01:03:40Orkot XIII. Eftel secretly apologizes to Merlin in his mind for lying to her. But he knows that this
01:03:47is how things have to be for now if he wants to protect his identity. After hearing this story,
01:03:52Merlin feels slightly sad that her master never told her about such an important secret. She can't
01:03:58believe that the Lightning Emperor had an entire secret family that she knew nothing about. However,
01:04:03her sadness quickly turns into excitement. Merlin becomes eager to find out whether one of Eftel's
01:04:09descendants could actually be stronger than she is. She then informs Eftel that the Academy will soon
01:04:15be holding mock battles for the students. Merlin asks him if he would be willing to fight against her.
01:04:20The moment Eftel hears this, he immediately shudders. He knows that fighting Merlin could be extremely
01:04:26dangerous for his plans. If he battles her seriously, there is a good chance that he will reveal how
01:04:31powerful he really is. That would only draw even more attention to him. The most logical choice
01:04:37would be to refuse Merlin's challenge and avoid the battle altogether. However, Eftel's heart tells
01:04:43him otherwise. Despite knowing the risks, Eftel eventually accepts Merlin's challenge. Deep down,
