00:00Is the 13th time the charm? President Trump has issued a fresh deadline for Iran to make a deal
00:06or face a massive attack. If you feel like you've heard me say that before,
00:09that's because I have. It's the 13th time the president has done so since the start of the war.
00:14Speaking from the Oval Office on Monday, the president said he called off a massive attack
00:18over the weekend after Iran, with the encouragement of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar
00:23asked for more time to reach a deal. I want to give them every last chance before decapitation,
00:28but hopefully they'll come to their senses. So they called me and they said, please don't attack,
00:35we'll make a deal. That's the real truth and everyone knows it. They knew what was coming.
00:41It was going to come last night and it would have gone on for a long time and there'd be
00:47essentially very little left. There'd be nothing left and if I'm given a chance to let a lot of
00:56people live, I want to give that chance. The president has repeatedly threatened to military
01:02action only to extend deadlines or pause strikes as diplomacy continues. But at least the two sides
01:08are negotiating, right? Well, not as far as top leaders in Tehran are concerned. Iran continues
01:13to deny it's doing anything in regards to negotiating directly with the United States,
01:18insisting any current talks are being handled through Oman and are limited to reopening the Strait
01:23of Hormuz.
