00:06But it seems to me that the Diamondbacks are one of those teams every year
00:10that around the trade deadline, boom, they pull off some massive trade.
00:14So I'm going to look for them also to see what they end up doing here.
00:19And they took care of business against Pittsburgh.
00:21They've already won the series against Cleveland.
00:23And this is really without any good starting pitching going for Arizona right now.
00:27I'm not saying that Arizona is a World Series contender, Tom,
00:31but I really, I've said this for a while,
00:33I really think that they have a great opportunity to capture one of those wildcard spots.
00:38I do too.
00:39And listen, if the Diamondbacks go on the road,
00:43and what would the wildcard matchups be?
00:45I'm just looking at this quickly off the top of my head.
00:47But if the Diamondbacks were to go on the road and, like,
00:51do we like the Diamondbacks in that series?
00:56Now, granted, both teams are flawed.

01:00But also, like, Casey Mines could be a good fit for the Diamondbacks.
01:03Like, they need that front-line pitching, which they don't have.
01:05And you said this recent series against the Guardians,
01:07they have not had quality pitching going in.
01:09It's not just big names or calling up younger players.
01:11They need innings out of them.
01:13Brandon Fott's been, you know, injured, and he's been up and down.
01:16Ryan Nelson's finally back.
01:17He's been up and down.
01:18Zach Gallin hasn't been good.
01:19Merrill Kelly hasn't been amazing.
01:21Eduardo Rodriguez has been absolutely great for them this season.
01:23But they just need a little bit more, and they will be a team worth backing.
01:26Because as we talk about the Cubs, they are a complete rollercoaster of a team.
01:30And the Diamondbacks as being underdogs at Wrigley Field in that series
01:34would be very interesting if we're projecting that far ahead.
01:37Yeah, can you imagine if Corbin Burns comes back in September for them
01:41and all of a sudden joins that rotation?
01:43All of a sudden, then maybe Gallin is healthy and better,
01:45and Merrill Kelly, man, that's not a bad team at all.
