Jason and Cakes went to DC Prime in Ashburn last night for a Washington Commanders happy hour event. Cakes also tells a funny story about what happened to him in the McDonald’s drive thru!

00:45I think that's my first meeting person-to-person with Barry's Verluga that I can recall.

02:32I think we talked to him for about a half hour.
02:33He's a great dude.

03:18I mean, just what he's dealing with every day in terms of the structure and the building

03:31You know how when somebody, Jason knows, when you're building a house and all the little

03:41Well, I mean, it's also something that's going to be, you know, like somebody's, it's going
03:45to be Josh Harris's legacy as the owner of the Commanders, what the stadium looks like,
03:49how people receive it.

03:52You know, like, it's a big deal.
03:54And Klaus was saying he basically has multiple meetings every single day.

04:09By the time we were done talking with Mark Klaus and he started circulating around the
04:13rest of the room, that's when I had to look down at my watch.

04:18I saw it was 7.15 and this event ran from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
04:23And Jason and I kind of looked at each other and Jason goes, I'm out of here.
04:30And I said, in two minutes, I'll be following you.
04:33And in three minutes, within three minutes, I was sitting in my car in the parking lot
04:38punching in my address in waves.
04:40Well, you got in your car before I did because I did plan on leaving.
04:45But as I'm walking out, I see B. Mitch hanging out with Fred Smoot.

04:51I did not even see Smoot there.
04:53And he's so funny, especially when they're drinking.
04:58So I went over there and just said hello.
05:00And I ended up being in a 20-minute conversation with those guys.

05:07And they're just joning on each other.

05:09And so it was Smootie and B. Mitch.
05:14And I just sat there and talked to him for about 20 minutes.
05:17And then another friend of mine was there and talked to him and his family.
05:20So I got home, for me, pretty late.
05:23It did make me chuckle at one point when Adam Peters is talking with, I believe it was
05:28Barry Zerluga and Ben Standig, who's been on the show many times.

10:43So, I pop into a McDonald's on, I think it was off Route 7.

10:50So, I was like, let me get out of traffic.
10:51Let me get a delicious fountain drink from McDonald's.
10:55So, I go into the drive-thru.
10:57I order a large Diet Coke.
11:00I pull through the drive-thru.
11:01I get to the window to hand the cashier my money instead of, for some reason, I'm a dinosaur.
11:07And I gave her, I'll get 20 instead of a credit card.
11:11I hand her the money.
11:12She goes, the person in front of you paid for your order.
11:16Oh, my God.
11:17And I, I kind of froze.
11:20I was like, this has never happened to me before.
11:23I've never had anybody pay it forward for me.
11:27So, I just looked at her and I said, thank you.

11:32And I said, kind of as she's closed the window, I was like, thanks to the woman in front of

11:36And then, I relayed that story to my wife and my daughter.
