What happens when AI tries to predict the next decade of NFL MVP winners? Grant & Danny react to BetMGM's viral social media post that asked artificial intelligence to predict the next 10 NFL MVPs. The list includes some expected names, a few surprises, and plenty of picks that spark debate!
Transcript
00:00Bet MGM, social media account, posted a graphic they put together
00:06where they asked AI to give them the next 10 most valuable players
00:10in the National Football League.
00:12So I found this interesting.
00:14Now, the bad news is in the next 10 years, Jaden Daniels only wins one MVP,
00:18which I would say is a little bit disappointing, surprising,
00:22although you'd take it.
00:22The Commanders have not had an MVP in the National Football League
00:26in my lifetime, so that would be a big deal.
00:28Here's the good news, though, Toby.
00:30Jaden Daniels wins the Most Valuable Player Award in 2026.
00:34Oh, let's go.
00:36The bounce back is on the revenge tour is real, according to AI for Jaden Daniels.
00:44Now, if he wins the MVP award, I think you might win the division probably.
00:49I mean, it's really, really hard to thread that needle where you're the MVP,
00:52but you don't win the division, right?
00:54So that means Washington's probably 12-ish wins again, like they were in 24.
00:59At the end of the year, you're going, okay, it's the bread of this sandwich is
01:03Jaden Daniels playing like an MVP and winning 12 games.
01:06So you feel like he has now joined that Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Lamar kind of group,
01:12and he's got an MVP on the mantle at 25 years old.
01:16Pretty damn good.
01:17Be pretty awesome.
01:18And you're probably, like you said, you're probably winning the division,
01:21and if he's playing that well and you've won the division,
01:25you feel like maybe you can make a little bit of a run.
01:27So sign me up for that.
01:29Yeah.
01:29Home playoff game with the MVP on the field?
01:31Yeah.
01:32Sign me up.
01:32I think you'd be just fine with that.
01:34The following year, 2027, is where we're going to have to do a little bit of explaining.
01:39Yeah.
01:40What the heck, AI?
01:41CJ Stroud is your MVP, the Houston Texans quarterback.
01:45So I suppose they're thinking he's going about to have a renaissance.
01:49It's got to start this year.
01:51He has gotten worse.
01:54I mean, he's taken steps backward, right?
01:56But if he plays well this year and is in Houston and is their starter on a good team
02:02that's got a great defense and maybe he just protects the football, they win 12 games,
02:07they're the one seed in the AFC, and he sneak attack wins the most viable player award.
02:12I guess it's not the craziest thing in the world.
02:14Yeah.
02:14I mean, I don't feel like you sneak attack win the MVP in the NFL, though.
02:17Usually some quarterback has a ridiculous season, so he would have to be, I mean,
02:22you're thinking he's got to go for, like, 4,500 yards and 30-plus touchdowns.
02:26Drake May was a vote away from winning the MVP last year in a season in which—
02:31But he was incredible.
02:32He was, but I would call that, like, a sneak attack season.
02:36He didn't have monster totals.
02:38Sure.
02:38He was clearly the most viable player on a team that never lost with a pretty soft schedule.
02:42I'm not trying to take away from Drake May.
02:44I really like the player.
02:45But I didn't—like, he didn't have a dominant season.
02:48Matt Stafford statistically did.
02:50I actually think Drake May should have won the MVP.
02:52He doesn't think he had way less talent around him than Stafford did, but that's another story.
02:55If Sam Monson doesn't vote for Justin Herbert, maybe Drake May does win the MVP award last year.
03:02But my point is, like, there have been guys who aren't putting up 40 touchdowns, aren't throwing for 5,000
03:08yards.
03:08I mean, if the Texans were, like, 14-3 and CJ throws for 30 touchdowns and four picks and something
03:15like that,
03:16then maybe he could be that guy.
03:18Here's a funny one in 2028.
03:20A guy that is currently still in college.
03:23Arch Manning.
03:24And it looks like they list him for the New York Giants, by the way.
03:28Yep.
03:29As the MVP of the league in 2028.
03:31So I don't know where Jackson Dart is in this.
03:34I guess he's been traded.
03:36And they—the bottom fell out.
03:38Maybe Dart just kept taking hits, and they decided we can't keep doing this.
03:42So that would be his second season in the league he wins MVP.
03:45Correct.
03:46That's May last year.
03:48Because he essentially—the bottom drops out.
03:50So the scenario here would be the Giants suck this year.
03:53And they get either the No. 1, No. 2 pick and take Arch Manning.
03:57The Giants go 3-14 or something like that.
04:01And Jackson Dart either is awful and gets hurt or just gets hurt right away.
04:06And they're picking at the top, and it's Eli's relative, and they're like, we're doing this.
04:11We're getting Eli's nephew.
04:12And then he wins the MVP in his second season.
04:152029.
04:16Caleb Williams joins Jaden Daniels as a most valuable player.
04:20He's got the talent for it.
04:22So this—you know, that makes sense, right?
04:25Like, he could get to that level if he can actually make the layups.
04:28I mean, he's so good when he's playing off schedule.
04:32That's what's crazy is he doesn't get the guys that hit ninth and bat 175 out.
04:38He's great against Shohei.
04:40He blows the ball past the best hitters in the sport.
04:43But Luis Arias, you know, Luis Arias, you know, last night, takes him deep.
04:49Yeah, Nassim Nunez is hitting like 850 off of him.
04:52Correct.
04:52He really struggles with Jacob Young.
04:55Yeah.
04:55Jorbit Bebos loves seeing Caleb Williams coming, you know?
04:58Yeah, but I mean, CJ and James, they struggle against Caleb.
05:01If you're just joining us, this is BetMGM.
05:03They had AI tell them who the next 10 MVPs will be in the National Football League.
05:08AI knows ball, so they're all quarterbacks because, obviously, they have to be.
05:12So we've got Jaden this year, CJ Stroud next year, Arch Manning in 28, Caleb Williams in 29.
05:17Then Drake May makes good on just missing out with a 20-30 MVP.
05:22So runner-up in 25 and then the 20-30 Most Valuable Player Award.
05:26So what's cool about this is now Daniels, Williams, and May, the top three picks from their draft class in
05:3124,
05:32all have won an MVP award in the next five years.
05:34Yeah.
05:35It gets even more entertaining after this, though, because now we're getting into, like, further down the road.
05:41Julian Sayan from Ohio State, who was a Heisman candidate at one point this year,
05:46and a lot of people feel like could win it this year.
05:49He's got to be a high-end processor because he's not, like, the prototypical quarterback to come into the league
05:56now,
05:57but I don't know.
05:58Well, this is better, though.
05:59It's not just, like, Julian Sayan with a good program, whatever.
06:02Julian Sayan of the New York Jets is your MVP in 2031.
06:07It also means it's, like, five years in.
06:10So just to trajectory where...
06:11Yeah, because I think he should be eligible this year, so he'll be fighting with Arch Manning for one of
06:15the top quarterbacks.
06:16Exactly.
06:17So him and Arch from the class have both won.
06:19Jordan Love, who's a veteran at the end of his rope there, at the end of his career with Green
06:24Bay, probably,
06:25at that point in 2032, six years from now, what, will Love be, like, 33, 34 years old?
06:31Well, at that point.
06:32So a late career, Jordan Love puts it all together, wins MVP.
06:37Then in 2033, our first repeat MVP, call him two-time MVP, Arch Manning with the New York Giants is
06:45back for more.
06:46He wins it in 28 and 33, and then we got a back-to-back MVP.
06:52So these are nine and ten seasons from now.
06:55In 2034 and 2035, I don't know what took him so long.
06:58He was a late bloomer.
07:00Maybe Kirk Cousins had a long runway.
07:02Fernando Mendoza, the 2026 number one overall pick in his eighth and ninth season, wins the Most Valuable Player Award.
07:10So then your next ten are Daniel Stroud, Arch Manning, Caleb Williams, Drake May, Julian Sayon, Jordan Love, Arch again,
07:22and then the Mandalorian goes back-to-back, Fernando, with MVPs, still with the Raiders in 34 and 35.
07:30Is this an Arch Manning thing where it's just two magical runs and they go win Super Bowls over the
07:35Patriots who are, like, 17-0?
07:36Oh, please, God. Arch Manning's actually not that good.
07:40He's, like, league-average quarterback who has two really good playoff months and then he becomes a Hall of Famer.
07:46And we see him everywhere on every commercial.
07:48This is wild.
07:50I certainly hope, look, I hope that AI is wrong about nine of these or whatever.
07:55I certainly hope they're right about Jaden Daniels.
07:57Yeah, T.I., Toby, I. has got Daniels winning the next ten MVP awards.
08:02Yes.
