01:31And now Brian Roberts will step in as we're ready to get underway.

01:38And a swing and a miss, so a first pitch strike as we're underway here this evening.

01:46Now a swing and he pulls this one in the air out to left.

01:50Anderson is there and Roberts is retired to open up the ball game.

02:03On the ground down the first baseline and he'll step on first for the out.

02:13Miguel Tejada will get his first cuts here.

02:20And a fastball is in there for strike one.

02:27Big cut there by Tejada, but he misses and it's 0-2.

02:31Just a strike away from a perfect opening half inning.

02:37Good job of holding up on the low ball there and it's 1-2.

02:40Sometimes guys go down and get the soft stuff.

02:51So after getting two outs with three pitches, he's gone full to the third hitter here.

03:09And New Era Cap will give us a look at the starting lineup for the Angels now.

03:23And now to the bottom of the first inning as the leadoff hitter is set to start things out.

04:26Vladimir Guerrero will dig in with a couple of guys in scoring position and a chance to take the lead

04:31here in the early going.

04:33And a fastball just misses for ball one.

05:04That's a good job of driving through this thing to get it airborne, and he just missed a home run

05:08as the ball ricocheted off the wall.

05:21Rob Quinlan will step in with a couple of guys in scoring position and a chance to pad this lead

05:26a bit early on.

05:29Lays off the slider.

05:30Don't know quite where that missed, but it's 1-0.

05:33And now they've got a man out there with nowhere to go.

05:37And here's the tag, and he is dead in the water trying to steal home there.

05:42That didn't work.

05:45Well, with two outs, guys need to be bouncing around on the base pass, but he just didn't stay alert

05:50that time, and it cost him.

05:52Javi Lopez leads things off now in the top half of the second.

06:03And now a ball yanked down the third base line, and this is going to be a foul ball.

15:01well this guy's a pretty good pull hitter and he gives a great example here that's a

15:05great job of getting the bat through the zone quickly and it is see you later Rob

15:10Quinlan will get another shot he homered his last time hit hard back up the middle

15:17and that's in there base hit and in fact will rattle against the wall now

15:24well that's four straight hits he's surrendered now that's a good job by the

15:27catcher to go out there and try and calm him down so a runner at first with two

15:32away and stepping in as a former silver slugger winner and then guardo Alfonso

15:40swing and a bouncing ball toward the hole throw to first in plenty of time and the side is retired

15:50so three runs on four hits no errors in a man left on

16:07right back at him whoa but that's just self-defense as he spears it through the

16:12out Melvin Mora will dig in 0 for 1 in the ballgame

16:19swing and a hard hit ball down the line but taking in over at first for the second out as

16:24that might have been extra bases if it were three feet higher well this ball stung pretty hard but

16:29they got him positioned well defensively and it's an easy out now a ball swung on and hit high in

19:53look to capitalize Vladimir Guerrero will stand in two hits in two trips thus far on the ground

20:00is short this could be two on the first and Guerrero grounds into a double play

20:09exactly what you want your picture got him to bite in the first pitch and it turns into a fairly

23:06now he turns on one and rips it down the line but foul runner at first here one man out

23:17swung on and missed that time as Kennedy falls behind here oh and two

23:25now a bullet back up the middle and that is past a diving Tejada for a base hit

23:31and sometimes as a hitter you know you got away with one that's a pitcher's pitch out of the zone

23:37oh and two but he gets to it anyway and makes it pay off now a swing and a high

23:42fly ball and this one

23:43has some carry on it to deep right field dives and he hangs on for the out wow he takes

26:51so they pick up no runs on three hits no errors and a runner left on

26:57we'll look ahead to ending number eight now

27:30and this is pulled in on the run good concentration and there are two gone

27:35Jay Gibbons will stride in ground it out his last time through

27:41swing and a miss and he's behind 0 and 1

27:50started to go around there looked like he held up in time

27:53no strike two says the third base umpire

27:56bases are empty here with two men out

28:09so close but with one swing of the bat the no hit bid ends

28:23now time is called and this might be to buy a little time for that reliever to get loose

30:05time to be a good two-strike hitter here

30:07that means just concentrating on making solid contact

30:10there's the drive he got a lot of this one high and deep to center

30:15Patterson is back though and he's there to put it away two down

31:01and this is tracked down on the run and with that the side is retired

31:06angels leave one they lead it six to two

31:13runs up and gets one down here but it might not be deep enough

31:17and the throw will be too late so it's a fun single to get him started here

31:22and boy not really the guy you'd expect to drop on down here as he catches everybody by surprise and

31:28legs

31:28it out brian roberts stands in as he swings and misses for strike one in there and he's ahead 0

31:39swinging the ball pretty well hit out towards left center

31:42and this is hauled in on the run for the out and he had a lot of ground to cover

31:47to get to that one

31:49well this is a center fielder's ball if he can get there so he waves off the left fielder and

31:54puts it away

31:54now a swing and a hard hit ball back through the box

31:57and that'll get through into center field for a base hit the throw to third and he is out on

32:04a strong throw

32:07trying to take third there but he underestimated the outfielders throwing are by

32:11feet because he's meat at third base and this is fouled straight back

32:25now time is called and this might be to buy a little time for that reliever to get loose

32:33greg jones is on and he'll take over on the mound

32:37now a swing and a ground ball this should do it throw on to first and the ball game is

32:43over

32:46well this might not have been one for the ages but it was still a good competitive

32:50game here folks that's all you can really ask for

33:01so guys the halos come out on top in this one and dave it's time for our majestic play of

33:06the game
