00:21finally September 24th which is a Republic Day holiday at Price Plaza
00:26Chaguanas. Each event will be played in an open blitz championship format ensuring
00:31fast-paced and exciting competition throughout the series. The player with
00:36the highest total number of points accumulated across all seven tournaments
00:40will be crowned the champion. The tour offers one of the largest prize funds in
00:45local chess with 10,000 TT dollars and the championship trophy for the overall
00:51winner. Additional prizes include 3,000 TT dollars each for best junior and best
00:56female, 2,000 TT dollars for best under 12 and 1,500 TT dollars for best under 10
01:04with trophies awarded in each category. The tournament is expected to attract
01:09players from schools, clubs and communities throughout the country
