00:06I wanted to ask you just with the level of expectations
00:09that are coming into this season,
00:11when you look at all of the recruits
00:13and everybody that you have coming back,
00:15how imperative is it for you not only to be successful
00:19and finish strong this season,
00:20but also get into the college football playoff
00:22and make a strong push in that area as well?
00:26It's what it's supposed to feel like here.
00:30Yeah, I've said this, you know, multiple times.
00:32I mean, the only two places that I've been at a head coach at
00:35were Blue Blood Schools that had the highest of expectations.
00:38So, honestly, I've just, I've really known anything different.
00:42You know, we're a product of our own experiences,
00:44and that's been mine.
00:46And so, every year, you know, I expect to win.
00:50I expect us to win.
00:51I expect us to compete for and win championships,
00:53and that doesn't change.
00:54I do, though, certainly will give you what has changed
00:58is I do believe we're more equipped than at any point
01:00in the previous few years.
01:02And I think that's not a hope or a wish.
01:05Those are facts, and there's a lot of facts to back that up.
01:10And it all stems from the first two things I said.
01:13The alignment and momentum within the program is real.
01:16It's palpable.
01:17We feel it.
01:19Our recruits feel it.
01:20Our team feels it.
01:21Our fan base feels it.
01:22And I think a lot of people across the country feel it,
01:25whether they like us or not.
01:26And so, that's how it should be at USC.
01:29And so, you know, in some ways, these years all feel the same.
01:34But I think that's the one area I will give you
01:37that does feel different
01:38and why there's certainly a lot of excitement
01:40and confidence around our program.
