00:00There was some video on social media of the freshman-senior tip drill.
00:05Can you tell us a little bit about what that was and how that kind of breeds competition?
00:10It helps you work with the underclassmen a little bit?
00:12I mean, every day we're all out there competing with each other.
00:15No matter if you're a freshman, senior, it doesn't matter.
00:17In that case, it was a man-man and profit.
00:20Man-man made a play and profit just finished it.
00:22If you paid attention, you could see everybody on the sideline
00:25would probably get turned up with them running to the ball.
00:27I mean, it's a great atmosphere out here every day.
00:30Everybody's competing, everybody's getting better.
00:32So that drill is just like freshman versus senior?
00:34Oh, no, not at all.
00:35It's not technically a drill.
00:37It's competition.
00:38It's like a competition, period.
00:39I guess like the offense.
00:41The intensity level?
00:42Intensity, yeah.
00:43Intensity.
00:44I feel like the intensity has risen a little bit this year.
00:46I know we've all got a glimpse of what we could do last year.
00:49I feel like we're just trying to expand on that and grow as a team this year.
00:53A lot of these new guys who come in, you kind of grew up in the same year.
00:58What's it like all of a sudden saying, hey, you know what?
01:00We played in the Pop Warner game and now we're going to call it one.
01:03Do you recognize any of that?
01:06Yeah, that's kind of funny to me.
01:07But I mean, just being able to like, you grew up with guys,
01:11you've seen guys like grow.
01:12Like Maddie, for example.
01:13I remember I've always been older than Maddie,
01:15but I've always seen him like grow up.
01:16He played on like the same like seven on seven circuit.
01:18So he was always on like one of the younger teams,
01:20but always was able to talk to him,
01:21always got a chance to just see him play.
01:23And I know he'll always like watch me a little bit growing up.
01:26So I feel like it's just a great experience.
01:28At first it was me, like my brother came here.
01:31So a lot of guys that are already here, like I already watched them play.
01:35So it kind of like flipped the script for me a little bit.
