00:10does it work out? Watch as this man gets on the elevator, but his dog doesn't follow. He's not really
00:16paying attention. Look, the elevator just shuts. He's besides himself. When he realizes what happened, he doesn't let go of
00:22the leash. He thinks his dog obviously has been killed. Now look, video of what happens on the dog's side.
00:28And look, this woman's walking down
00:29the hall. There you see the elevator door shut. And then watch how the dog gets lifted up all the
00:36way to the top. But the leash, as you can see, snaps. The woman runs over to take care of
00:41the dog. And guess what? The bulldog is, he's completely fine, finally reunited with his owner when the door is
00:47open again. The pet owner did not want his name used, but he said it happened too fast to do
00:53anything. And when you get in those situations, you panic. And he hung on to the leash, you know, and
00:58I would have let go, but no, I wouldn't. Who
00:59knows what I would have done. You never know. When I lived in Miami, this is a true story. There
01:03were smashing grabs going on where they come up and they put a battery inside a pair of nylons and
01:06just go whoosh. And it would bash your window open and then they'd steal your purse. It happened at stoplights.
01:10Right. So our anchor woman, Sally Fitz was, you know, reporting all of these all over Miami. And she's saying,
01:14whatever you do, don't hold on to your purse. Give your purse up. That night, she's out. How did she
01:20hold on to her purse? Of course she did. She's like, you're not getting my sister back. I know, and
01:24it doesn't matter. But at the time, it's just your instinct. It's your instincts. Our instincts are telling me to
01:28move on to Dorothy.
