00:00And the PNM is saying that they knew what you were wearing, and you knew beforehand about the installation of the radar.
00:09They are claiming, the PNM is claiming, that you held a meeting with the airport's authority beforehand about the installation of the radar.
00:17Well, that is untrue, and I find it's laughable about knowing what I was wearing.
00:22I stood on the platform in Goodwood, and I went through in great detail the information I have and had about the radar when I got that bit of information.
00:39In fact, when the whole radar story came out, I was also learning that we already had U.S. Marines on island.
00:49Mr. Agustin did admit, however, he did meet with airport's authority officials.
00:56I had no prior meetings with the airport authority about the radar.
01:01I met with the airport authority twice.
01:04I met with NITCO twice.
01:08And those meetings, those four sets of meetings, were all about the new airport.
01:13Agustin said further lands are to be acquired to facilitate the new A&R Robinson International Airport opening, if any further residents would be displaced.
01:25No, no, and that's what I don't want for the development of that road.
01:30So those have been my only interactions with the airport authority and NITCO.
01:36The radar conversations that I've had, I've had them with the prime minister, I've had them with the minister of defense, and I've had them with the attorney general.
01:49I have not had radar conversations with airport authority and NITCO.
01:53As a matter of fact, I don't think that would be their purview, really and truly.
01:59So I don't know this nonsense about knowing what I was wearing.
02:05I don't know where they're getting that nonsense from.
02:10And with Agustin not being informed of the installation of the military radar in Tobago beforehand,
02:16he says the law needs to be changed to prevent the situation from reoccurring.
02:22My opponents were hammering me for not accepting the bills that were before parliament.
02:28But guess what?
02:29Even those bills that they presented, if they were passed, those bills will still leave the THA, leave the chief secretary,
02:39leave Tobago completely out of the national security conversations.
