00:35Happy Thursday to everyone out there.
00:38So I posed the question before we went to break.
00:41If you were set to go to prison for 50 years
00:44and the judge let you have the weekend to yourself,
00:47but you got to report back that Monday to do those 50 years,
00:51where would you go?
00:53What would you do?
00:54How would you handle this?
00:55That's 713-572-4610.
00:58I'm guessing you can't leave the country, right?
01:01You can do whatever you want.
01:02You're not supposed to.
01:04Well, okay, for our purposes, you can.
01:06I'm literally asking what would you do.
01:09You going to catch that Marley?
01:10This is very open, man.
01:11Oh, yeah.
01:11I could maybe try to catch that Marley.
01:13But I would do it.
01:15Yeah, definitely I would leave the country.
01:17I'm trying to think where I would go.
01:19Would you be like the 713 who said they're running to Iran
01:21so they don't get extradition?
01:22I would look up the non-extradition countries.
01:25That's for darn sure.
01:27Go to Iceland and see.
01:30But as far as what I would do.
01:32Is Iceland extradite?
01:34I don't know if it is or not.
01:35Iceland is a part of Denmark, right?
01:37Is Greenland?
01:38I don't remember.
01:40I don't either.
01:42No, it would involve.
01:44Would you try to escape?
01:45No, Greenland is part of it.
01:46Iceland is not.
01:46Get out of that 50 years.
01:48Would you try to take off and run?
01:49I mean, I think the thought would cross my mind.
01:53But I probably would not.
01:55I would just be crazy for one weekend.
01:58Fishing, drinking.
01:59Family.
02:00Family.
02:01Food.
02:01Women.
02:02Women.
02:03I mean, what?
02:03Is my wife going to get mad at me?
02:04No, I'm just kidding.
02:06Wow.
02:07Hey, she's going to leave your ass anyway.
02:08That's right.
02:09You've gone for 50 years.
02:10I'm gone for 50 years.
02:11Yep.
02:12Yeah.
02:13Well, that was awful.
02:13Let me.
02:14Even I can admit that was awful.
02:16By the way, might as well sleep with the neighbor next door.
02:19Oh, that's right.
02:19Wow.
02:20You just out here looking.
02:21I'm going to cause havoc is what I'm going to do.
02:24So, the reason I asked it, this wasn't just a question out of nowhere.
02:28This actually happened here in Houston.
02:31What?
02:31Wow.
02:32Yeah.
02:32So.
02:32Oh, now I need to know what the right answer is.
02:34So, a man who pleaded guilty to capital murder.
02:37What?
02:38They gave capital murder a weekend?
02:40Yeah.
02:41Yeah.
02:41So, here's the story from Randy Wallace from Fox 26 News.
02:46Visiting Judge James Anderson apparently thought it was a good idea to get LVO Mancibo last weekend of freedom.
02:55It wasn't.
02:56LVO Mancibo took his chances and got almost three years of freedom before facing 50 years behind bars.
03:03Back in 2017, Mancibo shot two teenage men in a vacant apartment at the Steeplechase Apartment Complex in Northwest Terrace
03:12County.
03:13He was charged with capital murder.
03:152019, two years later, Mancibo was released from jail with bonds set at $350,000.
03:23While out on bond, he racks up at least five bond violation reports, failure to abide by curfew.
03:31He also gets charged with assault.
03:34After Mancibo's bond is revoked twice, the amount is raised to $750,000, which he's able to post and walk
03:42out of jail again.
03:43Friday, October 20th, 2023, Mancibo pleads guilty to capital murder and is sentenced to 50 years in prison.
03:52Get this.
03:53Visiting Judge James Anderson allows Mancibo to remain on bond for the weekend, telling him to return to court on
04:00Monday to begin serving 50 years.
04:03If he doesn't return, his sentence is 60 years.
04:07In court documents, Judge James Anderson states he wants to be the presiding judge after Mancibo is captured.
04:16We'll see if that happens.
04:17I don't think so.
04:19Man, what was he thinking, man?
04:20What was he thinking?
04:21And listen, if I'm that guy and I clearly don't want to go to jail for 50 years, and if
04:28I take off on the run, then that's just adding an extra 10 years.
04:32I'm taking my chance.
04:34Oh, just 10 years, 50 to 60?
04:36I ain't going to feel it.
04:36You're taking my chance, man.
04:38It ain't going to happen to me.
04:39Like, what's the difference between 50 and 60?
04:41Exactly.
04:41At this point, I'm going to take my chance.
04:44And they said visiting judge.
04:46Yeah, I don't know what that means.
04:47So I'm guessing whatever the other judge that was over there, I guess, was off.
04:54Yeah.
04:54And then somebody, I'm guessing, probably filled in and took that case because I know that happened to me when
05:00I went to jury duty.
05:02And I guess whoever courtroom that was, was out.
05:05So it was a visiting judge that was going over that case.
05:08Okay.
05:09So I'm guessing maybe that was something like that.
05:11That judge did not get too flicked.
05:12Hey, I don't, listen, I don't trust that judge.
05:15He up to something.
05:16Are they related in some way?
05:19Because now, like, all of this mess is going on.
05:22Now you want to be the one that proceed over this when they catch him?
05:27Nah, man.
05:28Something fishy going on.
05:29I'm glad you mentioned the visiting judge thing because my mom is a physician.
05:34And sometimes, you know, if she's out, somebody will be covering.
05:36And then she'll come back and it's just a whole bunch of work in her inbox that seems to intimate
05:42that the person that was there was just like, they'll deal with it later.
05:44That's what I'm saying.
05:45It does feel like a, hey, man, just come back on Monday.
05:48The person that's supposed to be here will be back.
05:49It's like a substitute teacher.
05:51They'll deal with it on Monday.
05:52It's like a substitute teacher.
05:53Hey, just make sure you come back.
05:54Pinky swear.
05:55Pinky swear you're going to come back.
05:55All right, all right, all right, you can go.
05:57Yeah, that's the silliest thing he could have done, man.
06:00Did it say what he did on that weekend?
06:02I know he was gone for three years, right?
06:04No.
06:05Before they got him again?
06:05Yeah, he was gone.
06:06Yeah.
06:07Yeah, he was gone.
06:08But, yeah, man, like somebody that's facing capital murder.
06:12Yeah.
06:13That not only, like, it's not like this was his first time.
06:17He, like, he keep making bond for some reason.
06:20Like, at this point, why is you giving him a bond?
06:22Yeah.
06:22But he keep making bond.
06:24He keep doing stuff while out on bond.
06:27And now you're saying, you know what?
06:28I know you're facing 50 years on Monday.
06:31Yeah.
06:31So just take the weekend and come back.
06:33Have a good time.
06:34Come back.
06:34Mom, 30 more minutes before I go to jail.
06:3630 more minutes of TV.
06:37If I was that dude, I would be like, all right, bet.
06:40I'll be back Monday.
06:41That's right.
06:42Wink, wink.
06:43Yep.
06:43I will be gone just like him.
06:45That was silly.
06:46Yeah.
06:46What the hell was wrong with that judge?
06:50It's a mixtape presented by Sheriff Injury Lawyers on In the Loot Sports Radio 610.
06:56I got another question for y'all.
06:58What would be y'all biggest worry if y'all lived next to a big abandoned building?
07:03Like, what are some things?
07:05Yeah, vermins is what I was thinking.
07:07Rats.
07:08Yep.
07:09People.
07:09Yeah, it might be some squatters in there.
07:11Mm-hmm.
07:11Yeah, yeah.
07:12Yeah, it'd be in a crack house or something.
07:14Yeah.
07:15Yeah.
07:15Yeah, homeless people just in and out and all that type of stuff.
07:19That would kind of have me worried a little bit.
07:21So, in West Hollywood, people are worried for their safety with, I guess, a big old abandoned
07:27building that's been across the street.
07:29And mind you, this is a, I guess, they were building an apartment building.
07:33Okay.
07:33And it's been about two or three years, I want to say.
07:37Mm-hmm.
07:37And it still looked like there's no working to it.
07:40Okay.
07:40So, they end up getting a lot of, I guess, squatters, I guess, I guess you want to call
07:47them.
07:47Yeah.
07:48Over there in their new apartments.
07:49And here's KTLA 5 with this story.
07:52The folks living here never imagine what would move in across the street.
07:57They say this abandoned building has turned into an animal shelter.
08:00And here's a little bit of what they have to put up with, especially at night.
08:08Not your typical neighbor.
08:09So, we have, like, a zoo here.
08:13Coyotes wandering the floors of this abandoned development in West Hollywood.
08:17This video shows a coyote with at least three small pups.
08:21They roam around.
08:22There's a little one.
08:23They're kind of straggly.
08:27At night, the neighbors say the howling is deafening.
08:30I'm scared to go to my house.
08:31I open my garage.
08:33I'm afraid if one of them not going to come to my house.
08:35Ava lives right across the street.
08:37I complain, where's Hollywood?
08:39And they told me they're going to talk to the owner.
08:42Who knows where is the owner?
08:43The development has been sitting idle for at least two years.
08:47Neighbors say the coyotes also pose a danger for small pets.
08:50Definitely keep them on leash.
08:52We did get them, you know, collars with little spikes.
08:55So, especially in the evenings or in the mornings, we put them on.
08:58What's that collar with little spikes going to be, lady?
09:01Collar with little spikes.
09:02We're going to give the coyote hot burn.
09:05This was like a little toy dog.
09:07This was a small ass.
09:08Man, that coyote going to eat that little spike and the dog.
09:12Those coyotes don't play either, man.
09:14And they're scary sounding.
09:17They really are.
09:19It's not a howl.
09:20It sounds more like a howl there, but it's that high-pitched, scary.
09:24Yeah.
09:25Honestly, I was laughing before I realized it was coyotes.
09:28I don't know why.
09:29Maybe I've just watched too many cartoons in my life.
09:31Yeah, I just thought it was like a bunch of dogs in the neighborhood.
09:33Like, hey, we're going to meet up at the abandoned house and bark at the moon.
09:36Yeah.
09:38That's scary, though, man.
09:39Really?
09:39That's no joke right there.
09:40Yeah, man.
09:41I definitely wouldn't walk my dog around here.
09:43You saw the video, right, Fig?
09:45Yeah.
09:45It's pretty.
09:46It was packed.
09:47Was it?
09:47Oh, really?
09:48It was packed.
09:49But also, like, the place that we're talking about, it's not.
09:51I mean, I know West Hollywood.
09:53It's not going to be rural, but it's not, like, suburban, is it?
09:56No.
09:56It's really.
09:57It's not.
09:57It looked livable, like you would live there.
10:00It's not like I'm in the boondocks or something like that.
10:03Like, no, it looked livable.
10:05Hey, man, remember we were talking about the hogs that time?
10:07Yeah.
10:08Yeah.
10:08Yeah.
10:09And the thing is, this apartment building was supposed to be built, and they just
10:13taking a very long time with it.
10:15Like, I don't know if they just running low on money, and they can't really afford
10:18to finish it.
10:19Yeah.
10:20But now it's just taken over by coyotes.
10:23I think Rob's got a very good, astute fix for this.
10:27Had they tried hiring a roadrunner to take care of it?
10:30I feel like we can get this cleaned up in two seasons flat.
10:35They'll be falling off.
10:36Yeah, yeah.
10:36They'll pause and then fall off the building.
10:38Just get a roadrunner with a subscription to Acme, and we're going to be cooking with
10:41grease.
10:42Yeah.
10:42I'm sure he probably got some people on the head.
10:43I shoot him.
10:44I shoot him.
10:46That was in Texas.
10:47I shoot him.
10:48I'm surprised we haven't gotten those texts yet.
10:50Just need to paint a train tunnel on the wall, and all the coyotes will be out of here.
10:55We got all them damn texts when them pigs was running wild.
10:59Coyotes are hunting.
11:00Where are them pigs at?
11:01If you got them hemmed up, I think that's a good spot.
11:04Yeah.
11:04Yeah.
11:04That's crazy, man.
11:07It's a mixtape presented by Sheriff Injury Lawyers on Sports Radio 16.
11:13I think I got time for this.
11:1520 years ago, around this time, Madden 07 released their Madden ratings, and it's seven
11:23people that earned the honor of being in that 99 club.
11:27Can y'all take a wild guess?
11:29Ooh, 07?
11:30This is the 06 season, but this is Madden 07.
11:36Man, I would just be guessing.
11:40Was LT on here?
11:41Not LT, but LaDain Tomlinson?
11:43No, he was not.
11:45I'll read them off because I know that's 20 years ago.
11:48Peyton Manning?
11:49Yeah, sure.
11:50I'm an idiot.
11:50Should have thought of that.
11:51Cornerback, Champ Bailey?
11:52Yeah.
11:54Safety and Houston, Texas legend, Ed Reed.
11:57Mm-hmm.
11:5899 club?
11:59Yeah.
12:00Left tackle, Walter Jones.
12:04Fullback, Lorenzo Neal.
12:06How about that?
12:06We had a fullback in 99.
12:08Yeah.
12:08Tight end, Antonio Gates.
12:10Okay.
12:10I love me some Antonio Gates.
12:11And then last, but definitely not least, we brought him up today.
12:15Punter, Shane Leckler.
12:16Look at that.
12:1799, man.
12:18Look at that.
12:19I say again, get that man into the Hall of Fame.
12:22He was a 99, man.
12:2399?
12:24Yeah.
12:25I mean, nine-time All-Pro?
12:27What are you doing?
12:28Hey, salute to him.
12:29What are you doing?
12:30Hey, he had to feel good playing Madden.
12:32I had a 99.
12:32I don't even know what a 99 punter does.
12:37A lot.
12:39I need to go back into Madden 06 and learn more.
12:43What was his speed rating on there?
12:46Was his throw power really high?
12:47How do you work the system to be a 99 punting as a punter?
12:51That's hilarious.
12:52I would have put his ass at quarterback.
12:54That's what I'm saying.
12:55I'm wondering just how broken he was as a player.
12:58Could I have thrown him at safety and he had a hung?
13:00You know what I mean?
13:00What are the sliders you have to get to for the punter to be 99?
13:04Or is it just a 99 punt and that's it?
13:06He was a quarterback.
13:08That's what I'm saying.
13:09That's what I'm curious.
13:10Could I have done some funky stuff with this?
13:12Could I have run out the punt formation and done fake punt every time and gotten a whole
13:16bunch of yards off it?
13:17I'm just trying to go through the Madden Sicko version of this.
13:20Yeah.
13:21Yeah, man.
13:22So salute to him, man.
13:23We got to get him in the Hall of Fame, man.
13:25Are we establishing this as a show, like, in the Loop LLC, we are going to put this
13:30on the docket of things that we need to do, which is get Shane Leckler into the Hall of
13:33Yes.
13:34Okay.
13:35It's ridiculous that he's not in the Hall of Fame.
13:37And he's a 6'10 fan, too, man.
13:39He's a big 6'10 fan.
13:40I'll never forget the night that Astros got to the World Series in 2017.
13:44I was doing the show here.
13:45Mm-hmm.
13:46And he called in.
13:47He's like, hey, this is Shane Leckler.
13:49Want to talk about the Astros?
13:50And I'm like, wait, is this?
13:52I'm like, that's Shane Leckler?
13:53The Shane Leckler?
13:54And he was just like, yeah, you watch football, right?
13:58Yeah.
13:59What a great way.
14:00What a great way to do it.
14:02I was not expecting him, man.
14:03It's not quite, do you know?
14:05Yeah.
14:05It wasn't, do you know who I am?
14:07You watch football?
14:08Yeah.
14:09I was just like, oh, like, I was not expecting you to call.
14:12Let me find out that the OG Randy be out here, like, Google me.
14:16Yeah.
14:17Yeah.
14:18I mean, it was a sports show.
14:20They're covering them.
14:21You're not wrong, Shane.
14:22You're not wrong.
14:23It just threw me off a little bit.
14:24Man, like, just imagine somebody call right now.
14:27Hey, how you doing?
14:28It's JJ.
14:28Why don't I want to talk about the Houston Astros?
14:31Yeah.
14:31Wait, who is this?
14:33God threw me off a little bit, but you watch football, right?
14:36That's good.
14:37I love that.
14:382006, he had a 47.5-yard average.
14:42And I was trying to find how many inside the 20, but I couldn't find them.
14:45Okay.
14:45All right.
14:47Shane Leckler, Hall of Famer.
14:48Yeah.
14:48I'm going to have to put this on the docket.
14:51In Loop LLC will make it a part of our mission as a business.
14:56Is it a punter that's close to the 99 club in this day and age?
15:01That's a good question.
15:02I mean, I'm going to have to look.
15:03Yeah.
15:04Please do.
15:04Please do.
15:05Bring us back.
15:06Because even looking on this list, it's like, you got a fullback on here.
15:10It's kind of versatile a little bit, man.
15:12It's not just quarterbacks, receivers, running backs.
15:14Now that you mention it, I used to play, you know, the mini games that Madden had.
15:17I used to play that little coffin punt.
15:19The coffin corner thing.
15:20The coffin corner punt.
15:22There we go.
15:23A mini game with Shane Leckler all the time.
15:26Oh, you did?
15:26Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:27Now that you mention it, that was a memory that just got unlocked.
15:29Highest rated punter for 2026, A.J. Cole from the Raiders, 85.
15:34That is not 99.
15:36Logan Cook, Jaguars, 84.
15:37Okay.
15:38All right.
15:39I've never thought about those gentlemen in my life, to be entirely honest, with all due respect to them.
15:43All right.
15:44That's the mixtape.
15:45You catch it every weekday, 1.20 p.m. right here in Loop on Sports Radio 610.
15:49If you see something mixtape worthy, check him.
