00:00If you're looking for sweetness to put inside our baskets
00:03I am the hurdy hurdy hurdinkin' market
00:07Everybody put your hands in the air, ho!
00:10Boom, pump, pump, pump, drop every bumble
00:13Everything fresh in market go bar
00:15The CPL
00:20Call it the Caribbean Premier League or if this one sounds about right
00:23Cricket playing louder
00:38The halftime show has now become a staple at the CPL final
00:42But what next can be added?
00:44One of the things that we're doing is that we've got this mega concert in Barbados
00:47Which is going to be produced with our sister company Live and Louder Events
00:52So that's going to be Movado, Estelle, Chris Martin, Mr. Vegas
00:59Some really, really big artists
01:00So it's kind of what can we do to
01:02Kind of that name Live and Louder is because CPL is Cricket Plague Louder, right?
01:07So what are we doing that's live and louder
01:09Across, you know, becoming an entertainment brand that's year-round
01:12And has touch points outside of just the CPL season
01:16So that's really exciting
01:17If people want to get their tickets and come to Barbados
01:19They don't have to just come for the cricket
01:21They can come and watch the Live and Louder mega concert
01:23Additionally, Miller says spectators at all venues will benefit from free health screenings
01:28So you turn up at the stadium
01:30You're going to be able to go and have your blood pressure tested
01:34You're going to be able to have a PSA test for prostate cancer
01:38You're going to be able to talk about your BMI
01:40All that kind of stuff
01:41So that's really exciting for us
01:43And again, it's just, you know
01:45The issue of non-communicable diseases across the Caribbean is huge
01:50There isn't anybody who you speak to that hasn't been touched with that
01:53Either that as a patient
01:55Or as someone who's had a relative impacted by it
02:02And prevention is better than cure
02:03Barbados will host the qualifiers and final in 2026
02:07And Miller says discussions are still ongoing on who will host in 2027
02:11The CPL finals has become a really, really important property
02:14I think in terms of regional tourism
02:17In Barbados, we've sold out the final
02:21And 75 or 80% of those tickets have been bought by ticket purchasers
02:25Outside of Barbados
02:26It's going to be very, very difficult to get a hotel room in Barbados
02:29In a time when, traditionally speaking, Barbados doesn't have tourists
02:31In August and September, right?
02:33So that's massive
02:35So yeah, I mean, I hope there's going to be lots of competition for it
02:40Wherever they send me, I'll be delighted
02:42You know, Guyana has been a fantastic host for the last three years
02:45There have been some amazing finals there
02:48Barbados has its go this year
02:49Which I'm sure regional cricket fans will be excited about
02:53Say, hey, party time
02:55Let me see the rocks
02:56Let me see your vlogs
02:59We'll, we'll, we'll, we'll, we'll
03:03In the stocks
