00:00As Brother Chris was praying for us, me, my wife, and my children,
00:07I felt the mighty presence of God within me. I do not have the craving as it used to be
00:16before
00:16the prayers, and I want to praise the name of the Lord that He has delivered me completely.
00:23I don't look back into it.
00:31Praise and peace to you all in Jesus' name. My name is John, and I'm connecting from Uganda,
00:39and the lady besides me is my beautiful wife.
00:44So we are here to testify the goodness of the Lord upon our lives. In the year 2024,
00:54I happened to write a prayer request to God's Heart TV due to the problem that I had in quite
01:01a good
01:02time. The problem that prompted me to write a prayer request to God's Heart TV is the problem of drug
01:08addict. This drug addict, it all started in the year 2016 at the workplace when I happened to
01:17meet with a colleague who was using this drug, and this drug was called Midyaj. So the colleague was
01:25using this drug, and I felt to have a test of it, and he gave it to me. So when
01:34he gave it to me,
01:35this drug, you put it in your mouth, and you just chew it. So something that started as a drop
01:43of one day became part of my life or became part of my daily life. So I've been using this
01:50drug
01:51eight years from 2016 to 2024, and I realized that it's not the life that I wished to live,
02:03and I wouldn't wish to live with it. Several times I tried to avoid it,
02:11but to my own strength, I would go through one day or two days when I lock myself in one
02:19place to
02:20pray and avoid it. But after the following day, you'll still feel a lot of desire or a lot of
02:33urge
02:33for it. And then you find yourself back on it. This drug affected my life in a way that it
02:44frustrated
02:44me financially. There was a financial stagnation. And spiritually, because you don't feel that strong
02:54power spiritually. And also, as a married couple, of course, this also affected my marriage in a sense
03:06that there was a lot of communication gap between me and my wife. We wouldn't communicate, like with
03:17love and with intimacy. There was always a communication gap. On the other side, of course,
03:24as you saw in the clip, I am a man with a family. I have children. One of my daughter
03:32was sick.
03:35And this sickness has been persistent in her life almost every year from the same month of every
03:45year. I began to look at it in a sense that this is not an ordinary sickness. She had sickness
03:55that
03:55doctors. Doctors could not diagnose because she was feeling dizzy, loss of appetite, and general body
04:04weakness. I had to look for a solution. So until the year 2024, in the month of December, when I
04:18happened
04:19to know Brother Chris on God's Heart TV on Facebook, I saw someone when he had prayed for someone and
04:33there was a provision that if you need prayers, you can send in your prayer request. So there was a
04:41form
04:42and there was an email that you can send in your prayer request. So early December 2024, I happened to
04:50send my prayer request. And one of my prayer requests at the time was to be set free from drug
04:59addiction.
05:00To God's glory, I received a confirmatory email from God's Heart TV scheduled for interactive prayers.
05:12On the 15th of December 2024. So we joined the interactive prayer in the year 2024, 15th of December.
05:22Okay, our family in Uganda, let us pray. I'm happy you are connected together to pray. Let us pray right

05:31In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
05:33Christ. Every unclean spirit disturbing this family, come out in Jesus' name. Out right now.

06:33By God's grace, God intervened in our issue. As Brother Chris was praying for us, me, my wife, and my
06:46children,
06:46children. I felt the mighty presence of God within me. And I felt that something deep entered into my life
06:56and something left.
06:59I felt joy within me that prompted me to pray is the name of the Lord with love and happiness.
07:09And I saw my wife. She began to shiver at that time. And my children were also touched by the
07:20mighty grace of God.
07:22That's how we got delivered. After the prayers on the fateful day, I got a confirmation of my deliverance on
07:34the following day of Monday.
07:35Three dream. I dream. I dreamt I was coming back from work and the entrance to my gate to our
07:44apartment,
07:45a lady was cleaning a trench. And around that trench, I lost sight and I became blind completely.
07:56And I sat beside the trench. And the lady told me, sir, do not cross over this side. This side
08:04is dirty. I will dirty you in case you cross.
08:08So I sat on the trench. And I saw myself beginning to vomit. And I vomited the substance of this
08:21drug in the dream.
08:22And besides me on my right hand side was also my sick daughter that was sick at that time.
08:31I saw her also vomiting out whatever that was afflicting her. And that's after the vomiting is now when I
08:42got conscious and I regained back my sight.
08:48And then my instinct whispered to me that the door that has been open for drug addicts and sickness in
09:00your family has been completely closed for the glory of God.
09:06And when I woke up in the dream, I was very light, very happy and with a lot of peace.
09:15I do not have the craving as it used to be before the prayers. And I want to praise the
09:23name of the Lord that he has delivered me completely. I don't look back into it.
09:29So you mean you've not had any of those drugs ever since that prayer?
09:33No. And also my daughter, who was sick at that time, she woke up in the morning when she was
09:42very fine, healthy and with a lot of appetite to eat.
09:48After the prayers, the girl became very fine for the glory of God. Since then, up to now, she has
09:58never fallen sick, like the way she used to fall sick every December at the same time, every year.
10:07So I thank God for his mighty healing and his mighty deliverance to me and my family.
10:17We give God all the glory. And what's the impact been on your relationship with your wife?
10:22During that time, we could not sit together and smile like this and discuss together as couples.
10:30We had a very big communication gap. But now, since then, up to now, we feel God's love.
10:40As married couples, we feel each other for the glory of God.
10:46And also the same love has been moved to our children, of course.
10:51We feel a lot of love within us and within our children.
10:56Brethren, after the prayers on the 15th of December, God did mightily.
11:02I had a vision, I had a plan to go for Father's studies, but I was challenged financially.
11:11But after the prayers with Brother Chris on the 17th, that is a Monday, on the 17th of December, 2024,
11:20I went before my boss and I got a sponsorship for my father's studies that sponsored for my father's education
11:30in the professional course with Uganda Revenue Authority.
11:36And this course is for one year.
11:39This course allows me to practice at regional level as a supply chain consultant and a tax advisor.
11:49On the 17th of July, 2026, we were able to graduate.
11:58And with me here is my certificate of graduation, as you can see.
12:08And how has this sponsored course that you've done, how has it progressed your education?
12:16One, it has promoted career growth in a sense that I am now a certified supply chain practitioner and a
12:28tax advisor at regional level.
12:30By God's grace, as well, this year in July, 2026, I got opportunity to apply for a diploma level, which
12:44is called Piatra Diploma.
12:46And this course is ongoing.
12:50And the beauty of this course is to allow me to practice as a supply chain consultant and a tax
12:58advisor at international level.
13:01So this course is slated for one year.
13:04And here, as you can see, the copy of the same admission that states that Uganda Freight Forwarders Association, and
13:17this is my name as John and the student number.
13:21This is to confirm that I am admitted for a Piatra Diploma in Freight Forwarding.
13:30Also, tell us about the special thing that happened between you and your wife since your deliverance.
13:35It's the most remarkable event in my life.
13:40So after the prayers, that is in 2025, we, before then, we were staying just as boy and girl, but
13:52we were not legally married.
13:57But by the grace of God, in 2025, the month of this, I mean October, we were able to go
14:08for customary marriage.
14:10Praise God all over the world.
14:14My name is Mrs. O'Keele Winfrey.
14:18That I obtained that name after the customary marriage.
14:22And I want to thank God for the new things that he has been doing in my family.
14:27Ever since we got the interactive prayer with Brother Chris, everything changed.
14:33I see the love of God in my family.
14:36I see the connection between me and my husband.
14:39All the drug addiction that was disturbing, stopped.
14:45I see development in the family.
14:47I see a great, great, great change compared to those things.
14:52And you can confirm that your husband is no longer taking those drugs?
14:56No, no, no, no, no, no.
14:59He's no longer, he's free from drug addiction.
15:04To everyone that is connected in this call, one thing is sure, believe in the almighty God and also believe
15:15in his servants.
15:17And then to anybody who is going through the challenge that I was going through in the past, could be
15:29drug addict, maybe addicted to smoking or addicted to whatever kind of a challenge in your life.
15:39One thing is sure, run to God, because God is the ultimate source of our strength and the ultimate source
15:51of our salvation.
15:52Like I tried on my own strength several times to get myself from this problem, but to all know solution.
16:05Not until the higher grace of God intervened.
16:10So in every situation, run to God.
16:16And also, after getting into your deliverance, like now, after my deliverance, it's now my responsibility to take care of
16:29my salvation.
16:30As the word of God says in the book of Romans, chapter 12, verses 2, that we should not be
16:40conformed by the patterns of this world, but we should be transformed by the renewal of our mind.
16:50And once the man of God, or once you receive a prayer, believe that whatsoever you prayed for, or whatsoever
17:05you asked God for, is being done.
17:09So transform your mind and get your heart renewed for God's salvation.
17:17And also, what I would again say is that, I know some of us got into these challenges, or these
17:29issues of drug addicts, through friends, or through our associates.
17:38But we should not run away from them.
17:42We should now help them, and bring them close to God, and tell them the dangers of the drug addicts,
17:51or any addiction they are in, and then the beauty of it in God's sight.
17:58And also encourage them also to read the word of God, and pray along the word of God at all
18:06times.
18:07That's my word of advice.
18:09Because the best way to support a partner who's going through such addiction is to always counsel them.
18:18Because I remember I could sit my husband down telling him, this is not good.
18:22This is not good for your health.
18:25It will damage you.
18:27And pray to God so that you can get free out of it.
18:30Because for him, with his strength, he tried, but he couldn't manage to overcome.
18:36But with the grace and the power of the Holy Spirit, through the prayer of Brother Chris, he overcame it.
18:44So I want all ladies there to be patient with their partners, whatever the man is going through, make him
18:52know that you are still available for him, and you support him.
18:56Not to do that, but to always tell him the disadvantage against this thing.
19:06I remember one time my mother decided to take my kids for a holiday.
19:10And my daughter, my eldest daughter, was narrating the story to my parents, how now things are between me and
19:17my husband.
19:18And my mom was telling me that my daughter was even crying.
19:22She was so devastated about the situation of our separation.
19:27So it was affecting us as a family and also our kids mostly.
