00:00We're talking about knowledge of the future in movies, YouTube channel, Easter Egg Psychic.
00:05In this video, I'll point out some future references and other synchronicities that may appear in the Ninja Gaiden arcade
00:15game.
00:16This was out in 1988 by Japanese developer Tecmo, released in Japan as Ninja Ryuken, a beat-em-up platform
00:25side-scroller.
00:26This led to a series of ports and sequels for home consoles.
00:32Alright, the bosses of round two, the New York City stage, are a tag team duo called the Doro Warriors.
00:42Listen to the theme music here, and you may be able to make out a similarity to Black Sabbath's 1970
00:51rock song, Iron Man.
00:54This track hit number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972, becoming their highest-charting single.
01:03Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass, and Bill Ward on drums.
01:12On the Ninja Gaiden arcade game original soundtrack, this appears as track 7 and titled, I Am Man.
01:19So not Iron Man, but again, very similar.
01:24And you may wonder to yourself, okay, what's the link between Black Sabbath and Iron Man in Ninja Gaiden?
01:33This may involve a reference to a future video game, Chrono Trigger.
01:38The 1995 role-playing adventure by Japanese publisher Square.
01:45This game became one of the most popular RPGs for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the Super Famicom.
01:52Famously featured character designs by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama.
01:59Hironobu Sakaguchi, who created the Final Fantasy games, was a designer on this.
02:06And Yuji Horii, creator of the Dragon Quest series, was a writer on Chrono Trigger.
02:14Alright, and now the connection.
02:17Masato Kato, who was a game artist, writer, and director on the three Nintendo Entertainment System,
02:26Famicom, Ninja Gaiden adaptations.
02:30He later worked with Square, and is credited as a writer on Chrono Trigger as well.
02:37So, in the story of this game, there is a character named Ozzie, and that's O-Z-Z-I-E.
02:45So, yeah, different spelling to Osborn, who spells his name O-Z-Z-Y.
02:52But I thought this connection interesting.
02:56He's one of the foot soldiers or henchmen of Magus.
03:00And he has some partners, also.
03:03The Swordsman Slash, and Flea.
03:07Ozzie was also in Chrono Cross for the Sony PlayStation, released in the year 2000.
03:13And, as I mentioned in another video,
03:16The setting of the Ninja Gaiden arcade game is in the year 1999.
03:23Players of Chrono Trigger will also note that this year is shown in the game.
03:27This is where the apocalypse takes place, involving Lavos,
03:32who emerges from beneath the planet's surface,
03:36and destroys the dome cities of the future society.
03:39My YouTube channel is Easter Egg Psychic.
03:42There I go back and look at movies and television from the past.
03:45I analyze these for possible references to future media.
03:49These may appear in the form of anecdotes, idioms, anagrams.
03:53Hidden in the subtext of the work in question,
03:55I also use an unconventional method where I look at the likenesses of the actors.
04:02And what I found is you can take the likenesses,
04:05match these up to some of the anecdotal items,
04:08and show past, present, and future information about actors
04:12and other personalities
04:14that may resemble the personalities in the movie or television episode
04:17that you're watching.
