00:00I'm here this morning on Detroit's west side. This is Liberty Temple Baptist Church.
00:05This is the area of Greenfield and McNichols.
00:08And you can see a big hole right in the front of the church.
00:12A car drove in here early this morning.
00:15It was a man having a mental health crisis at the time.
00:19You can see this is the front of the church.
00:21That man is luckily getting help right now from the Detroit Police Department,
00:26which remains here on scene.
00:30They're going to come out. They're going to make sure the building is safe and secured.
00:32But as you come inside here, you can see that there's heavy damage to the front doors,
00:38glass and debris scattered.
00:41But luckily, the man is okay. Everybody in the church is safe as well.
00:46And he will be getting the treatment he needs this morning from the Detroit Police Department.
