01:51Instagram going out clubbing to a bit more of like a luxurious lifestyle that people are looking for I
01:57think I'm here for the summer to see what this influx of money looks like and discover how it's changing

02:19it it's only lunchtime but the dayclubs are already busy in the last few years they've been pulling in
02:25nearly as many numbers as the nightclubs for years now our beach has been one of the day drinking day
02:33party destinations that most people are going to end up out and yeah I'm really excited for today
02:57I've been here before as an influencer and like many others I got to lay on the sun beds and

03:31operation is his business partner Tony Truman hi Tony's business model has been to create a massive pool
03:46party where young Brits can rub shoulders with celebrities it's made him a multi-millionaire
04:03it's all the dance floor and the stage as you can see yeah you obviously got all the pool beds

04:08things like that let's have a little look back of house this is one of the real engine rooms they
04:17all do a great job from there just out the back here we have the medical room you you come

08:43early June means one thing in Ibiza the arrival of the summer party goers and it's not just the
08:50usual clubbing crowd but the wealthy and the VIPs too police here go from managing 130,000 Islanders
08:58to well over half a million tourists a day throughout high season at San Josep HQ a small team of

09:22work with drugs I used to tell always that a small town with the problems of a big city all

15:20across her on Instagram and she seems to be living out here and working out here so I'm wondering how

16:39to get there do you need to think outside the box in terms of the ways you make money unless
16:43you're doing something illegal if you're not selling drugs the next best thing would be like

18:36people come to Ibiza to do with nearly three-quarters of the people here working in the tourist industry
18:43this is the money they're chasing there's a whole online army of people here servicing the needs of
18:56the super rich and I've come across Alice who runs a concierge business called faith
19:15Alice started her company three years ago to serve the demands of the VIPs on the island yeah I'm ready
19:25so Alice talk to me a bit about what you do and what a concierge services so many people when
19:32they
19:32come on holiday to Ibiza they don't know where to start really so we can help with the whole holiday
19:37starting with villas hotels we can help with all their bookings here make sure they're going to the
19:43best places on the best day we have a lot of high-end clients here so it's important that they're
19:50well
19:50looked after and everything just goes as smooth as possible so with that level of money kind of
19:55flying around this island is there a lot of opportunities for money to be made here for
20:01sure I think because it is such a small island people have the opportunity to make money here
20:06if they want it they just have to work hard how do we make that stage it's there that looks

20:30team are prepping a yacht a family have hired for their daughter's 13th birthday
20:40Daisy's dad has paid well over a hundred thousand euros for a five-day celebration

20:52yeah it was starting almost oh was it like every time we come to Ibiza we go in a smaller

21:44Ibiza the best restaurants clubs and villas as well as super yachts like I've never seen before so

22:13for this kind of like VIP concierge lifestyle gone through the roots it's not easy to get in places
22:18now that especially in peak season you need to be know somebody that knows someone and that's who
22:23we are the demand is huge like Alice is the fixer so for instance last week we had a huge
22:30yacht arrive
22:30and to have a mooring here is impossible they came over from Mallorca actually and the captain and all
22:35of them were messaging saying we really need a birth in Ibiza and everywhere we called was saying
22:40they're completely sold out until I think it's October like the end of September and I managed
22:45to find one I feel like when you spend too much time in Ibiza you look at all these boats
22:56and it feels
22:57really normal feels like oh we're in Ibiza big boats big super yachts this is just part of the lifestyle
23:05and
23:05then sometimes you just need to snap yourself back to reality and think this is absolutely not normal in
23:10the slightest this is beyond so many people's accessibility yet it feels like this is just the
23:19fabric of the island like this is what makes this island so luxurious what really sells Ibiza is the
23:33image and making everyone last after the life you're living but flashing the cash like this gets you noticed
23:53it's 11 o'clock on playa den bossa this is where the two worlds of Ibiza come together the clubs
24:00and
24:01the money it's change over time from the day clubs to the night clubs a few local police are on
24:08duty and
24:09everyone's on the move it's like a stampede of people all going in the same direction going to
24:16the same place everyone wants to do the same thing on this island right everyone wants to go and have
24:21a party no one wants the party to end people seem like they're having the time of their lives yeah

24:29definitely become all of a sudden very manic before I know it the police have had a call right here

26:13different experience I've walked down the streets all around this island and I've seen so many people
26:20wondering about wearing expensive watches and wearing expensive jewelry expensive designer handbags and I
26:29think people might be like oh I want to fit in with the lifestyle of this island you know with
26:35this
26:35level of wealth increasing on this island I think the crime is changing the landscape of crime is
26:42changing on this island as well it's only the third week in June and already this month there have
26:56been at least five high-profile thefts of luxury watches it's Saturday night and I'm with the
27:04National Police to join their undercover detectives Udiko investigating big money crime on the island
27:13they've never allowed TV cameras to follow them before they don't want us to reveal their identities
27:21I'm a bit nervous obviously I don't know what we're gonna see and what we're gonna come into
27:25contact with but also you know I'm quite excited to see them in action because it's not something that

33:18ranking members of these gangs can often be seen in the vip areas of the clubs here on the island
33:25they're spending 30 40 000 euros on a night out partying on the money that they've made stealing

35:34they are throwing this huge party today and i want to see what goes into throwing something like this and
35:41also how much money it costs to throw a huge party in a place like this oh my gosh this

36:39into our own hands really yeah yeah alice has arranged for dancers fire eaters and acrobats to

36:54not much floor space here we're now thinking on the roof i don't know if whether it's gonna work it's

39:01companies like alice's barley is pursuing her latest side hustle her mum's over to help out
39:09everyone here wants things that look good on instagram because it's an influencers island
39:16so i'm preparing a tasting board it's going to be for a concierge company
39:23so my biggest will go for 650 euros and then i charge 50 euros delivery fee
39:32she always had a love for cooking and not that she's actually cooking when she's creating this
39:36i'm confident that really confident that she will do well i started doing this in april
39:44um this year i got my first order which was for four super yachts and i said yeah why not
39:50but i had no
39:50kitchen i had my large board which is for like 10 to 12 people all laid out on a double

39:58the dry produce and then i had to take those in a taxi on our laps to a friend's house

42:46of if you've got it, flaunt it.
42:50As the evening gets into full swing, I'm keen to find out more about the guest list and
42:55who exactly are Ibiza's elite.
42:57But before I can discover anything, I'm politely asked to leave.
