00:31So here I will reference what sounds like a sample from a future song.

00:49This style of music primarily hails from the country of Italy.
00:53The Japanese, great patrons of the arts.
00:57Apex released a compilation album series called Super Eurobeat.
01:02I think they used to put out an album almost every month from the early mid-90s up until just
01:09a few years ago.
01:10So for this video, you want to check out Ninja Gaiden 2 The Dark Sword of Chaos.
01:16This was out in 1990 by a publisher, Tecmo, for the Nintendo Entertainment System, also known as the Famicom.
01:23The player again assumes the role of the ninja warrior, Ryu Hayabusa, who set off on a quest to fight

01:58To me, it sounds like a very close match to a song entitled, Din Dun Dun.

02:47If you watch the interlude, a cutscene dialogue leading up to Act 2 in Ninja Gaiden 2 were introduced to

02:57This handler or informant tells the ninja, Ryu, that he must make his way to the Tower of Elijah.
03:06And that's spelled L-A-H-J-A.
03:09This is the stronghold of the Emperor of Darkness, Ashtar.
03:13I found this interesting because in the song Hey Hey Dancing, some of the lyrics talk about the Maharaja.
03:24And this is a famous disco in Tokyo, Japan.
03:28In the other video, I mentioned the setting of the Ninja Gaiden arcade game from 88.
03:34And the 1995 Lupin the 3rd animated movie, Kutabari Nostradamus.
03:43This is the fictional future year of 1999.
03:48So, 1999.
03:51Okay, so back to the music.
03:53And it just so happens that this song, Hey Hey Dancing, appears on the 2010 compilation, non-stop mega mix
04:04album, Super Eurobeat Vol. 200.
04:07There's a Lupin 3 connection on this album as well.
04:12Track 91 is entitled Black UFO, performed by Filippo Cordioli as Lupin.
