00:24It's such an honor.
00:25I met, I actually met Paul McCartney at an event a couple weeks ago,
00:29and he said that he was a fan of my music, so that was just so crazy.
00:33And the fact that Lindsey would be here is such an honor because I was just talking to him back
00:39there,
00:39and I was like, dude, he was like, I'm really impressed with what you're doing.
00:42I was like, bro, you're like an influence.
00:45This is all because of you, man.
00:46So I'm just like so thankful to even be able to have a conversation with someone like Lindsey,
00:52one of my all-time heroes, and it's just such an honor.
00:55Well, I know when we did this interview initially,
00:57My Body Isn't Ready was just about to come out.
01:00What has the response to that song in particular meant to you?
01:05It's quite beautiful.
01:06I think it's become a song for my fans that kind of go through the same struggles with their body
01:13image that I've gone through,
01:14and I think I'm glad that I've given people a song that talks about things that I feel like there
01:22weren't really many songs talking about that,
01:24which is issues with body image.
01:27So it was really important for me to do because I always wanted a song like that.
01:32And, yeah, it seems like when I've been playing it for the first few times at some festivals and some
01:37shows,
01:37I just played it at Lollapalooza, and the response is just crazy.
01:42Everyone sings the lyrics.
01:43People are crying.
01:44People are getting vulnerable.
01:45So I'm just glad it's doing something, and I'm just very happy about it.
01:52Your good friend Taylor Swift did say that that is actually something that she credits you for,
01:57is this idea of men getting more vulnerable and how important that is in society.
02:02Have you actually, let me ask you real quick, have you previewed for her any of your new music?
02:06Because I know there's an album percolating.

02:27How is that kind of previewing what we're going to see for the show?
02:30I would say that's a very small, you know, we're kind of limited at the festival,
02:34so that's a very small hint of what the arena tour in the U.S. this fall is going to
02:37be.
02:37Let me just say, it is going to be the craziest production I've ever done,
02:41like the craziest you've ever seen, and like I'm not making any money on this tour.
02:46I'm spending all the money trying to make the best show possible
02:49because I just want to give my fans the best experience possible, and I'm so excited.
