00:24Tristan Banks the next to hit for the Angels he's a major topic of

00:29conversation the rare two-way player at the big league level it's pretty early

00:34on in his major league career but it's driving a lot of excitement around the

00:38game yeah Boog hard to not get excited about a player with this much athleticism

00:42this much talent just such a rare thing in baseball and you know just about

00:47every front office is watching him and dreaming of having their own guy like him

00:51in the organization the Angels have raced out of the gate to start the season

01:04cuts and misses it's a strikeout he had him out in front which isn't easy to do

01:09against a hitter like this known for using the entire field just couldn't sit back

01:14long enough on that one

01:19and he swings and lifts one to deep center field that one carrying out of here

01:27a soaring shot to center his 18th home run of the season and it gives him the lead in the

01:34third it's 2

01:352-1 he only needed one swing to square it up not wasting any time in that at bat

01:41Boog aggressive and it paid off Boog I wasn't sure he hit that one as hard as he

01:46needed to to get it out of here but it had just enough behind it for the homer

01:50what an attempt at the wall though he really gave a terrific effort to try and bring that one back

02:02fly ball pretty well struck right field carrying well and gone

02:11another homer his second home run of the game and they tack one on the board it's 3-1

02:19he's been so difficult to pitch against lately it seems like no matter how you attack him he

02:24finds a way to punish you that one is hammered right field carrying well gone

02:38and he's gone yard again that's his third home run of the game and they tack on to their lead

02:44it's 4-1 and that shot makes their grip on the lead even tighter Banks had a sensational showing

02:53in the win a special game at the dish with three homers though they may want to change how they

02:59approach him next time because he was just incredible in this one he looked like a threat

03:04every time he came up Tristan Banks getting set for this one all right just about ready for baseball

03:13Kyle Teal steps to the plate for the White Sox and we're off and running from Anaheim

03:33can't connect on the curve ball struck him out well that's a curve ball that I'm sure he wants back

03:39at the plate two strikes sort of pitch you're hoping for a bit of a mistake and I'd say in

03:44a very hittable location but clearly the break was enough to get him to swing through

03:48it this one in the air right field Adele going after it pulls it down and he makes the catch

03:54and there's two away so up next for Chicago

05:25sit down on strikes he's got to be frustrated with that call Montgomery wants another look at the cold strike

18:37there's one away yeah you mentioned how well they played Boog and I think it's a

18:43sign of things to come you don't win as frequently as they have by accident

21:16throw cut off to second in there he's safe now just a nice job coming through in a

21:22pretty high levered spot right there had a huge opportunity now to grab the lead at

21:27this point in the game shadow well in the box lays off for ball one you don't want to

21:33get beat by a fastball in and he spits on that one

21:39outside low ball two when you get ahead in the count there's no doubt that the success rate goes

21:44up and that's what he's been doing it's made a big impact for him in recent games that's off the

21:49mark ball three normally you wouldn't mind giving up first base but the power waiting on deck might

21:55change your thinking a bit bad spot for the pitcher here in this count and that'll load the bases
