00:00All right, so the impact of A.J. Brown going to New England will be what, in your opinion?
00:07I think A.J. Brown's going to make a pretty big difference for this team because you look at what
00:11they had last year.
00:12They had Stephon Diggs, who had put together a really solid season.
00:16Kayshaun Booty had a breakout year, but beyond that, they had a lot of role players who did okay,
00:21but, you know, were probably playing outside of the roles that they really want them to be in.
00:25And adding Brown and adding Romeo Dobbs really adds another element to this receiving core
00:30because Brown can be your guy who's going to both stretch the field and be a high-volume pass catcher.
00:37Drake May can rely on him to kind of drive the offense.
00:41Romeo Dobbs is going to be a really great number two receiver possession guy,
00:44just plays a role in that offense, gets open, and kind of operates as a little bit of a security
00:51blanket
00:51for when Brown can't get open.
00:52And then you add Booty, who's one of the best downfield receivers to the mix.
00:56All of a sudden, your top three receivers look great.
00:59And then you mix in Pop Douglas as a good slot guy, as a backup, Kyle Williams, young speed receiver.
01:05All of a sudden, the Patriots receiving core looks pretty good.
01:08And last year, if you looked at the receiving core going into the season,
01:12especially before they signed Stephon Diggs, you were saying,
01:14how is this team going to be competitive on the offensive side of the ball?
01:18So I think the addition of Brown just kind of puts everyone into the role that they need to be
01:23in to find success.
01:24And I think that's going to be a great thing for Drake May as he looks to make another leap
01:28in his third season
01:29as the Patriots prepare to face a tougher regular season schedule than what they had last year.
