00:00He truly looked like an alien.
00:01Like, I had never seen a dog that looked like that.
00:03He was so swollen.
00:05He just did not look like a dog at all.
00:09When the Dodos saw our fostering journey,
00:11they asked me to share more of my experience.
00:13I remember seeing his photo and all of us just saying,
00:16oh, God, this poor dog, like, just so poorly bred.
00:20I remember you talked a little bit in some of your videos
00:23about how it was so heartbreaking
00:24that people would stop you in the street and be like,
00:28oh, my gosh, is this your Frenchie?
00:29And you're like, no, he's not me.
00:30And he can't breathe, by the way.
00:31Or, like, he's actually really uncomfortable.
00:33He couldn't breathe.
00:39He has what they call a rope around his nose.
00:43And it's this aesthetic thing that is actually very cruel
00:47and unethical because it means that they can't breathe.
00:49So he had all of these crazy health problems
00:53and yet still had this happy, loving spirit,
00:57which I just fell in love with.
01:03Truly, I brought him everywhere with me.
01:06He went to parties with me.
01:08He went to bars with me.
01:09He loved everyone he met.
01:11He was just the best dog.
01:15Biggs had a lot of adoption meetings.
01:17We had a meeting and they came over.
01:21Within five minutes, I was like,
01:24do you guys have any questions?
01:25They're like, oh, no, like, we're just going to take it.
01:26I'm like, we love him.
01:28And they have gone to the ends of the earth
01:30to take care of this dog.
01:32And it is more than I ever could have wished for him.
01:35And I don't think he would have gotten there
01:37had it not been for the family who ended up adopting him.
01:40Oh, no.
01:40I don't think he would have gotten there
01:49had it not been for the family who ended up adopting him.
01:49Because I had to leave.
01:49By the way, if I was about to take care of this dog,
01:49When I'm like, I'm going to get the dog in my life.
