believed it was impossible for
37:29anyone to block it head on. After that, a twisted grin slowly spreads across Eftel's face. He suddenly
37:35dashes straight into the army of mages and begins cutting them down one after another without giving them
37:41any chance to fight back. His movements are so fast and overwhelming that the mages are completely
37:46powerless against him. One after another, they fall before they can even understand what is happening.
37:52Realizing they have absolutely no chance of defeating him, the remaining mages abandon the fight and try
37:57to run for their lives. Before any of them can escape, Eftel raises his hand and casts a level 10
38:04lightning
38:04spell. The overwhelming magic instantly sweeps across the battlefield, wiping out the entire army in a single
38:10attack. When the dust finally settles, only Joachim and the Duke are still alive. Eftel calmly walks
38:16over to the two survivors without showing any emotion. He casually knocks Joachim unconscious before
38:22he even has the chance to resist. After that, he turns his attention to the Duke. Looking him straight
38:28in the eyes, Eftel tells him that he has no intention of showing mercy to the kind of man who
38:33would sacrifice
38:33his own son for his selfish ambitions. Once he finishes speaking, he knocks the Duke unconscious as well.
38:40With that, the coup finally comes to an end. Not long afterward, both Joachim and the Duke are
38:45publicly executed for their crimes, bringing their rebellion to a permanent end. It doesn't take long
38:51before Frazier is discharged from the hospital. As soon as Eftel hears the news, he immediately
38:57goes to check on him. Frazier explains that he only survived because of his family's necklace,
39:02which protected him from the fatal attack. The moment Eftel sees the necklace, he immediately
39:07recognizes it as Oberon's guard. It originally belonged to him in the past and had been passed
39:12down through the family for many generations before eventually ending up in Frazier's hands.
39:17With the Duke gone, Frazier becomes the new head of the household because he risked his own life to
39:23protect the crown prince during the attack. On top of that, the kingdom begins stripping the Duke of
39:28all his noble titles and honors, completely erasing his legacy after everything he had done.
39:33Some time later, Eftel decides to show Frazier and Moria the true extent of his magical power,
39:40as they watch him demonstrate one incredible spell after another. Both of them are left deeply impressed
39:45by what they see. Even so, they warn him that he should keep his true strength a secret because,
39:51if the rest of the world ever found out how powerful he really is, it could throw the entire
39:56world into chaos. They become even more surprised when Eftel reveals that he still plans to attend magic
40:02school. Both Frazier and Moria think he has already become far too powerful to learn anything there.
40:08But Eftel explains that raw power isn't everything. He wants to study magic properly
40:13so he can learn how to control his abilities and use every spell to its fullest potential.
40:18After hearing his reasoning, Frazier and Moria fully support his decision. With that,
40:23Eftel takes another important step forward on his journey to master the path of magic.
