00:00how to use an mp3 song file as a ringtone on your iphone in this video i'm going to show
00:04you how to
00:04very easily use any mp3 or any music file as your ringtone on your iphone and if this video helps
00:10you please consider giving a like and also subscribe to my channel because that really
00:14helps me out so it's actually really easy to use a music file as a ringtone on an iphone running
00:18ios 26 or above but first we have to have the music file on our actual iphone so if you
00:24need
00:24a place to download free songs what i recommend is pixabay.com all you need to do once you get
00:29here is scroll to the right select music and then they have over 260 000 free music tracks
00:36that you can download for free by selecting that little download button so once you get the song
00:40downloaded on your iphone open up the files app on your iphone and just navigate to the actual song
00:46file so as you can see i have a song file here go ahead and long press that song file
00:51and then select
00:52share then at the bottom here select use as ringtone if it says that the song is too long select
00:58okay
00:58and if your song is too long we need to use an audio trimmer to trim it down to 30
01:03seconds which
01:04is the maximum length of a song so i recommend a tool that i created actually called convertresize.com
01:10i created convertresize.com because i wanted to be able to recommend a tool that does not require you
01:15to upload your files to a server all the actual tools on this website work directly on the browser
01:20on your phone so once you get here select the three lines in the top right select audio and then
01:25audio trimmer now we just need to select this and find the actual song file so i have mine right
01:31here
01:32it'll then load it and i have a preset made for iphone ringtones so now all we need to do
01:38is just
01:38drag that portion wherever we want the ringtone to be so you can select preview selection and it'll play
01:44it for you so you can move it if you want it to be right there and start right there
01:48you can also have
01:49it fade in and fade out once you're ready select trim and download mp3 it's going to go ahead and
01:54create the mp3 where all we need to do is select download mp3 and then download all right so once
02:00you download the trimmed mp3 we just need to open up the files app again find the mp3 that it
02:05was
02:05downloaded it's probably in your downloads folder it'll add ringtone to the end of it so it's easier
02:09to find so now just long press that file select share and then select use as ringtone it'll then
02:17bring you to the ringtone page we'll see it is now checked and it is our ringtone on our iphone
02:22so now
02:23it's added as a ringtone that's available for other notifications if you go back you can use it for
02:27your text tone voicemail anything like that so if i go in here and scroll all the way down to
02:32the
02:32bottom you can see that music file right there and all you have to do is select it and that'll
02:36be the
02:36new text tone if this video helped you give it a thumbs up and please consider subscribing to my
