00:00In Venezuela, more than 640 communities in La Guayra State are currently receiving regular
00:06supplies of household gas as part of the comprehensive recovery efforts on the way in this coastal
00:11state.
00:12Our correspondent Luis Tavera has more details.
00:17This is the logistical deployment driving the state's operational recovery.
00:21Trucks, staff and filling stations operating at full capacity, ready to ensure a constant
00:26supply of household gas in every sector.
00:30To provide comprehensive assistance to the areas affected by the earthquake on June
00:3524, a technical team of more than 140 professionals and engineers began operations in record time.
00:42The technical assessment includes the safe removal of 49 stationary tanks and effective
00:47coverage in 649 communities through the distribution of more than 133,000 gas cylinders.
00:55My appreciation to all the workers of PDVSA Gas Communal and the La Guayra Gas Company, our
01:00commitment to the people of La Guayra, to continue ensuring that this service is of the highest
01:04quality, so that we can guarantee comprehensive care for our people.
01:08Added to this is the comprehensive provision of public services.
01:10Today, 99% of basic services have been restored.
01:15This comprehensive effort is further strengthened by the launch of a modern facility that will
01:20directly benefit the communities.
01:31ensure full coverage without intermediaries, these units will be deployed on a mobile basis
01:37throughout La Guayra, optimizing response times.
01:45As you can see here, this is a mobile truck called a mobile plant, which has five types of gas
01:49filling systems.
01:54It's mobile because it can be transported anywhere in our state together with a gas tanker that
01:58we have there, we go and fill the tanks on site.
02:02For example, if we're working in the Karuao Parish, we collect all the empty gas cylinders with small
02:07trucks, and with these units from Caracas, we can refill them quickly and efficiently.
02:14Behind every number and every cylinder delivered, the face of deep commitment pulse.
02:21Despite everything we're going through, we're continuing to serve our communities, knowing
02:24that this is an essential service and that families, especially those most in need, should
02:28not be without it.
02:31With the vehicles ready and on the road, the distribution route sets off toward its first
02:36destination, a community.
02:37There, the neighborhood organization and teamwork are clearly evident.
02:41Rosabel Rodriguez, representing her community, receives the gas cylinders and checks to make
02:46sure everything is in order.
02:54This area was slightly affected, but we've had gas service since day two.
02:58Gas is delivered every 10 to 15 days.
03:01We can't say there's a shortage of electricity.
03:03Well, despite the problems we've faced, a double earthquake look.
03:08The electricity and water services have been working.
03:13Every route completed and every home served confirm that unity and the will to work are invincible.
03:19Thanks to the tireless efforts of its people and the government focused on the streets,
03:23the Venezuela Rises plan is moving forward with steady strides in every corner of La Guara.
