**A single strike... and twelve springs burst from a rock.**
When the Children of Israel became thirsty in the wilderness, Allah answered the supplication of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him). By Allah's command, the rock was struck with a staff, and **twelve springs** gushed forth—one for each tribe.
This miracle reminds us that Allah's provision is limitless. When all worldly means seem to disappear, Allah can provide from places we never imagine.
**"And when Musa prayed for water for his people, We said, 'Strike the rock with your staff.' Then twelve springs gushed forth from it. Every people knew its watering place..."**
**— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:60)**
The Qur'an mentions this miracle again in:
**Surah Al-A'raf (7:160)**
