00:00Jason, how are you?
00:02So good.
00:02How are you, Eric?
00:03I'm good, thanks.
00:05I had a blast watching these last three weeks, and it's a loss for us fans that you are out.
00:09How are you doing?
00:10I'm doing well.
00:11I missed the house.
00:13I see where I went wrong.
00:14Let me try again.
00:17Unfortunately a 12-0 vote.
00:18Did it sting that ultimately no one gave you a sympathy vote or people kind of tried to
00:22go out on a ledge and keep you here?
00:24In the moment it stung, but I could see the writing on the wall the minute I lost the
00:28blockbuster.
00:29I felt like I should have pushed a little harder to make Mallory feel more comfortable
00:33because I think she would have had the votes to stay.
00:35I think maybe it could have happened, but I would have rather it be her than me.
00:40Yeah, it was pretty back and forth like on the live feeds.
00:42And then there was talk of things shifting and ultimately getting rid of Mallory.
00:45If you won blockbuster, who were you going to vote out?
00:47Were you going to vote Lala out?
00:48I think I would have probably voted Lala out, unfortunately, just as a game move.
00:55I had no way to make trust with some people.
00:57And I was telling Melody, Mallory, Lyric, like, this is my way to prove trust to you
01:01guys that I'm with you guys and I'm for the other side of the house.
01:04That would have sucked to have voted Lala out, but Taylor would not budge on her decision.
01:08So I had a feeling it was probably not going to happen for me this time around.
01:11We saw a whole lot of drama between you and Kamu this past week, including the iconic tea party,
01:16of course.
01:16From your perspective, now that you're out of the house, do you feel like him coming after
01:20you was game or was it personal?
01:23Um, you know, it felt a little personal in the house because at that point I didn't win the veto
01:28and I didn't know what was, what are we doing here?
01:31I thought we were really having a beautiful tea party.
01:33So, uh, you know, hearing everything outside of the house after the fact, I was like, wow,
01:39I think that was a bigger moment than I realized, um, in the tea party.
01:43I think that was my, everyone's like, how do you, have you discovered Jason?
01:47Like you went in the house to play as Jason.
01:48Did you discover who that is?
01:49And I discovered who Jason was in that tea party moment, you know, being pinned against
01:53the wall with no one to my rescue.
01:55And the way that I felt like I had to drop the persona, drop the drag queen and just,
02:00you know, speak for myself.
02:02And I feel like, you know, the way I handled myself, I'm impressed with myself, right?
02:06I don't know how many people would actually be able to handle something like that.
02:09And I know people have felt in that position in their lives many times before, right?
02:13Being cornered, being picked on, being by themselves.
02:16You know, I usually probably just sink and cry.
02:19Um, so the fact that I was eloquently able to say what was going on in the house and
02:24show y'all that I was strategic and privy to what was happening.
02:27Like that felt, I felt very proud of myself in that moment.
02:30You should, because it was definitely hard to watch for us viewers.
02:33And so I definitely think you, you know, I commend you for the way you handled yourself.
02:37Now that you're out of the house, how do you feel about Kamu?
02:39Has your perspective changed at all on him in terms of him being as a player, but also as a
02:43person?
02:45Hmm.
02:46And it's like my feelings in the house were completely correct.
02:49You know what I mean?
02:50Like I could tell that he was getting very irritated with me in the house for whatever
02:54reason, just for me being myself, you know, drag queen taken out of the photo,
02:58just who I was, was a little threatening to him.
03:00Um, and I, I didn't know why he was so anti me, uh, you know, like, yes, messy game.
03:06Sure.
03:07But is that a reason to like go so balls to the walls against me?
03:09So all this stuff outside the house, hearing about it, I'm like, oh, it makes sense.
03:14Work.
03:15And it's, yeah.
03:17You ultimately were not one of the icons that entered the game,
03:19along with, you know, Angela and the two survivor players, but you are an icon and yourself,
03:23given the fact that you come from RuPaul drag race, a very iconic reality show.
03:27How does, did it make you feel ultimately that production chose to bring you in as
03:30one of the newbies rather than with the icons?
03:33Um, yeah, you know, cause had I, what if, had I told the cast I was on drag race,
03:38that still wouldn't have given me the privileges or advantages that the icons had.
03:42So I was always going to be at the bottom of a totem pole, you know, compared to the icons.
03:47They got H the first H to H, they had an opportunity to get power.
03:50And then I wasn't with them.
03:51So I lost the opportunity to work with them in that moment when everyone,
03:54you know, Haley started running up there and Drew, Drew apparently worked with them too.
03:58And then the America's favorite house guest time capsule, I didn't win the first one.
04:02So I was like, oh, I'm not popular enough against these icons to even get chosen for that.
04:07So I was at a disadvantage as far as being an icon too.
04:10It wasn't, I wasn't the same kind of icon, you know what I mean?
04:13And I don't think the house would have even viewed me as that had I revealed I was on drag
04:16race.
04:17So I didn't even feel the need to say it since I was not going to get anything out of
04:22saying that,
04:22it felt like.
04:24How overall did your experience at Big Brother compare to doing drag race?
04:28Harder, easier, more stressful?
04:30I would do it 10,000 times over again, over drag race, anytime.
04:35Drag race is so expensive.
04:37I, you know, I'm still in debt from all stars.
04:39And that's why I wanted to play Big Brother to win some money to pay off my debt
04:42and to maybe start a new life or get a new place I can organize my drag better.
04:47So I would do Big Brother 1,000% over.
04:50I mean, it would be a dream to go back in the house.
04:52I've been dreaming about it since I got out the house.
04:54I miss it.
04:56I know you've had a lot of support for the BB alum and you were very close to Frankie.
04:59What has it been like to see their reaction and see Frankie's support
05:02and all the other BB alum kind of have your back?
05:04What's that been like for you?
05:06It's unreal.
05:07I still have so many messages to respond to.
05:09I have not even been able to answer.
05:11There's still every day I'm getting more and more outpour of love.
05:14Like, it's insane.
05:15I could not have asked for anything more.
05:17And I hope that the BB alum who are watching this or hear this
05:20know that I'm getting to your messages and I see you and I'm so grateful for it.
05:24And I'm thankful.
05:26It's insane.
05:27I love that there's a big community.
05:28You know, after drag race, the drag queen, sometimes they're not your best friend.
05:31They're not excited to see you win after drag race.
05:34So to see a lot of the alum of Big Brother come to my side is just beyond.
05:40It's such a different experience.
05:41Straight people are so different from gay people.
05:43That's what I'm learning.
05:45No kidding.
05:46Speaking of making friends in the house,
05:48have you been in touch with Rome since you've gone out?
05:51Dude, I have this weird thing in my psyche that is like,
05:55Rome was my number one and he's the one person I trusted in the house.
05:59And without him, it was very hard in the house.
06:01So I've been talking with him.
06:03I cried with him.
06:05He cries to me when he's going through it.
06:07And already like I, you know, it's interesting how I trust Rome more than I trust my own friends
06:12in the real world.
06:13Like that was a true connection I built.
06:16He questioned me once.
06:17I don't know if y'all saw it on live feeds, but he said,
06:18I had a dream you crossed me, Jason.
06:20And I was like, I would never do that, Rome.
06:22Like honestly, and that really built our relationship even stronger because I had,
06:26I had to turn myself over to him.
06:28Like I wanted to, because I trusted him so much and I, maybe I shouldn't have.
06:32Well, I think you should have, because when I talked to Rome,
06:34he had such high praise for you and he did the same when he was in the house.
06:37So I feel like you guys honestly made a bomb for life.
06:40I just made game wise.
06:41I, I, for sure.
06:42But he already invited me to go to a wedding with him in a couple of weeks.
06:45I'm there.
06:46I want to fly to Florida right now.
06:48Like Rome is like, I watched the Spider-Man movie the other day and I was bawling
06:52because I, you know, Spider-Man so isolated in this new movie.
06:55I was like, I relate.
06:56And all I wanted was Rome to be there with me.
06:58And I knew he would have spoken up for me at the tea party too.
07:00That's the actually craziest thing to think about.
07:03Yeah. Well, Jason, thank you so much again.
07:04Like I said before, it was a joy to watch you and you made an impact three weeks in.
07:08I mean, that, I think that's all that matters at the end of the day.
07:10No, I know.
07:12I'm sorry it wasn't longer and I'm sorry I was messy in the beginning,
07:14but I thank everyone for being by my side out the house.
07:17It's so unbelievable.
07:18I'm so grateful.
07:19Yes. Jason, thank you so much.
07:21Enjoy the rest of your summer.
07:22Thanks, Eric.
07:23I'll see you.
07:24See you in the live feeds.
07:25Bye.
