00:00What's up viewers. Nick here from tvboxstop with a quick update for my tvboxstop media player app.
00:08I would first like to thank all of you who donated your $5 contribution to the further development
00:13of this app. I sincerely thank you for your support. However there are those who really
00:18enjoy using the app but see it fit not to contribute. Nonetheless the app is still for
00:23free. And as new features are added, I don't know how long I can keep it for free. It will
00:29all depend on how many small donations go towards its development. I read every comment and they go
00:35towards the improvement and further development of the app. One such comment indicated that the app is
00:42of no good if it cannot access your home network to play self-hosted videos from NAS servers or whatever
00:49storage device you may have connected to your network. For example, some people connect their
00:55external hard drives directly to their router via their router's USB port and access it on the
01:01network via SMB. So in today's video I've added a new network access feature to the player. In the
01:08settings area you will now see a network tab. In this section you can scan your network for
01:14existing shared IP addresses or you can manually enter your network credentials.
01:58All right.
02:07So
02:16So
02:35once your network is configured to share properly the player will play videos directly off
02:40of the network.
02:43So that was my short release of version 16 of my TV box media player.
02:48You can download my media player for free using the link in the description.
02:52However if you would like to donate to the further development and continuous updating
02:57of this media player, send your $5 contribution using the PayPal link in the description below.
03:02So stay connected, and see you in the next one.
