REGENT’s electric prototype uses hydrofoils and ground effect to operate over water; the technology is being evaluated for coastal transport, military logistics, evacuation, and surveillance missions.
The Viceroy Seaglider prototype, developed by U.S.-based REGENT Craft, has completed its first flight with crew on board, marking a new stage in the testing program for a platform that combines characteristics of a vessel, a hydrofoil, and a wing-in-ground-effect craft.
