00:00Hello everyone, the Into the Dark Stretch Goals is here. They landed today. This video is to cover everything that
00:06you need to know about them,
00:08including rewards that you can get from them and the rates that they can drop and all of that good
00:12info on how to farm these super, super fast.
00:16So let's get straight into this. What are Stretch Goals? If you're new to the game, you've got your normal
00:20season pass where you go through and you grab your tiers.
00:23And once you get to 100, you are done. Well, that's until the Stretch Goals event starts at the end
00:29of every season.
00:30We normally have two weeks for this. However, we've only got one week, one day and 12 hours at the
00:36time of recording this and it only started today.
00:38So a lot shorter than usual on this. I would like to say that with the current Times 2 XP
00:45event on season pass that they have,
00:47people today in stream were saying that this was counted in Stretch Goals. I think you can see there my
00:54bar is going up.
00:55I'm already into the Stretch Goals. So yeah, your Times 2 Season XP event will count for Stretch Goals this
01:01time around, which it doesn't normally do.
01:04So even though it's a shorter time, you can take advantage of the Times 2.
01:08Stretch Goals are essentially 10 tiers of rewards that you can keep on repeating and repeating until the end of
01:15the event.
01:16You're going to get yourself some standard caches, exotic caches, and then the Into the Dark Stretch Goals caches as
01:23well.
01:23And these are the special ones. These are the ones you're going to want to open for some exclusive rewards.
01:28You'll get four Stretch Goals caches throughout the 10 tiers, including a Prestige Stretch Goals cache on tier 10.
01:37Once you complete a tier 10, you can claim them all. You can claim them individually as you unlock them
01:42as well.
01:43But this will refresh and you'll go again. You'll just keep on doing that until you get all of the
01:48rewards that you want from them.
01:50So speaking of the rewards, let's take a look at them. The Into the Dark Cache Contents.
01:56So these are the normal caches. The four that you get across the 10 tiers.
02:01There's vanity items that can drop out of them at 50% per cache. That's a chance.
02:06There are going to be five outfit pieces for the Breathless Outfit, four arm patches, and three weapon skins.
02:14That totals 12 items which are exclusive to this event that you'll want to farm out with a high chance
02:21per cache.
02:22So you should get that relatively easily.
02:25Then you do have a 10% chance to get a rare named item.
02:29These are all of the items within that drop pool, should I say.
02:35The Lexington is in there. The Stack Broker is in there.
02:37The Terminal is in there, and all of these.
02:40So if you do hit that pool, you're guaranteed one of these.
02:43You can see that it's more heavily weighted to the Lexington, Stack Broker,
02:47and then everything else is pretty much worse.
02:50A few there at 6%, and then a few there at 3.25%.
02:53So if you hit this pool, it's then weighted again as per what you'll get,
02:57with I think the most sought-after items with more chance.
03:01There's 10% chance of a Seasonal Exotic, which includes the Caduceus, the Nurse's Knee Pads,
03:07Nemesis, and all of these.
03:08That is an even split among all of those exotics.
03:12So if you do hit this 10% pool, you'll get one of them.
03:16And then the rare exotic item loot pool is 0.5% drop chance per cache.
03:22There's the Regulus in there, the Eagle Bear, the Ravenous, which are the Raid exotics.
03:26You've got the Bighorn, the Auroboros, Provocator,
03:28and all of the other Master or Climax Mission exotics there as well.
03:33Very low drop chance, though.
03:36Don't be surprised if you don't see one of these.
03:38Now, with the Prestige cache, it switches things up a little bit.
03:41So this is the one that you get one per 10 tiers, the one on the 10th tier.
03:46The vanity items, which are exclusive to the event, are a guaranteed drop.
03:50So when you open one of them, if you still need something, you'll get it.
03:54If you're opening a Prestige cache and you're no longer getting any of these,
03:57that means you've got them all.
03:59There's a rare named item guarantee drop as well.
04:02So you'll definitely get one of these items here.
04:05Even split this time in this loot pool on which you'll get,
04:08but you'll definitely get one of them.
04:10The seasonal exotic part is 25% chance to get those exotics.
04:15And the rare exotic item goes from 0.5% to 2.5% drop chance.
04:20Still an even split as per which one will drop.
04:22If you do hit this loot pool,
04:24you've got a much better chance of getting one of these items in the Prestige cache.
04:28So what I'm going to do now is just claim all the ones that I've earned today.
04:32I've only earned 10 of them.
04:34We haven't been grinding too hard.
04:36We've been doing escalation tier 10s today.
04:39Did a quick flawless incursion.
04:41But I am going to explain to you exactly the fastest way to get as many of these as you
04:46can in a few moments.
04:48So let's open those.
04:49Have a look at what we get.
04:50We're only interested in the Prestige cache and the four stretch goal caches.
04:55So let's give them an open, see if we get anything good.
04:58We hit a bonus pool there.
05:00I've got the Lexington first try.
05:02You're all going to say stream a look in the comments.
05:05I'm having none of it.
05:06I get nothing.
05:08That's just happened.
05:09It just happens, you know.
05:10It could be as easy as that with you.
05:12It could be your first cache.
05:13It could be your 100th cache.
05:14Good luck with that.
05:15Let's see what we get in the next ones.
05:20Didn't hit a bonus that time.
05:21So when you open it, you'll see a flash bonus.
05:24When it flashes bonus, there will be a bonus item out of one of those pools that we've just shown
05:28you.
05:29And in furry, you can hit every pool.
05:31Sometimes you'll have two bonus items.
05:34If you have three or four bonus items because you're lucky enough to hit three or four pools,
05:37then they won't show, but they will be in your inventory.
05:40That's happened to me before.
05:41I got a Regulus once, but didn't show on this screen here where it's shown the two bonus items.
05:46I actually hit three bonus items on that open.
05:48I'm going to check my inventory.
05:51A Regulus was there, a brand new Regulus.
05:52So if you do see two items, do quickly check your inventory in case you got a third or four
05:57off.
05:57It's a tough tip.
06:01No bonus item there.
06:05And no bonus item there.
06:07So we opened four caches, got one bonus item, which was a Lexington.
06:12The Prestige now is going to give me a guaranteed bonus item plus a guaranteed vanity item.
06:17So if we open that, you'll see how that looks like.
06:19And these are the ones where you're probably going to see more than two bonus items.
06:24It gave me the crawl space there.
06:26It's got a crawl space weapon skin right away.
06:30I'm guessing the bonus item guaranteed fell in the above here.
06:34I got the harvest.
06:35And that's all.
06:36So let's talk about how you can grind these fast.
06:41Now, it's all season XP.
06:43We've got the time to season XP on, which means you can grind these super quick
06:47by doing priority objectives.
06:49I'm going to do a whole stream tomorrow.
06:51If you want to come along and watch, we're going to be farming these ourselves.
06:54We'll be looking at doing legendary missions all day.
06:58So we'll be focused on strongholds.
06:59So that's kind of what you want to do.
07:01So this mission here, you can see it's giving 915 season XP.
07:06That isn't too bad at all for a mission.
07:08I'd probably decrypt that and go for it.
07:10So if I did that, it would be locked in and says to go and complete Lincoln Memorial for 915
07:17XP.
07:18Not only that, though, when you go over to Lincoln Memorial and if you set the mission up,
07:22it gives you some more season XP as well.
07:24So we can go into the mission settings, say set it to heroic.
07:28You'll see that the 737 XP there as well.
07:32So you're going to get the seasonal XP for completing the mission
07:35and also the seasonal XP for completing a priority objective.
07:38It's the best way to do it.
07:40Focus on missions.
07:41Focus on strongholds.
07:43Strongholds give you the most seasonal XP.
07:46But some missions like that are well worth doing as well.
07:48And if you are working in a group, unfortunately, you can only focus one priority objective at once.
07:53We normally switch it about.
07:54I'll pick one and my friend will pick one and so on.
07:57I'll still be getting seasonal XP for doing the missions,
07:59even when I'm doing their priority missions.
08:02So you can still farm in a group.
08:04Although the most efficient way would be solo.
08:06So you can always do your priority.
08:08Unless your friends are just happy doing that anyway.
08:10But yeah, focus priority objectives.
08:12Missions, strongholds.
08:14Like I said, tomorrow I'll be streaming all day.
08:16Focusing legendary strongholds all day to see how many levels we can get
08:19and see if we can get all of these vanity items.
08:21That's all I'm personally looking for this time around.
08:24I've got everything else that I want from these.
08:25Once I've done the vanity items, I'll be done.
08:28But as I said earlier, beware you do only have one week, one day and 12 hours to get this
08:32done.
08:33You'll need to get the grind on.
08:34You should definitely have enough time to get all the vanity items.
08:37But if you're looking for some rare items, you might want to farm as much as you can.
08:41But take full advantage of that x2 season XP on the event because that hasn't been on it before.
08:46One final mention.
08:48You can buy some stretch goals with textiles as well.
08:52I don't believe I'm going to have enough textiles myself.
08:56I need to open up a load of caches to build up my textiles here.
08:59But if you've got enough textiles, you can buy 50 caches through textiles.
09:05Just buy stretch goals, use your textiles, buy 50 of them.
09:08That's a free 50 levels.
09:09If you're like me and you're short on textiles, just go to your...
09:14I think it's a store.
09:16And then apparel caches.
09:18Yeah, store apparel caches.
09:19You've probably got a ton of apparel cache keys.
09:22And you've already got all items within this,
09:24which means everything will be a duplicate when you open it.
09:27So when you open these, it'll come up.
09:31It'll be a duplicate.
09:32And what it'll do is convert the duplicate into textiles.
09:36You can just keep on opening these.
09:39It'll take a while.
09:40I'm not going to do it now to get all that I need for the 50 stretch goal caches.
09:44But you can get all the textiles you need this way to open those caches if you want to.
09:49I'll probably do that later or tomorrow.
09:53I might not even do it at all because I need to open quite a few.
09:56It's got a good half hour or so.
09:57But that's another tip to finish the video on.
