00:00Join us as we look on in Wanda at the Boy Wizard's latest adventure in what must be the longest
00:05titled film in the world,
00:08Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
00:10These are dark times, there is no denying.
00:13They are indeed. Now, remind me, what's this all about then, and who's that specky guy?
00:18Harry Potter.
00:18Oh yes, Potter. And just to recap, there's no love lost between the Boy Wizard and this nasally challenged chap
00:25is there.
00:26The boy who lived, come to die.
00:28Why do you live?
00:32Because I have something worth living for.
00:34Well, I'm not surprised. You have something worth living for, Daniel.
00:37After all, you and your embryonic co-stars have screwed away anywhere from 15 to 30 million pounds.
00:43And that's even before the release of the last two films.
00:46So we're not surprised old he-who-must-not-be-named is cheesed off with you.
00:50And let's face it, he's not the only one.
00:52After his failings in the previous film, he knows he can't really hold his head high.
00:57That's a bit rich, Malfoy. After all, not one of you excelled in those early days.
01:02Well, I'm truly out of his league as well. Wowzers.
01:04You are one bitter man, but at least you're in the minority.
01:08He's not this amazing, good-looking person. He's a bit of a wet, he's a bit of a geek.
01:12Okay, cool it, guys. You're just picking on him because he's the lead and he's too nice to get angry
01:17or hit back.
01:18Who on earth gave you such unpleasant ideas?
01:21I have been a pretty poor, negligent or abusive father.
01:25Okay, come on, chaps. Pull yourselves together. This is Harry Potter, not Jeremy Kyle.
01:29Now, can anyone at least tell me what this film is all about?
01:32There's a war about to start.
01:33Thanks, Johnny Rotten. Now, that's a start.
01:36He knows that anybody who's around him stands to be contaminated and probably harmed by the same people that want
01:44to kill Harry.
01:44Sounds ominous. An old chuckles himself. Voldemort has definitely got the hump.
01:48I must be the one to kill Harry Potter.
01:51Nice guy. Looks like Voldemort is the ultimate badass in this one.
01:54His power has got greater and greater.
01:56The last thing to do is to find Harry Potter and destroy him.
01:59But, fortunately for Harry, he can count on his friends as usual.
02:03I thought you knew what you were doing. I thought Dumbledore would have told you something worthwhile.
02:06Your parents are dead. You have no family.
02:09Well, at least he has the love of a good woman.
02:11And talking of smoking redheads, what about the lovely Miss Granger?
02:15If not ugly duckling to beautiful swan, then certainly gawky cub to stone-cold fox.
02:20She's this incredible role that I've been given the chance to play.
02:23So much in these big film franchises, women are just kind of like a pretty face.
02:28Face facts, Emma. You may have a top role, but there's no denying it. You are a pretty face.
02:33I'm blessed.
02:34So are we, Emma. So are we.
02:36As always, the film is jam-packed with top Brit-Irish talent, with welcome returns for
02:40Deep Breath, Michael Gambon, Brendan Gleeson, Nick Moran, Alan Rickman, Timothy Spall, Helena Bonham Carter,
02:47Ralph Fiennes, Bill Nighy, David Fulis, Robbie Coltrane, Imelda Staunton, Jason Isaacs,
02:51Risa Fanns, John Hurt, and Peter Mullen.
02:54Phew. As well as for kids.
02:56So, what did we make of this latest instalment?
02:58Like the Dark Lord's power himself, the Potter film seemed to get stronger each year,
03:03as this is the best film of the series so far.
03:05Richer, darker, and more compelling.
03:07So we're giving this a spellbinding four stars.
03:14I have seen your heart.
03:18And it is mine.
