01:14:58And it reminds me a great deal of the Cowboys of the late 60s when the stain of the Kennedy
01:15:03assassination marred the fabric of this community.
01:15:06And the Cowboys were a rallying point under Landry and Don Meredith and Roger Staubach in the late 60s when
01:15:13they got in the playoffs.
01:15:13There was a sense of expectation of the playoffs and championships in the 70s and kind of a blasé attitude
01:15:21here in this stadium.
01:15:22And now with the economy down and the Cowboys back, it's ironic and somewhat symmetrical that the Cowboys have brought
01:15:30a sense of pride back to the city again.
01:15:31And it took a couple of guys from north of here, Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson, to get things turned
01:15:37around in such a short time, four short years, from 1-15 to one game away from the Super Bowl.
01:15:47Jerry Jones said this morning that he had talked with executives of the Dallas Morning News, the local newspaper, who
01:15:54said that when the Cowboys win, they sell 10,000 extra copies.
01:15:59Not only that, but Jerry Jones' pocket from last year has been increased by 600% in all this Cowboy
01:16:09paraphernalia.
01:16:10That's right.
01:16:11The heck with the newspapers. Let's talk big money.
