00:00You're no stranger to Marvel, but what would you say about working with the Russos?
00:04And does anything about them stand out compared to your previous work in the Marvel world?
00:08Yeah, um, stands out. I think there's a, this knowing that like, they're like the Michael Jordan
00:18of this world together. And it's like Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan, it's not Michael Jordan,
00:22Scottie Pippen, you know, it's like two MJs. And that they know this fan base, they know the stories,
00:29it's ingrained in their being. There's been, there's a level of belief by every actor,
00:36every amazing artist. That's a part of this film of just like trust falling into them.
00:41And that's a really interesting sense of comfort that like is rare to come by. Cause as an actor,
00:47you're sometimes like, oh shit, like is this the right thing? Like what's happening? But because
00:51they know the world so well, it was a really interesting experience of like, like allowing
00:57them to fully lead you and being like being able to have that freedom and that belief combined is
01:04awesome. And do you know if your Top Gun co-star Tom Cruise is proud of you for being in
01:10an Avengers
01:11movie? Yeah. I mean, we text all the time. He's like still to this day, one of my best mentors,
01:16like he, I directed a film and I sent him the script and he set it up and he passed
01:21it forward to,
01:22he's like David Beckham should read this and see this. And he joined on as a producer. So Tom is
01:26like the number one cheerleader for all of us in Top Gun with Lewis Pullman, Monica, Barbara,
01:31he goes and watches her play. Like it's become that state as a true family. Um, and so, yeah,
01:37I think he's, he's definitely proud because it's about entertaining like the fans and that's his MO.
01:43He knows that it's hard to conjure up, uh, the money to bring a whole family to the theater.
01:51And so you have to make it special for that once a month, once every two months that somebody comes
01:55out to the theater, cause it takes effort. Um, and knowing that whenever my family went to the
01:59theater, it was a big event, his entire MO is to entertain and to do it like with the utmost
02:05respect
02:06of your craft. And so I think he'd be proud. That's what I wanted to ask. Thank you so much.
02:10And I mean,
02:10you were just like a man about town right now. I feel like you're everywhere. You're at the World
02:14Cup, you're at the wedding of the century, like you're living your best life. It's pretty,
02:18I feel pretty great, but it's, it's, um, one day at a time, one step at a time. And it's,
02:23um, knowing
02:24that like, I just have to live in the moment and take all the blessings in, but keep busting my
02:31ass and
02:31knowing that like, it's, uh, that's what I'm here for to, to work on my craft.
