00:17alerts about the Palisades fire. Our dog sitter who stays with the pups when my

00:21wife and I are traveling reached out in a panic explaining that there were

00:25roadblocks preventing all entry to the Palisades. My heart sank and I couldn't

00:33bear the thought of having lost them already. My wife, she noticed that Jonathan

00:38Gigliotti of CBS News was reporting right around that time from the the

00:43Palisades Shredder High School is just down the street from our house.

00:48It was incredibly dangerous and too much to ask of anyone, but my wife, who was previously

00:57a journalist herself, kept saying, trust frontline reporters.
