For weeks, Madinah suffered from drought. During Jumu'ah, a man stood and asked the Prophet ﷺ to pray for rain. Before the gathering dispersed, Allah answered with rain that lasted an entire week.
The following Friday, the people returned and asked for the rain to stop. Once again, Allah answered.
