'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' just joined the billion-dollar club. Sony Pictures announced that the superhero movie starring Tom Holland and Zendaya has grossed $1.05 billion in its first six days. This makes it the second-fastest film to achieve this milestone, behind only 'Avengers: Endgame,' which launched with $1.2 billion worldwide in its opening weekend in April 2019.

00:36Sony confirmed Monday that Brand New Day had swung ahead to claim the title with $360 million.

00:44Holland told The Hollywood Reporter this when asked if he wants to continue donning the Spidey suit.

00:51So if this movie does good, I guess we'll see.
00:55So does the film's high-swinging box office performance mean another Spider-Man movie

01:00Well, Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman tells THR there have yet to be concrete talks about
01:05Holland returning as Spider-Man for a fifth film, only aspirational ones.
01:09But Rothman did reveal that he was just as excited as fans were to hear that the actor
01:14would love to continue playing the role.
