00:00I think it was such a privilege to be able to support these incredibly talented actresses
00:08in such a groundbreaking, unique, strange, edgy, punk story.
00:14It's incredible what they did.
00:15And Zoe becomes a blade.
00:23It's incredible what she does with her body.
00:25I mean, we've been friends for a long time, and I'm so proud to see my friend flexing every artistic
00:31muscle in her being
00:34through the character of Rita.
00:36She sings amazingly, she acts amazingly, and she dances like a blade.
00:42She cuts the space, and that was fantastic.
00:45And I extend that to all of them.
00:48It was really inspiring.
00:50It was really inspiring to be surrounded by their energy.
00:53And, of course, to be in this intense and beautiful and tender and strange and unpredictable love story with Selena
01:04was amazing.
01:05It was so beautiful to perform with such a courageous actress, so raw, so open, so committed.
01:15It was delicious.
01:16How do you come down from a movie like that when something wraps?
01:19I haven't come down yet.
01:21And I love how into it you go with Gustavo.
01:24I mean, your facial expressions, the accent, the way you just curate yourself.
01:29What went into making Gustavo's character happened, and were there any significant choices or ideas that you had to let
01:36go of?
01:37Quite honestly, it was a very, I think that it was kind of like a stream of consciousness.
01:41I, because as you said, without revealing too much, Gustavo is a catalyst for things to happen.
01:49There was not much thinking going into it.
01:54For me, it was more feeling.
01:59I trusted Jacques Odiard with my heart, and so did he.
02:04He trusted us a lot.
02:06He was very open to our input.
02:10He was very open to our ideas.
02:12He made us feel so free.
02:14And at the same time, he was there to guide us.
02:16So that combination, that balance was very, very special.
02:20So I was just like, I was just ready, ready to play and ready to interact with all the elements
02:26that were thrown at us.
02:28And of course, I had the best scene partner in Selena.
02:33You know, we were very lucky that we were able to trust each other so quickly, so easily.
02:41It was a real, it was a beautiful, it was a beautiful thing.
02:45You know, we were, it felt as if we had known each other for a very long time.
02:50I mean, we felt very safe with each other and very quickly became each other's safety net so that we
02:56were able to hold our hands and jump off the cliff.
03:00The whole process of this movie was very sensorial, you know?
03:04It was not very heady.
03:05And I tend to be very, you know, like rational and kind of like, have an intellectual approach to things.
03:11But in this movie, I kind of like block that and just try to integrate myself into the story from
03:18a very sensorial standpoint.
03:20I mean, that's magical.
03:21It means everything's raw and you draw yourself to it.
03:23Yeah, raw.
03:23And of course, like Selena also threw herself in such a raw way that I just connected to that energy
03:28and just let myself go.
03:29Because I felt very safe.
