00:00Genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ is confirmed by commitment to Jesus Christ.
00:12So if there's genuine salvation, it is not lost.
00:16You can make mistakes, you will get back on track.
00:20You may get it wrong, you will repent and run back to Him.
00:24If your conversion is questionable, that is, you accept Jesus because you want a ticket to heaven.
00:38But you are not actually ready to follow His ways.
00:43That can be lost because it's not truly there.
00:55Good evening, Brother Chris.
00:56Yeah, yeah, pleasure to see you.
00:59I have a privilege to be here.
01:00My name is Tarun and I'm from Hamilton.
01:03My question is that like it's been from long time, like when I was just being baptized in Jesus.
01:09So this thing is coming in my mind from long time.
01:12Like, yeah, the thing is, as you say, that heaven is our home.
01:16So, and even the Bible says, like if we believe in Jesus, then we have internal life, like, you know.
01:23And then we talked about the influences, that we come into the influences and all this stuff.
01:27And we just go astray with the root and then we just get away from the God.
01:32And then, so do we lose salvation or do we lose heaven?
01:37That is the main question is always, I came in my mind and I don't get perfect answer for that.
01:44Like, yeah, thank you.
01:46That's a good question.
01:47Okay.
01:50Genuine acceptance of Jesus Christ is confirmed by commitment to Jesus Christ.
02:02So if there's genuine salvation, it is not lost.
02:06You can make mistakes, you will get back on track.
02:10You may get it wrong, you will repent and run back to him.
02:16So if your conversion is questionable, that is, you accept Jesus because you want a ticket to heaven.
02:30But you are not actually ready to follow his ways, that can be lost because it's not truly there.
02:39That's why this is a very sensitive subject because only God knows who is genuine.
02:48You know, Jesus said on the last day, many will say, Lord, did I not prophesy in your name?
02:58Work miracles in your name?
03:02And he will say, I never knew you.
03:06That's not just someone who is going to church.
03:09That's someone who is ministering to others.
03:13So you can prophesy, pray for people, and yet not know Jesus.
03:27Christianity is not a hobby.
03:31Christianity is not a hobby.
03:31It's a lifestyle.
03:34It's not a hobby you pick up on Sunday and then drop on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
03:41I live for Jesus when I go to church.
03:46But then I leave Jesus behind when I go to my job, when I go to my family.
03:59So, no one is above mistakes.
04:02No one is above temptation.
04:06But when our acceptance of Jesus is genuine, mistakes will be accompanied by repentance.
04:15Our seat is still there.
04:17We run back to him.
04:22Temptation comes.
04:23Oh, we fall to temptation.
04:25You don't stay on the ground.
04:26You get back up and you move on.
04:28That's how we are Christians.
04:32So, such genuine salvation is not lost.
04:40If you see someone who said, I was a Christian, and then five years later, they say, I'm an atheist.
04:49I would suggest it was not genuine.
04:55By our fruits, we shall be known.
04:57Thank you for that question, brother.
05:05You must distinguish between what you feel and what is real.
05:13Many times, our feelings and our emotions deceive us.
05:25Because they are influenced by many factors around us.
