A dad who had been through years of fertility struggles jumped for joy when his wife surprised him with news of a natural pregnancy. Kyla Sieges, 32, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, found out on April Fool's Day after her daughter's joke prompted her to take a random test. She and husband Evan, 32, had faced "struggle after struggle": a miscarriage in 2019, then surgeries, tests and intensive treatment involving daily injections, ultrasounds and bloodwork before daughter Elsie, 5, arrived in 2020. Another loss followed before son Garrett, 3, was born in 2023. Trying for a third, the couple moved and their new clinic was "extremely difficult", refusing the protocol that had worked before. Kyla took a break for her health, then tested with nothing to lose. Later that day she held up the positive as Evan walked in. His jaw dropped, he flicked the light on for a closer look, then leapt off the ground and jumped and jumped.
