00:10He always brings a lot of energy to the table.
00:12We've seen that in the early results for the Phillies.
00:15They're on the road this week.
00:16And, you know, give the Cardinals credit.
00:18Even with those trades, they sort of bounced back, hanging around .500.
00:21I don't think they're making the postseason, Tom.
00:23I think they clinched that with the trades that they made of Newt Barr and May.
00:27You know, but you never know in a three-game series.
00:30And it's more of the same.

00:38And then Zach Wheeler against Kyle Leahy, who's actually been okay for them on Wednesday.

00:46And, look, listen, I think the shoe has sort of dropped on the Cardinals.
00:50But their pursuit of, let's say, a .500 season remains alive.

00:56And the offense has been there for the Cardinals.
00:59I would say that this is, again, a good proving spot for Andrew Painter, who was terrible for the Phillies.

01:11He starts the season on the roster.
01:13He's terrible.
01:14They send him back down.
01:14He's been dealing with some injuries.
01:15This, that, or the other thing.
01:16You know, this is a spot for them to, for him to go out there and prove it against a
01:20lackluster Cardinals lineup.
01:22Because he needs to have, there's probably things that he's not going to make the postseason roster.
01:26But if he can prove something in these games down the stretch, the Phillies need that as an asset, potentially
01:31coming out of the bullpen.
01:32If you know who their top three are going to be with Sanchez, Wheeler, and Lizardo.
01:35They need that other option.
01:37Painter is, again, a good proving point for him right now.
