00:37And I'm gonna show you a little bit of my gear and my guitars.
00:43So, the first one is this beautiful custom 8-string RG.
00:53Left-handed, also with DiMazio pickups.
00:57So, these are the standard DiMazios for Ibanez.
01:02Sound pretty sick, pretty happy.
01:05Also, this is a switch for single coils and humbucker.
01:10We mostly play single coil sound.
01:13Tone knob, volume knob, three-way switch.
01:18And this beautiful red color.
01:21So, these strings are the NYXL 9-80 from D'Addario.
01:26The tuning is E, B, E, A, D, G, B, E.
01:32Pretty standard.
01:34Like, drop E on the lowest strings.
01:36Standard E on the highest 6 strings.
01:38Yeah, I'm mostly using the bridge pickups.
01:43All the way to 10.
01:45All the knobs.
01:47And single coil.
01:48Okay.
01:48This one is my beautiful Ibanez AZ.
01:52Standard tuning.
01:54The strings are 9-46.
01:57D'Addario.
02:00Also, the switch.
02:03The 5-way pickup switch.
02:07Tone knob, volume knob.
02:08Yeah, I mean, some songs we use 6-string guitars.
02:13This is my standard 6-string guitar.
02:16And for the 8-string songs, I use the red one.
02:21So, that's basically how we decide what guitars we're using.
02:25I think, like, these 6-strings are pretty similar to the highest 6-strings on the red RG.
02:35I think, yeah, I just got used to this string gauge and feels very comfortable.
02:42So, these are our custom dead rose picks.
02:47It's like 0.75 millimeters.
02:51Very comfortable to play.
02:55It's great for rhythm playing.
02:57Yeah, that's the thickness I like in Emanuel as well.
03:01These are our quad cortex.
03:04We captured the sound of Emanuel's mix wave.
03:08Sounds pretty sick.
03:10Pretty happy with it.
03:11Like, Kian did the capture for us.
03:14And we're happy with it, for sure.
03:18So, everything, our live show is MIDI controlled.
03:22So, we can switch seamlessly the effects and everything else.
03:28I would say, like, for clean tones, we'll use some delay, some reverb, nothing special.
03:37Our distorted sound sounds very percussive and straight to the point.
03:45So, yeah, the magic is in the capture, basically.
03:48We don't want to use too many effects on the guitars.
03:52So, these are our in-ear monitorings.
03:54It's like RH.
03:56Very comfortable to wear.
03:57Very good sound.
03:59Yeah, I'm happy with it.
04:02So, yeah, my in-ear mix is pretty weird, actually.
04:04My guitar is pretty loud.
04:07The vocals are pretty quiet, actually.
04:11I have a lot of click.
04:12I have a lot of backing track.
04:14I have a lot of bass drum and snare.
04:16It's not a nice mix, to be honest.
04:19But it helps me to play as accurate as possible.
04:23So, we're promoting our record Angel on this tour.
04:27It's a lot of fun to play these songs.
04:29And I'm having a blast.
04:32I'm pretty proud of it.
