Navantia has released a video showing the static dive of the S-82 “Narciso Monturiol,” which continues to advance through its sea trial program.
According to the Spanish shipbuilder, the submarine successfully completed its bottoming trial, static dive and first submerged navigation. The tests are progressing according to the agreed schedule.
The S-82 is the second submarine of Spain’s S-80 Plus class, developed by Navantia for the Spanish Navy.
